The staff was nice but like many reviews before, the cleanliness wasn't great. We stayed there on a Saturday and people were partying until 2 am at the pub attached to the hotel, screaming and slamming doors after they complained our dog barked a few times during the day. There was a lot of glass from broken bottles in the parking lot right behind the cars. Overall, I mean you get what you pay for, it's not expensive and if you need a place to stay, A/C worked well and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel itself is pretty run down on the outside and in the hallways and room entrances. The shower control tap was loose. The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable, the ac works. The continental breakfast was ok.

The room was clean, the setting is amazing on the Rideau Canal system, and the restaurant next door was first rate. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay there again

The hotel is very old and the installations definetely need renovation. The carpet is dirty and cleaning overall needs improvement. I think it is ok if you are just looking for price. We decide to leave earlier as the elevator broken twice in 2 days, there was a police incident in our floor and the air conditioning works in the rooms only, not in the corridor. The staff was super nice and responsive, but the building is old and really can use some renovation, as there are a lot of patches around.
