Best Western Plus Portsmouth Hotel & Suites

Over night staff was amazing and tentative to our late night needs as a late arrival at 1am in the morning.

We had 4 in our room and we stayed for 3 nights and never saw any housekeeping staff. No fresh towels, had to ask for toilet paper. And to make matters worse had no hot water the entire stay except one shower. Found someone else’s gummy bears and a bottle cap under the bed. Normally not a complainer but feel compelled to mention this

Some youth sports team was there during our stay. They were obnoxiously loud for HOURS. I called numerous times and nothing was dealt with because the pool would be closing at 10. My first call was 8:30 - and that was after listening for a couple hours. Why should I have to put up with that until 10pm?? I called back after 10 because they then went around and knocked on all the doors. Again, this was not dealt with. Completely unacceptable!! I stay at this hotel quite frequently and I know this isn’t the norm, but I will NOT put up with it again.

Check in from 16.00 hrs. Reception staff very helpful and accomodating even when I locked the door keys in the room

Front desk staff was exceptional! Both of the young men that I interacted with were very accommodating and friendly. Housekeeping staff were wonderful as well, keeping the place very clean and also providing extra coffee to our room. The facility was very clean and presentable at all times. Some of the carpets in the room were slightly worn, but otherwise no complaints.
