Lovely hotel. Very convenient for Porto city centre. Staff all very helpful. Our only problem was that they were renovating the third floor and we were in the fourth. There was a heavy solvent smell which became very bad on our last day. It was so noxious that we were worried about safety. There were no spare rooms lower down so we moved out and had a refund for the last night.

Lovely hotel in convenient position for train/metro/bus connections. Staff were very nice, friendly and welcoming. We had a double deluxe room which overlooked the pool/courtyard area and was very quiet. Room amenities were excellent, lovely big bathroom with walk in shower. Bed was very comfortable and bed linen was lovely. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Hotel decor was beautiful and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again if in Porto Thank you for a very pleasant stay

Beautiful hotel (mini-Four Seasons) in the middle of the urban chaos. Great location, civilized, updated decor, really enjoyed it. Parking is crazy anywhere in Portugal and Porto is no different. Make hotel aware if you need parking.

A lovely hotel at a great location. We were told in advance that renovations were under way and that we would be given a room far from the noise. However, our room was in the 3 floor, very close to the noise, and work continued on Saturday.

Le standing de l'hôtel n'est pas à la hauteur. Certes, on a portier, liftier, ... mais c'est un EX bel hôtel et même surclassés avec le VIP access, on a dû reformuler 3 fois les mêmes demandes (pour des verres car ils étaient tous sales) et la bouteille de vin censée nous être offerte à notre arrivée. Aucune patère dans la salle de bain, des joints silicone jaunis, des portes de placard qui ne fermaient pas avec les réglettes de lumière qui s'allumaient de façon intempestive, y compris la nuit, aucun respect écologique, même en étendant nos serviettes pour signaler qu'il n'était pas utile de les laver, elles l'étaient qd même. La piscine extérieure est un minuscule bassin non chauffé coincé entre 3 murs, la terrasse en bois est dangereuse (nombreuses lattes cassées, qui s'enfoncent de + de 6 cm (de quoi se faire très mal au pied), des événements organisés 2 jours / les 3 passés, avec musique style techno ou macarena très forte (nous avions prévu d'aller au restaurant de l'hôtel, mais nous avons fui ce bruit), la literie est affaissée. Par contre, la déco et l'architecture sont très belles, le personnel souriant (mais pas forcément bien attentif aux demandes), le petit déjeuner est fantastique.

Elegant hotel with charm, but a few letdowns I stayed at Hospes Infante Sagres Porto for two nights and was captivated by its timeless elegance. It’s clear that a lot of care went into the design, and it really elevates the experience. At check-in, we received a voucher for a welcome drink, which was a nice touch. However, it was limited to rosé only. I would’ve appreciated having a choice—especially at a luxury property where personalization is expected. The room was comfortable and beautifully styled, but the bathroom shower was unfortunately clogged, causing water to pool during use. It was a noticeable inconvenience and not what I’d expect from a five-star hotel. Overall, the ambiance and location are fantastic, and the staff were courteous. With a few improvements in amenities and maintenance, this hotel could truly live up to its luxurious reputation.

The interior of this hotel is very beautiful. The service was first rate. The wait staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Beautiful (small) old time elevator inside. The rooms were very ample sized, spotless and contained all the accessories we needed. The bedding was very comfortable and i wish i could bring those pillows home with me! The shower was a bit smaller than i am used to and felt awkward to use. Inside the hotel was very quiet, but there happened to be a LOT of outside noise and partying outside of the room until 3 or 4 a.m. Decided to buy the buffet breakfast offering and it was well worth it. Big selection of freshly made foods and desserts. Overall, would definitely stay again.

A estadia foi muito boa! Reservamos o quarto luxo, cama otima, isolamento acústico otimo. Pequeno almoço com muitas opções. O Hotel é muito bem localizado e o staff muito atencioso. Beautiful hotel and fairly new but be aware that the walls are very thin. We could hear the conversation next door, in the hallway, the elevator door, as well as the noise from the streets if you have a room facing the street. It is centrally located and very close to the main train station if you're arriving by train. Everything is walkable within Porto.

This is a beautiful property with great service! The view from our room was gorgeous and the room was clean and had everything we needed! The only small complaint I have is that the walls seemed thin for how nice the hotel is. It could have been just because I was in a corner room and maybe the way the walls connected were just thinner than normal. The people next to us also had young children and it seemed they were sick with a persistent cough so it was particularly hard to ignore. I don’t fault the hotel for this but I just note it in case you are a really light sleeper to maybe ask if it’s possible to be in a room that does not have a next door neighbor.

The hotel feels pretty old, and the outlets made charging our stuff a pain. Our room faced a noisy corner, so even with the windows shut, the noise was noticeable. They did provide earplugs and eye masks, which helped a bit.

The minute you walk into this stunning hotel you understand why it is 5 Star!!!! The foyer and rest of the hotel are so gorgeous and elegant I really have never seen a hotel like this before. The rooms were beautiful and the beds so comfortable and had silky sheets. Everyone was kind nd welcoming but I must point out three that really made my stay!!! Marianna and Rita and the tall man who is the door man ( sorry I forget his name) were all exceptional!!!! Each one of them went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and meet all my needs. They were so happy and kind and helpful!!!! I truly hope that I can return one day to your 5 Star Hotel❤️

Check in was unsatisfactory. Our room was occupied by a guest who had arranged a late check out. Instead of the Hotel’s 3:00 pm check in, we had to wait until after 4. Staff tried to accommodate this problem but did not have the courtesy to notify us in advance. Had we known, we would have arranged our valuable vacation day differently.

The hotel staff, room, decor, the elevator, even the air conditioning were all incredible. The doormen and concierges went out of their way to help us with multiple requests. We will not even consider staying elsewhere if we return to Porto!

Outstanding service! Everyone at the hotel was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond during my stay. They even helped me extend for extra days at the same price, which I truly appreciated. The hotel is beautiful and I got some perks like really late check out (4pm). The check in process was very slow though. Took around 10 minutes. Porto is gorgeous and this hotel has the perfect location from where to discover Porto. No gym on site and no collaboration with an external gym

Staff and Room was great. The location is definitely very central and convenient! There are a couple bars around the area so the room was pretty loud at night. That was the only drawback but it was a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed our stay!

We had such high expectations for the hotel, since the majority of reviews were fabulous. But we found a hotel under renovation, with constant noise in our rooms, with poor service and zero attention to detail. Although, the hotel itself and its quarters are fabulous and do transport us back to the golden age, the lack of attentive service and warmth from the staff did impact our overall experience. The most disappointing part was the breakfast, which was pretty limited, with poor selection of fruits, hot dishes and pastries, as well as low quality ingredients - mostly, the coffee, which was self-serviced from machines, which I find unacceptable for a five star hotel. The location is pretty good, though, within a walking distance to the major attractions! However, i wouldn’t stay there again.
