Days Inn by Wyndham Dover Downtown

The only plus is the staff was very helpul and nice. The property however, is very low quality. My first room before I had to move due to a bathroom issue, had multiple lights that did not work, the refrigerator was not even plugged in, and the TV did not work. The staff again did what they could to help in all cases, but the property is in dire need of upgrades to the rooms.

This would have to be the very worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at or seen in my life. It was so bad that we even left the second night and paid for an additional hotel somewhere else because it was so bad. Let me start off with the first room that we walked into after we check in had cigarettes ashes all over the floor and the desk. I immediately let the nearby Cleaning lady know that this was in this situation and she immediately began to try to fix it. Meanwhile, I sent my husband back to the lobby to ensure that we are getting a smoke free room. He comes back with another set of keys to a different room. Let me tell you about room number two. The couch/pullout sofa apparently was completely missing the mattress inside therefore the cushions and the seats were sunk down and broke, so you couldn’t sit on the couch nor could you use it for a pull up bed if you needed it. Second, the TV didn’t work. My husband went to the front desk yet again and he came back with a guy that worked there and he was unable to fix it too. He was unable to speak English to explain any kind of resolution or follow up and just simply walked away. So we spent the night in the second room with no couch or ability to sit or television. The grounds were so disgusting. There was a previous guest is chicken leftovers in the fridge for who knows how long that we discovered, which I guess was a hidden bonus, but I think it was months old if you get my drift. I'm not a picky person at all but this might actually be the worst hotel ive even stay at. Besides the sheets and towels nothing was clean. The bath tub looked like someone waa murdered in it. The double beds sat on queen or king frames. TV didnt work at all. Microwave worked but was disgusting and from the 90s. I had to actually clean things before using anything. If I didn't already prepay I would have payed more somewhere else.

Our first room was HORRIBLE. Floor is sinking, it smelled like someone just smoked in there. Front door almost broke. Second room wasn’t ready yet when we arrived.

Low cost but pretty messy. Just be aware. Price was good but that’s all.
