Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Very welcoming & staff went out of their way to provide excellent service. The hotel provides a great buffet breakfast with the option of cooked eggs. The is no bar but each room has a mini bar & the is an honesty bar in the small lounge next to reception. I would definitely recommend.

The location was excellent for access to all public transportation. The front desk helped us arrange train tickets. The Expedia listing showed laundry facilities but they only had the usual very expensive laundry service. We found a laundromat a few stops away on the underground.

Easy arrival for those with a vehicle. Outdoor parking is attached behind the hotel and there is also the possibility of parking inside the private garage. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the street. The window was very well soundproofed. The room was very clean. The breakfast was complete. The hotel was very well located.

Best employees ,Angelica greet me with a big smile during check in ,and fast service to send me my room ..This hotel is converted from old building so 2 floor is hotel the rest is residence ,they have small elevator ,and my room was at 2. Floor when I get out of elevator there are 4 steps 😟😧 ..with baggage it was hard ,When I get in my room 206 it was smelling mold and old carpet and very small ,although I have paid full in advance through Expedia ,I thought to move another hotel ..Plus side Location,Employees,reliable price ..

Das gesamte Team des Hotels Capricorno war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hoch motiviert. Ganz toll. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, das Zimmer immer top sauber. Vielen Dank für einen wunderbaren Wien- Aufenthalt. Das Hotel Capricorno liegt direkt am Schwedenplatz, hat damit eine super Verkehrsanbindung an die Öffis (und damit natürlich auch anteilig Straßenlärm).

The location is perfect but it’s outdated / very old and the carpet is very dirty and stained all over the hallways and inside the rooms the breakfast team are very nice but you have to ask them to make your tea or coffee also ask them to toast / warm the bread for you which i think it’s so annoying specially if a lot of people are eating breakfast at the same time it will be a mess !

A nice warm welcome when we arrived. All the staff are so nice and helpful. Nice comfy bed, good bathroom, lovely hot, poweful shower. Room a good size for 2, with balcony. Breakfast choice was good, the omelettes, and soft boiled eggs were excellent! Hotel was spotless. Great, place to stay when visiting Vienna.

If you get the right room, the hotel is wonderful. Room 219 was old, the sink didnt drain, and the screeching air conditioner kept us up all night. Awful experience. We were given a nicer room, and all was well. Someone else had an awful experience.

The rooms have been recently renovated. They are spacious and well appointed. Well thought out and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Service, location and amenities in no particular order. Hotel Capricorno has a lot to offer to their guests. From the easy check in to the hassle free check out. Assistance given with our suitcases being delivered to our room on the first day and then to the waiting taxi on our departure. A big thank you to the thoughtful breakfast team who always serves with a smile. And then we have Marco, Claudia, Angelika and Mathias from the Front desk who are always considerate and available to answer our queries. Dining and shopping options galore in the surrounding area. Stephenplatz square is a mere few minutes walk away but so much to see on the way there. If walking is not your thing, the metro U1 is just to the left of the hotel’s entrance which you can use to get to the train station if you are interested to go to Prague and Bratislava . The hotel staff can also assist with the Vienna Sightseeing hop on/ hop off bus tickets, the pick up spot is also to the left and across from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again on my return to Vienna. I felt safe, comfortable and relaxed. The included breakfast from 6:30 am to 11 am was a perfect way to start the day plus who doesn’t want coffee and cakes at 3 pm to 6 pm.

The staff was fantastic. Always smiling and ready to help. The breakfast was lovely and the breakfast staff was amazing. I felt like I was staying at a family run business because of the care and attention of the staff. The only down side was the shower in the bathroom- very small and inconvenient. Great location and really enjoyed my stay.

What a fantastic team at Hotel Capricorno. They arranged smooth transport to and from the airport, our driver Gunther was there at arrivals waiting with our name on a board. A most thoughtful gift was left in our room for my wife’s birthday along with a card and wishes from all the staff. Breakfast was fantastic and the kitchen staff were wonderful to provide drinks for me to take to my room each morning. Location of the hotel was perfect for all transport links and to be able to walk into the main city areas. The street food stalls out front were particularly good. The front desk was so polite and helped me to print out tickets when our flight home was cancelled and gave us late checkout with no additional charge. Our room was fully equipped with a great bath room and fully stocked bar. I give this hotel and the team 5 stars and thanks to them we had a wonderful weekend in the amazing city of Vienna.

Har været på hotellet i 2019 og igen var det en super oplevelse. Medarbejderne var alle meget servicemindede og venlige. Man opfattede en rigtig god ånd og arbejdsglæde i hele huset. I've just spent 4 nights at this property and it was fantastic. The room and bathroom had everything I needed and the included breakfast had plenty of choice. All staff were friendly and helpful, with the male who checked me in on arrival taking the time to provide me with maps/info leaflets and recommending things to do and see. The hotel is in a convenient location as the underground, trams and sightseeing bus have stops right outside. The bus to and from the airport also has a stop 5 mins walk from the hotel. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vienna and I will stay here again on my next visit.

L'hôtel est très bien situé. Accès direct aux métro et tram juste en face même si nous avons tout fait à pied pour découvrir la ville. Le centre historique est à 10min de marche. L'ensemble du personnel est d'une extrême gentillesse. L'accueil, le petit déjeuner, la propreté des chambres sont irréprochables. In Sachen Sauberkeit, Zimmer, Frühstück, Service und Freundlichkeit des Personals gibt es nichts zu beanstanden ; die Lage am belebten Schwedenplatz ist nicht ganz ruhig, aber super zentral, die innere City liegt quasi vor der Tür und jeweils 2 U-Bahn- und Strassenbahn-Linien machen die ganze Stadt gut erreichbar.

This hotel was perfect for us. Location is quite a busy area, only a few mins walk to St Stephen’s platz and close to a tube station and the tram, so very convenient, but the soundproofing is excellent. With the windows closed (heating and air con fully adjustable) you can hear almost nothing from outside. Heard nothing from neighbouring rooms either. Room was very well equipped and with a good bathroom and shower. Breakfast included with loads of choice including cooked eggs and bacon. Free coffee and cake in the afternoon was perfect to refresh after hours of exploring before heading out again for the evening. All staff so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

This was such a great place to stay in Vienna. It was very close to amazing restaurants and the beautiful sights of Vienna. As well as very convenient to get to Public transportation. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were so friendly. It also helps that delicious dessert places are right around the corner. I would absolutely stay there again.
