Our stay was close to the T and not far from Suffolk University and Harvard, the two schools we were touring. The gym was a bit small and there was no swimming pool. However, everything else was great!

Charged a $25 "Destination Fee" which was not disclosed until we checked in. Also, parking is ridiculous. Parking garage next door charges $55 for overnight parking otherwise street parking wherever you can find a spot which you also pay for however that was much cheaper but not very convenient. Would not stay here again.

Fantastic property. Bar/restaurant on site has excellent choices. Rooms are spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is easy (but runs at the standard Boston rate of around $50 per night). Happy with my stay

Unfortunately they did not have a fitted sheet on our bed. They just laid down a non fitted sheet on top of the mattress pad with a comforter on top. There were also little dark curly hairs in the shower when we arrived which was pretty gross. However, everyone we met there was extremely nice.

The bath had a clogged drain which the management addressed when I requested attention. There was also a not fully cleaned toilet and damaged drapery, which I informed the management about, but they weren’t addressed during my one night stay.

While the staff is very nice, there has been one problem after another since check in. First the elevators are not working properly, and one is completely out of order. Upon reaching my room I found dirty tissues under chair, reading light didn’t work because top outlet broken. Coasters in bathroom were disgusting and I threw them in trash immediately. Refrigerator doesn’t work properly and staff is aware it keep filling with water and doesn’t hold temperature. Poor experience even at dinner. Menu states an item short rib pizza comes with a red wine Demi glaze sauce and it did not. Came with tomato and pesto on a premade pizza crust. Haven’t been even offered late check out or free breakfast for any of the problems. Sad because this trip is for my social media review and I don’t have the greatest review to leave

We had a lovely time, here! The room was comfortable and clean. The staff is really lovely and very responsive to any problem. Breakfast, breakfast service, was great. Several nice cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean spacious room,comfortable bed. Location was excellent for us,about 25 minutes walk from the Harvard Hurlbut Hall. Breakfast was great ,lots to choose from. Very pleasant stay,definitely come back.

The bed and linens were so comfy! I did not want to get out of bed. Hotel was very convenient to cambridge and downtown boston. Only negs- the bathroom lacks storage and counterspace. Also the hotel doesnt have much of a lobby waiting area.

This is incredibly convenient to explore both the MIT and Harvard campuses and the staff was delightfully helpful. The rooms are a tad tired and the bath/showers old-fashioned for the top tier price we paid. But the beds were comfortable, it was quiet and we loved it as a walking base for Cambridge.

Pretty good overall. Not too far from Fenway. Room was clean. Room was right across from elevator, and kept hearing the chime go off. Better soundproofing on those rooms close to the elevator. Parking next door easy enough. Pitcher to fill water was odd. You had to take a carafe down the hall and get filtered water

The hotel was very clean and in a nice location. The toilet in our room was a bit funky, sounded like it was screaming any timed it was flushed. Our room had a connecting door to another room and we could hear everything from the guests which was not pleasant. Also the elevators in the parking garage next to the hotel were not working.

I stayed a total of 13 nights to attend my MIT executive education course. The hotel's dining area is only a bar. They lack a proper dining room, but I didn't mind the setup. What REALLY annoyed me was the rude and poor customer service provided by the bartender. I ordered a penne pasta and asked the bartender (there are no waiters) to add chicken on 2 separate nights. I was charged $8 on the first night and $12 on the second. The pasta was the same dish. Since I was charged a different price for the chicken on the second night, I asked the bartender why there was a price difference. He just shrugged and just said I don't know, it is just different. He was annoyed by my inquiry as if I should pay and not bother him. I was already tired from a long day of class at MIT and didn't want to argue. I just paid and barely left him a tip, and left and never returned for dinner again. To top it off, the pasta was terrible. I only ate there because I was too exhausted to walk around in the rain to find another restaurant. Lastly, the hotel charges a $25/night destination fee that was hidden in the fine print when I booked the hotel. The additional cost was a surprise to me. I would not recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay overall. The location was great (a short walk to the Metro and shops, restaurants on Massachusetts Avenue). The staff was so helpful, friendly and responsive with everything we needed. We had trouble with our microwave during our stay-they replaced it with a new one but that one malfunctioned too. I say that to show that while it was an inconvenience to lose the microwave, the staff took take of it swiftly and the best they could. The room was very comfortable but a bit small for the three of us. Beds were great and I loved the pillows so much I looked them up online to see if I could buy one! Breakfast was all right, not great, but it gave us what we needed. Again, very friendly staff in the restaurant even though they were stretched thin and could have used an extra hand or two. We had a few glasses of wine in the bar and prices were high, but the wine was good. All in all I’d recommend and I’d consider staying there again. Smiling, helpful staff made all the difference in our stay!

I had key card trouble due to our room’s card reader batteries being dead. Gaja at the concierge desk was super helpful and when we finally made it into our room, there were beautiful treats and a lovely bottle of wine! Such a wonderful gesture.

The gentleman at the front desk was an extremely wonderful person to greet me when I walked in. My wife’s been in mass general for eight months so I had to stay here and I stayed Friday night and the gentleman was just a very nice comforting gentleman, as well as the gentleman at the bar who gave me my food. They were extremely extremely nice welcoming, comforting people, and I’ve never left a review like that before in fact, I usually never leave reviews, but they deserve some good feedback. The woman that was at the desk. Saturday morning was also very very sweet.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations! Bed was super comfy, the location was perfect (right by some delicious restaurants, Target, and all the action of Cambridge!), staff was super friendly and attentive, and the lobby was perfect with a nice bar and great restaurant! Had a great time and will definitely stay here again.

Everything about Le Meridien was wonderful. Its right in between MIT and Harvard. There are so many places to eat in the area. The hotel bar and restaurant are pretty darn good as well. Subway is just down a couple of blocks to go into the city. The hotel is very clean and modern. Will definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately, I got sick from the bar food. We found the staff to be polite but not pleasant. No parking on site. No valet. No room service. Not up to the Marriott standard, in our opinion and based upon staying in Marriott's across the world.
