They didn’t clean my room the first night, they advertised pool and hot tub, but the hot tub was broken, no notice, and what they called a restaurant was a Starbucks with limited hours and food. And the elevator broke, they didn’t put up a notice, and I’m disabled, had to go down the stairs. Was very disappointed.

Accomodations were good. Room could have been a little cleaner (dusty in various places). The biggest issue we had was actually finding the place. There was NO lit signage either out front or on the building itself. We drove past it once and had to u-turn and we pulled into where we thought it should be and then saw the very small, unlit sign, partly camouflaged by bushes. I even mentioned it to the staff in front and just got a "sorry." Other than those things, it was fine.

the Courtyard Stockton overall looked nice and clean and the staff was friendly, but there is no security in the area.. no patrol, no perimeter gate, no cameras, and very dim outside lighting! our car was vandalized in the parking lot during our stay! the back window was smashed in.. so that added to an already expensive (overpriced during graduation weekend) stay. also, the room did not have enough outlets, smart charging devices for phones etc. and no microwave! so essentially the age of the property was apparent.. and in need of an upgrade. next time we will be staying at the Hilton Stockton, which is gated for safety and has better amenities. sorry Courtyard Stockton, we will not be coming back.

This location is currently being renovated, which is a good thing. The rooms have already been updated to the modern Courtyard style and the common areas and building exterior were works in progress when I was last there. The staff is helpful and accommodating. I appreciate that this location is being renovated as it was showing its age. I’m hopeful that the property will be more comfortable and modern.

The desk and night staff were wonderful, Helpful and professional. Cleaning staff were adequate, a couple fo 'odd' things, they changed the towels but did not make the bed, replace the coffee packets, minor details. There were also 'dirt' on the walls that I was able to wipe off with a wet wash cloth. I also had flying bugs in the room - looked like flying ants- again not a deal breaker just observations.

When I travel to Stockton to visit family, I always stay here. It’s in a decent part of town and close to where I need to be. The location is generally well kept and a good stay. This trip, there were some issues. Loud, rude guests well into the night and early morning, which isn’t the fault of the hotel. However, cleanliness issues in the bathroom were unusual as I have always found this place to be pretty clean. Grime and several hairs around the mounted soap dispenser, some weird pink spray residue all over one of the walls. Dozens of fruit flies…it was weird and off putting. And while the rest of the room looked fine, the stare of the bathroom made suspect. I will stay here again and just hope house keeping was having a bad day. But management could be a bit more diligent about checking.

We were attending a Christmas party near the Hotel and didn't want to drive back to Modesto. The hotel was close by and clean as a whistle. All of the staff were courteous and friendly. The room was spotless and warm upon entry. The site is being renovated in order to keep up with the times, but did not hamper our experience.

We have stayed here twice now when coming to Stockton. It’s in a safe area! We lived in Stockton years ago and we know which areas are safe and comfortable when needing to return. The room was clean. The property was nice and the staff were excellent.

Property is under renovation during our stay. We had a room that was finished. It needs more bathroom lighting and counter space. There is no place to even put a toothbrush. It's as if the they thought the lights from 1970 were still ok..so we wont change them. it is absolutely not ok. We had to put our bath gear on the floor and in the closet. Come on Marriott, spend the money to make it right. Staff was very nice

Very disappointing and underwhelming. This hotel is dated and lacks modern amenities. I can’t recall the last time I’ve been in a hotel room without a usb charging port. Furniture is old, dusty and rusty. Would expect this for a low priced room, not for over $200/night.

The staff here is absolutely amazing! So friendly and helpful! The front lobby was under construction, so it wasn’t quite up to its usual standards. Room was well maintained and the beds were very comfortable. We were very happy with our stay!

This is my go-to hotel when I visit family in Stockton. It's in a quieter part of town and feels safe. I prefer rooms on the third floor as they usually have balconies. This time I was on the second floor, which was fine. My only real complaint is that shower pressure is hit and miss and the lighting in the bathroom is just so so. Otherwise, always happy with my Marriot stays. Very nice front desk staff, as well.

The staff is incredibly helpful from Tom at the front desk to Sarah at the restaurant everyone goes out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We’ll be back since the service is always fantastic! The rooms are comfortable, safe location close to main roads, dining and shopping. Love to stay here!

Provided a convenient centralized location for our trip. Room was clean, comfortable and the staff was amazingly friendly! Night shift Troy, bartender Sarah M were stand-outs! The only opportunity is to have complimentary coffee in the morning. This is one of the few hotels that doesn’t.

The bathroom tiolet clogged and i waited 15 minutes after calling front desk. I left for dinner and when i returned it was fixes. Front desk initially said it fixed asap. The service was slow.

The hotel is nice, quiet and in a safe area of Stockton. My only comment is that of a 3 night stay, I received housekeeping once. I had my towels hung, but was still given fresh towels, new soap, trash was emptied but....The bed was not made? I found that to be very odd? At least it was only 3 nights so it was no big deal, but still why go to all the trouble of "freshening" the room and not make the bed?

This location is currently being renovated, which is a good thing. I have stayed in this hotel a few times in the past. During my recent visit however, my car was broken into during the early morning hours and my back window was smashed in. Although the staff was very helpful in giving me phone numbers for the local police and helping me clear out the broken glass, I was advised by the police officer to not stay at this hotel or any other hotel in the Stockton area as cars commonly get broken into. Very sad.

Quiet and safe neighborhood. Beautiful landscaping. Many food and shopping options a short drive away. Marriot always seems to do the little things that you miss at other chains. Good value. Skip the bistro, poor service and mediocre food quality.

This is my second stay, about ten years after the first. The staff are good, I had no issues. But the facility is in bad need of a makeover. I found one accessible outlet in the room, it was at the bathroom sink. The other was under the desk and behind the tv stand..not accessible and not okay these days. The coffee and food didn’t seem to be available Friday afternoon or Saturday morning…so when is it available?

The pool and hot tub were not working while we were there. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, quiet rooms and location. It would be nice if it offered a free breakfast I feel like I have stayed in bend with the same chain and they had a free breakfast.
