Hotel Florida

Good location, next to metro station with parking (included, but at a different location nearby). The hotel is a bit dated. We had to ask for shower gel and soap bar as they were not replenished.

Excellant location for walking to central area. Excellant wifi, helpful staff, free parking offered a couple of blcks away.

Great location, 30 minutes walk to the old town. Definitely not a 4-star hotel. At best 2-star. Check-in was fast and efficient. Excellent breakfast which was quite varied. However, there was no bar, restaurant in the hotel establishment. Our room had no facilities - no iron or coffee/tea-making facilities. The 'gym' is really a seriously mini-gym with two machines, bench press and weights. So definitely a no-frills type of place. Staff were friendly. Would I stay there again..... Not really.

Free Parking is great, walkable and good places around the area to eat.

An average hotel stay. Spacious clean room and large bed (bigger than kingsize) however decor was tired looking. The wooden floor was broken and in some-places missing. The toilet and bidet were on the wrong side of each other, meaning that due to the angle of the bathroom one could not sit straight when using the toilet. Staff were friendly and helpfull, even if the concierge guy was overly eager to help us with our bags. Despite being advertised online on arrival i was advised that the bar was closed permanently. Very close to the metro and other public transport which was a bonus and far enough away from the mail tourist area to be quiet and peaceful at night. On the whole an average hotel, however from my experience in travelling and hotel using this is a three star hotel NOT a four star hotel.

The rooms were a good size. Everything was clean and comfortable. The bed was a little hard but we slept well. Also it has a small gym, which was a very pleasant surprise! It was in a great location that was convenient to everything we wanted to see and do in Lisbon - and we did a lot!!

Staff here couldn’t be more helpful and kind - they got as an in room tea&coffee tray straight away when we enquired as it says it’s included. The breakfast buffet had a good variety & regularly refreshed with attentive friendly staff. Sadly the rooms were a bit of a let down, a lot of cracked tiles, peeling paint, stained carpet and lamps, mini fridge (not mini-bar as stated in description) was broken inside and had so much ice build up in it. I was quite disappointed for the price (£125ish a night), especially as in normally go a bit more budget & the room felt of the same level.

O quarto era espaçoso e limpo. A decoração não é o meu estilo. Os preços aumentaram nesta semana que inseri mais 2 dias. A equipe da recepção é educada e prestativa. O Hotel só dá uma garrafa de água como cortesia na chegada. A cadeira do quarto estava com 2 pequenas rachaduras no canto.

I had a wonderful stay at the Florida Hotel. I booked a superior double room and was given an upgrade to a suite. I'm very happy with my stay here. Room was clean and refreshed daily. They gave a complimentary bottle of water at the beginning of my stay. It is very close to the Liberdade Ave where there a lot of fancy shops. Hotel staff was also very friendly and helpful. Will stay again!

Hotel com boa localização e bom café da manhã. Limpeza geral e do quarto ótima.

Propre mais vieillot. Personnel accueillant et sympathique. La femme de chambre aurait pu être un peu plus assidue, considérant que vous avions un long séjour (13 nuits). Somme toute assez agréable.

The employees are very helpful and professional. The room was clean .

The location of this hotel is really good and you have access to almost all transportation or you may walk downtown. The washrooms had molded caulking and ceilings were cracked. Also garbage truck and traffic in the morning can be noisy and you wont get a deep sleep.

Excellent location, hotel is a bit old. Noisy at times. I most dislike there is no electric outlet near the bed

The room was nice and spacious with an extra large bed that was quite comfortable in. My partner and I enjoyed our quick stay however the walls are quite thin. The room next door started playing music in the middle of the night and we could hear it all

Hotel situato a 4 minuti a piedi dalla fermata metro l8nea rossa e gialla Marques de Pombal, dove transitano anche molti buses, compresi quelli per Belem. Accanto all’hotel é presente un comodo supermercato. Check in rapido. Camera spaziosa e pulita. Letto comodo e grande. Camer molto luminosa. Bagno con doccia, adeguatamente grande e dotato anche di dispenser per crema idratante (molto comoda in estate). Unico difetto, Wi-Fi che funzionava davvero male e linea che cadeva continuamente.

the only reason I didn't give 100% satisfaction is because of the wifi. It is slow

Room was clean and comfortable but facing the back so got the wall out the window with a/c noise. But overall pretty good.

We arrived around 11 am, too early for us to check in. We had a friendly reception. We were able to leave our luggage with them for safekeeping while we went out to look for a dining place. When we came back, we had to wait just a few more minutes but we were glad to come “home” to comfy beds and a cool bedroom. The bathroom was a bit small but water pressure is great. There’s a nice buffet breakfast but I didn’t try it. I only have coffee to get me ready for the day.

Very kind and friendly service and feeling that you matter to them as a guest! Easy to check in and out. Quick service when requested something. Close to the metro/subway. Child friendly and accommodating.

Location was close to the metro and all buses. Wonderful parks nearby. Lots of restaurants and walkable to the old town centre and convenient access to tourist attractions. Terrific service from Hotel Florida staff especially during the electrical shutdown. I would definitely stay there the next time I am in Lisbon.

This hotel is not for tourist stays. Nothing close by and no ADA access. Hotel staff were not friendly and had poor knowledge of hotel and surrounding area. During our 5 day stay never ever greeted or acknowledged when entering or leaving hotel. Even at check-in, quite uninterested and not welcoming. No one explained having to insert key card in slot near door inside to turn on room lights. On several occasions when asking about hotel amenities, like laundry, and area directions the staff was clueless. In fact, they seemed annoyed at being interrupted. Hotel lobby was cold and uncomfortable while we waited for friends and transportation. The rooms were OK, a bit out dated. Bed was hard, pillows super flat. Did not sleep well in 5 days. We had 3 rooms and all were equally uncomfortable. There was no room for luggage. Bathtubs in each room were quite high, even for my husband 5'8". The rest of us, shorties had to be careful in/out of tub. Floors are slippery tile and Bathtub slippery and enclosure leaked water on the floors. One towel mat was always soaked. Definitely not impressed, quite disappointing. The area is business district, lots of homeless closeby. Not recommended! Not worth the price. Lots better hotels in the area at similar prices. Our previous hotel in Nazare was quite the opposite.

Location is excellent. 2 mins walk to blue and yellow metro lines, loads of bus routes nearby also. Restaurants close by, and attractions only a few metro stops away. 25 mins to the airport on the metro. Hotel in a respectable area. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room spacious and had all amenities. Hairdryer was poor but front desk supplied a replacement. Breakfast options varied. The lifts gave some trouble when we were there, meaning we had to occasionally use the service elevator or the stairs which was a bit of a pain.

The area is very good and central. You can walk down the Avenida da Liberdade or get a taxi to the beach.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes, aber renoviertes Hotel in zentraler Lage mit sehr guter Metro- und Busanbindung. Besonders positiv: Auf meine Bitte, mir ein ruhigeres Zimmer zu geben (laute Klimaanlage in engem Hinterhof direkt vor dem Fenster) wurde professionell reagiert und ich bekam sogar ein größeres Zimmer!

A comfortable hotel. Great service. It was my 2nd stay at the hotel. Large room. Good WiFi. Perfect location in a safe and clean location. A major convenience store was located next door to pick up supplies. I’d stay here again

The hotel was comfortable, clean and the room was soacious. The breakfast buffet was tasty, plentiful, varied and suited kids and adults alike. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful- we enjoyed our stay in Lisbon.
