Quick check in. Plenty of parking. Clean room. Comfortable bed.

Room was clean and comfortable. Bed and pillows clean soft comfy. Check in was quick and easy. Staff were professional and warm greeting. Restaurant was a little pricey but delicious. One elevator was out of service which made a long wait going to room, especially during morning and check out times

Good location, parking, near the main highway. Breakfast included but did not include eggs, hashbrown, or any meat. You had to pay “Egg-stra” for that. Breakfast included is not totally true, you get bread, butter, jam, creamcheese, fruit and cereal. Room was old, had a distinct odour, rooms were full of carpet, stained. Old hotel. No pool either. 2/3 star out of 5.

The elevator was not working and it would take forever to try to get to our room. Our room was on the top floor, 6th. Also for breakfast, it said it was free with our voucher and they made us pay. Then the food was gross.

This was the best place I have stayed at in Toronto! I enjoyed the hearty and reasonably priced meals at the Italian restaurant offered by Monte Carlo Inns. Unfortunately, my stay was too busy to sample their breakfast. Otherwise, the room was clean to very high standards. I'll definitely make it my first choice whenever I'm in Toronto. Having Walmart in the backyard was the cherry on top!

The room was nice and big. Great amenities. Close to restaurants and shops, maybe not walking distance (I did, but it was a workout). Room was clean. Property is a little on the older side, but still a great place to stay. Had a ceiling leak on my last night, they switched me to a similar room, no issues. The only slight bummer - no laundry! Hotels.com said laundry was available, but it wasn't. Staff was friendly and helpful.

There was clearly old dried spit on the wall of the bathroom in room 518 across from the toilet. I notified the front desk on the morning of my second day. When I returned on the evening of the my second day, the room had been serviced and the old dried spit was still on the wall...

Carpets in the rooms and the hallways were very old, stained and dirty.

Rooms were very clean. Maid service was excellent.

Rooms are nice and large, and well furnished. The hotel is showing its age a little, but nothing that makes it a bad place to stay.

My stay was fine and the price was good. The rooms could have done with curtains or blinds to keep out the street light.

The room.was well maintained the AC was a little on the loud side had tobuse ear plugs. The toilet had no pressure howeve the water pressure in shower was amazing.

Not sure but I think someone sprayed a strong air freshener in my room or someone had on a strong body spray. I stunk so bad I got a migrane

The staff was friendly. Parking was pretty convenient. The air conditioner was a wall unit that was pretty loud.

Wifi was intermittent and slow. TV unable to stream or cast from phone. Free breakfast but you had to pay $8 for something cooked and hot so not really free. It was comfortable and decent but overall average.

The curtain didn’t fully close so the room got bright early in the morning, and it was a bit noisy since my room was next to the stairs. The breakfast could also be improved—eggs weren’t included even though the website mentioned them. Air quality in the room could be fresher too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our deluxe suite but we could tell that it need to be refreshed with paint and wall paper. At first glance, one wouldn't notice this. Everything was spotlessly clean. The sheets were so white that they made sleeping a joy. We also had 2 TV's, one in the bedroom, the other in the living room that could be seen from the jacuzzi tub. The safe was an excellent size that fit my purse, jewelry box and laptop. I was disappointed that the wifi was not secure for guests. Even though we were told there was room service, the front desk attendant told us there wasn't any. There was a room service T# on the room guide but the T# was not in service. The attendant put us thru to the restaurant and we were told room service was available for most of the day. The restaurant was wonderful. I would give it a 4 star rating. I love white linen table cloths and water being offered without having to ask for it. The food was amazing. If we lived closer, we would return just to dine. Also, after returning late from our event, we were allowed a later time to leave the room.

Was nothing fancy but for the price was good! Only thing with room was only one facecloth and the tv in the sitting room was really bad, you couldn’t watch a show was glitching

Was visiting from out of town and arrived around 1:30 pm-I called and hoped I could an early check-in. The friendly staff accommodated my request which was such a relief! Great spot!

Front line staff really need to work on their customer service. I was thrown off by one of them.

staff at front desk are not friendly, one lady was yelling at me that I accidentally double book our stay. Instead of helping me out what to do she was rude and upset. Not very accommodating and helpful.

The hotel was clean. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were absolutely horrendous. I was lied to about the laundry services. Multiple emails (which included my dates of stay) stated laundry to the front desk by 9am and pick up same day from 7pm on. I attempted to hand over my laundry on arrival and was informed that they don’t provide the service fri-sun. The dining staff were rude and quite frankly I was disgusted and offended by them. What ever you do, even tho they do not tell you at check in, DO NOT go for the continental breakfast without getting a voucher from the front desk. You will be accosted upon entry. I witnessed a desk clerk humiliate and shame a poor mother. She was in the lobby with her young child, 3-4 years of age is my guess. The child was greeting everyone entering with a bright cheery smile. Mom was just standing off to the side watching. Child was not running around or terrorizing. Desk clerk cut off conversation with me re: laundry services and asked the mom what she was waiting for. Rudely told the mother to go sit down and take her kid with her because it doesn’t look good! Apparently a warm cheery smile to greet patrons “doesn’t look good” I travel often due to career, kids sports and personal vacations……I have NEVER been so unhappy with a hotel’s treatment of its patrons. I booked 3 rooms with my group and it’s an annual trip. We tried a different hotel this time, we will NOT be returning to this location.

The staff were not helpful or friendly. The “free” breakfast was stale and awful. The hot water for tea, not hot, the food limited, but you could PAY for an actual breakfast. No luggage rack in the room to put suitcases on during our stay and the staff would not bring one to the room, nor would they help locate a luggage trolley when needed. I found the hotel staff to be horrible, unhelpful and rude. The room was so small but packed with furniture. I won’t go back to that location, ever. There are so many other, newer and more friendly places to stay within blocks of the Monte Carlo, Vaughn.

I didnt like the room I live by 11 o’clock in the night and that dinner returned my money in a week deposit I had to physically call them and they returned the money. I think they are fraud tried to take the deposit and never return it

Easy access to local roads and major highways.

Not walkable to anything other than WalMart but quick drive to nearby shops. Basic accommodation, clean and quiet.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times during my business trips to Toronto, and it’s always a solid choice. The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome. It’s about an hour from downtown, but it’s close to a subway station and super easy to get into the city if you have a car since it’s right off the highway. Also very convenient for the airport. Overall, a comfortable and cost-effective stay — I keep coming back!

The hotel itself was clean, easy to find and rooms very comfortable. Staff were helpful and efficient. The only thing negative was the breakfast. Breakfast was included in the price and described as an enhanced breakfast on line. But for more than toast and cereal, the enhanced part, it was and additional $8 and the coffee was cold.

We have stayed here many times (even last month). It’s an okay hotel but the continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. They ran out of stuff and have a limited selection as it is. Their extra breakfast for 8 dollars has limited offerings — used to have French toast but not this time. Next time, going to Gordo’s down the street or DiMano Bakery —more choice and better coffee. As well, noticed that the carpets in the room are fading and need replacement. Same thing I noticed on the room we had last month. Are they not planning to update or will they be torn down to make way for all the condos they seem to be building in the area?

Continental breakfast was pathetic. Low quality. Paying extra for basic items.

Four night stay while visiting Toronto. Ten minute walk to Subway then a 40min ride to the centre. Would of been better to have a kettle, and if window opened as AC only seemed to blow warm air. Continental breakfast was very basic and just cereal or bread/pastries, no fruit, yoghurt or fresh juice. You can pay an extra $8 for a cooked breakfast. There is a Walmart across the road which was a god send.

The hotel is well located; it's clean and the staff from the Reception is very polite. When I did the reservation I read that the breakfast was included but it's not true since you have to pay for it. But they offer coffee, cookies, some bread, cereal, and fruit for free. Probably that is what they refer as breakfast. On the whole I recommend it!

Nice place with a great location, staff and restaurant/bar. Room was spacious and clean and pricing was less than most others in the area. Will return for sure!

Everything worked. It’s just that everything is looking tired. The breakfast is a joke! They make a huge production out getting a buffet voucher in the morning and the wait staff almost tackled you to get same voucher. This only to find out that the buffet breakfast was nothing more than a bad continental breakfast consisting of cheap pastries, stale bread, off brand cereal and mediocre coffee and cheap concentrated juice. It’s obvious that the hotel contracts the breakfast. In all honesty they would be better off to just offer coffee and grab n go pastries in the lobby than embarrass themselves with this disgusting swill.
