If you want the he close to everything, this iis the place to be. Close to restaurant- walking distance and most of them under 10 minutes. It’s close the market square and lots of shopping areas. Very convenient especially for someone like me who walks with a cane. The hotel itself is nice and comfortable The staff is courteous and supportive and very helpful. They provide coffee and tea and lemon water all day long They also have transportation to take you to the theatres and will pick you up after the show. They also have an in house restaurant and bar . Yes, I definitely recommend this property and will come back and stay here again.

Loved this inn :) Connected to an excellent restaurant with many delicious options. Chicken avocado spring rolls are particularly amazing. Parking lot is directly attached and has electric charging. Even after checkout, we remained parked there all day to take in shopping and a play. Room was warm upon arrival (despite AC being on) and it took us a few hours to figure out that ample heat was coming from the pilot light on the gas fireplace, but temp was fine after we shut it off. Bed was super comfy, as were the ample pillows. Only downside to unit was complete lack of counter space in the bathroom and a very tight water closet. Loved having the personal concierge text us upon arrival and answer questions throughout stay — very convenient and a nice touch :)

You can't beat the Parlour Inn if attending the Festival. Convenience first rate, whether it's getting a meal in term for curtain, free shuttle service, walking distance to shops and great dining. Staff super helpful, and friendly. Easy parking,easy entry to hotel (auto doors making schlepping bags less odious). Comfortable beds and well appointed bath.

Have stayed at this hotel 3 times. Room was dated. Bed was made bud not tidy. Bathroom was dusty. All mirrors and tv were dusty. Not what I expected from a vintage hotel.

Stayed on a Friday night, room on the main street side on the 3rd floor, with queen bed and bathroom. The staff were very nice. The room was clean. The room could use an update. The carpet in the hallway and room smelled like hospital food..very stale and musty. Thank goodness the windows opened to get fresh air. The room is very small but enough to just sleep for the night. The queen bed was really squishy and uncomfortable. The mattress needs an update. The location relative to where all the action is was great. Parking was great. The security of the building was great. The only other consideration is that the LCBO across the street was having lawn maintenance on Saturday at approximately 8 am and it was extremely loud. So a bad night's sleep because the bed and commercial machines did not make for a relaxing night. I would ask for a room in the parking lot or back next time. I thought it was quite expensive for the room we got, Standard Room with Queen bed.

The location was perfect, a short walk to the theatre and shopping. The suite was lovely and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cozy dressing gowns were a nice touch!

Upon checking into my room, I realized the bathroom shower had not been cleaned properly. There were soap remains on the sides of the shower and obvious residue on the shower walls that had not been wiped off. The glass shelving near the sink had long blonde hairs still on it. The carpet throughout, the building is worn and dirty really needs a steam clean, at least if not replacement. The bedding on my bed did not fit properly over the mattress, exposing it under the pillows. The bedskirt was tucked in to the duvet, and obviously had not been checked Before the housekeeper left the room. The walls beside the bed were dirty, some kind of a white creamy substance on the wall. I had previously stayed at this hotel several years ago and had a great experience. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this hotel in its current state . Has definitely gone downhill since it was a best Western.

Service was excellent at check in , check out and in the dining room … fabulous server We loved the complimentary shuttle to the Festival Theatre The only issue I had was the smelly carpets especially in our room For that reason I would not book again

Very nice hotel, and will stay there again! Staff friendly and approachable. Really appreciated the adjacent parking. Room was small, but included a sitting area. Roomy closet and well-appointed bathroom. A little disappointed that we could hear our noisy neighbours through the walls... Didn't like the Country music in dining room at breakfast. Otherwise, lovely!

The location is perfect: central but quiet. Our room was VERY small, but had everything needed. Our 'suite' was in the original, old part of the building, and so the floor was uneven and sloped, so that table lamps looked crooked! Our main issue: the queen sized bed was very uncomfortable: soft, lumpy and sagged into the middle; definitely not "hotel quality" = we didn't sleep well.... Dining room staff member was friendly and efficient, breakfast was good! We especially appreciated the shuttle service between hotel and theatre.

Room, cleanliness, staff, service, location- all excellent. Only thing that was annoying was the air conditioning unit in the room (noisy so couldn’t keep the fan running all night for air flow). A bit noisy outside to keep the window open. Otherwise, great spot.

The room was small with limited space for luggage. There was 1 chair for 2 people. The bed was uncomfortable. The room was not dark at night as the blinds were poor. The street mise ended around midnight but was terrible at 6:00 am as traffic noise persisted . The HVAC unit was loud and drafts and located about 18 inches from the bed.

Clean, spacious room/suite. The staff was pleasant and we enjoyed both our dinner and breakfast in the dining room. The one negative was the shower. The website photo showed a removable shower head, which is why I booked the room. Instead it was a very high, fixed head that provided a mediocre shower.

The only issue we had was the bed, unfortunately that is the most important part of the stay. I realize the hotel is old and does have sloped floors, but the bed should be leveled out. I felt myself fighting gravity all night so I don't roll over my girlfriend. Also, new mattresses. The rate charged at a small town hotel certainly justifies a better bed. I have slept on more comfortable floors.

I wish I could give the hotel a better rating. I think it’s important for old quaint hotels to survive and thrive.The room was fine and the front desk staff was great on the way in. They went out of their way to welcome us since it was our anniversary. The restaurant was ok - nice server and good food. In the morning however we had several interactions with the front desk that were unacceptable for a hotel that charges what it does. Both were housekeeping issues and went unresolved and seemed to be a result of lack of effort- the opposite of what a small hotel should be like!! I hope for future customers the morning staff is better.

The desk staff were amazing! We loved Caleb as he was very knowledgeable and extremely polite. We had the Thanksgiving meal at the Parlour Inn Restaurant, and it was so amazing! Complements to the chef! The room was imbeccably clean as well.

Wonderful place to stay for a theatre weekend. Great bar and restaurant. Food was terrific. Perfect location. Even a theatre shuttle for the festival theatre so no parking concerns! Caleb and Sheri at from desk were amazing. Comfortable room. Very clean. The rose at night was a lively touch considering it was our 40th anniversary.

Excellent stay, from arrival to departure. The staff were great! The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to the downtown, restaurants and theaters. Very nice hotel that has a historic feeling about it but with updated creature comforts.

The accommodations were very nice. The hotel staff were professional.The restaurant experience was mediocre at best. My wife's flat iron steak was overcooked, my tagliatelle was swimming in creme sauce to the extent of overwhelming the veg in the dish. When we commented to our server, the response was, "thats too bad". I agree! No effort was made to make our dining experience better. We would stay in The Parlour again. Stratford has some of the finest dining and chefs in the country. Dine elsewhere.

The hotel itself was quite nice. It was a bit far from the theatre but the complimentary shuttle to get there was great. It was very busy after the play so we ended up calling an Uber. The downside of the hotel was that the restaurant/closed at 8pm. Considering the play let out after 10:30 we would have liked to have a late night snack and a nightcap.

Overall I would recommend this property and have already done so. Staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were friendly and attentive. My only criticism of the room is that the armchair had certainly seen better days. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was good, but my entree was a little pricey for what it was.
