The staff was outstanding. The first greeting from the check-in desk, housekeeping and the breakfast crew....All first class and professional. The facilities were clean and tidy (including the fitness room) It was a great value for the price. I'm not afraid to call out something bad, but in this case, I have nothing but praise.

The rate was astronomical considering the amenities. Property is under construction and we had to change rooms twice. First because the toilet was faulty and then the first backup room was covered in dust and wet towels on the bathroom floor. The staff on site was beyond courteous and responsive to our needs. The rates absolutely gouge customers because their kids play sports nearby, This is nowhere near a $289/night value. Hotels.com rates similar properties in the $115-$155/night range.

The hotel overall was very nice. The pool looked great, although we didn't try it out. Breakfast was great and front desk staff was attentive-i believe the gentleman's name was Jim that checked us in. Room was comfortably large for just 2 of us.

The hotel is clean and renovated, and great location near the beach with direct access. It's everything I wanted. The only thing that was annoying was that there was an elevator down and the other one ran VERY PAINFULLY slow. If you are coming with a lot of bags, I'd ask for a room on the second floor and take the stairs.

The staff was amazing at this Holiday Inn, breakfast staff and front desk representatives were very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, the tissues and toilet paper were extremely low quality, the towels had degraded so that they were falling apart. The room drapes, closet pole, luggage rack were falling apart, rendering them unusable. We would return because of the staff but the room needed attention and $ investment. Our stay was comfortable, but the kids running up and down the hallway was very annoying. We had to call the front desk at 10pm to get the kids from being so loud. In addition, the shower leaked water all over the floor in the bathroom. The shower needs a 2” to 3” barrier to keep the water in the shower. Overall, the room was clean, breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful with getting the noise from the kids under control. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you.

There was a large group of families with young boys also staying at the hotel and unfortunately we got put into their block of rooms. These boys were running wild through the hotel hallways all hours of the night causing a racket. Our room was also right next to the elevators and ice machine, so we barely slept due to the noise. I probably won’t ever stay in a Holiday Inn Express again.

We arrived after a long travel day expecting to receive what we reserved; a king bed in a nice quiet room. When we arrived and asked to sign in at checking I noticed two double beds. I showed them the reservation saying one king bed. She said we don't have any. No apologies, just a blank statement, "we don't have any. " Then at 11:00pm a loud engine, motor, compressor sound woke us up and called many times to the FD to see if anything is being fixed and it took hours before it just Stopped. Extremity uncomfortable mattress. Squeeky, crumbly, no support. Nice pillows though.

My Expedia reservation was for a room with a king bed. The staff put us in a room with two queen sized beds. Even though the hotel was half empty, the staff wouldn’t move us to a room with a king without an up charge. This didn’t seem like a fair solution.

Poor communication extremely noisy kids runny in the hallways food option terrible and we waited long for the food to be prepared over 25 minutes and still waiting for my refund as of today and nothing called the hotel 4 times and supposedly someone would get back to me and no luck as of yet

The only complaint I had was with check-in. We were tired after driving down from NY and the desk clerk was on the phone for a good 15 minutes while we waited to be checked in. I was surprised there was no one else to help us as there were several people on line behind us also and it was not that late. Everything else was fine and the cleaning and maintenance people were great. There were a couple of self caused problems with the shades and the TV and the maintenance guy arrived right away and was very pleasant, as was the maid.

Was there for a baseball tournament. Very close to fields. Just wish other families had more consideration about the noise and messes their kids make. The knocking on doors after 11pm and racing up and down the halls after long days was a bit much at times. Hotel Was very convenient and we were happy with our stay for the most part.

We planned a tour at Havre de Grace and this is where we stayed since it is only 14 minutes away. Its location is very convenient since it is close to a shopping center. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely book here again or recommend this place.

Everything was very nice The lady at the front desk was exceptional and very friendly, almost like we knew each other, my only beef would be even though the breakfast was more than adequate, it was only warm to say the least, I myself like my eggs’ bacon and sausage hot, but I would still give this hotel high ratings
