Hilton Garden Inn Portsmouth Downtown

Not impressed that the only parking option was $45/night. Hotel advertisement mentions Valet parking available but doesn’t say that is the only option. I likely will not stay again as I do not like misleading advertising.

Absolute worst Hilton ive ever stayed at! We went for mothers day so my wife didnt want me to complain to the desk at the consist issues. First off the hotel is deliberately wording the breakfast a weird way. It is not free, its actually quite expensive for what it is. It wasnt even available for the weekend...how. Then out room was not clean, floor dirty, toilet not clean, and the kicker was the shower was moldy. It was disgusting. They market 24/7 access to the gym and also the pool i believe, its not. My wife had some sort of insect bites on her. Either the front desk said nothing to use when asking a question or it seemed like they had a stick up their a**. Im embarrassed that i had to take my wife there for mothers day. We almost left but my wife is far to nice. This hotel is in a great spot but should be ashamed of themselves.

Great location for shopping and restaurants. Nautical theme of the hotel is very fitting for the location. We were given a corner room and the views were beautiful. Would definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Portsmouth.
