Dingle Benners Hotel

Great location. Central to everything. Parking was convenient. Wonderful breakfast. Nice cozy pub with excellent food. This hotel had lots of old world charm. I would stay here again.

Great location with parking and information on the town and what was going on

No elevator. No air conditioning. Parking lot full because of event at hotel. Bar closed most of evening because of event at hotel. Would have loved to have known all of this before we checked in.

Right at the top of the heart of Dingle - amazing pubs across the street and next door! Limited parking, but if you can snag a spot, it’s super convenient. Place is full of charm and delightful people.

Lovely, charming hotel. We had a beautiful room in the front of the building, and it was still peaceful at night. A good shower. Only warning is there is no elevator and quite a few stairs to get up to our room.

Charming property in the center of Dingle. The staff were all lovely. As with older properties, there was no elevator and we had to carry our suitcases up 1.5 flights of stairs. The only other drawback is that the popular Dingle Pub is across the street and is quite loud until closing time. At closing time, the noise ceased immediately. I imagine some rooms would not be able to hear the pub.

This hotel in the heart of Dingle is a gem. It was so nice having off street parking as this is a busy town in the nice weather! The town itself is charming- if a bit touristy. Everything in Dingle itself is very walkable. We took a tour from the tourist info center around the peninsula, which is a great idea if you want to make sure to see all the stunning scenery! The hotel was comfortable and made to order breakfast was a great touch. Staff were all very accommodating.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The service was excellent and the property itself is very classy. There is a dining room and bar on site which is convenient. The included breakfast was excellent. The location is in walking distance to everything so you don’t need your car. Parking was a bit tight because all the spaces were taken so we had to find something nearby. We were there for a holiday weekend so it was more crowded than usual. It is right across the street from The Dingle Pub which was very convenient.

Good location, but parking is a bit limited. Very busy during high season. Better to visit during shoulder months.

This hotel is excellent in the heart of dingle. Maybe the best shower we have found in a hotel anywhere. There is parking and you can walk to everywhere in the town. We found the best music of our trip across the street at the dingle pub.

Staff were very welcoming. Hotel is so nicely decorated for Christmas. Room very modern, spacious and clean. Bed was so comfy. Can't wait to stay again..

Our rooms were absolutely beautiful and immaculate. I wish we stayed longer! Breakfast, staff and entire hotel was exceptional. We can’t wait to come back!!

The staff were superb—kind and unbelievably helpful. Breakfast included was great. The hotel just needs a significant amount of updating and the room was not the cleanest. For the price, the hotel should update its rooms or else significantly reduce the price.

The Benners hotel is a lovely historic hotel full of charm right in the middle of the action and only a short walk to the waterfront. The room was clean with a comfortable bed, decor was antique which suited the property. The breakfast had plenty of options.

The employee Mike was the best, from checking us in at the front desk to serving us at the bar. We had great conversation with him and he just gives superior service. Can’t wait to come back to Dingle and stay here and to see Mike again.

Very orderly, lovely room. Clean and comfortable. Old-fashioned public spaces, but rooms pleasingly modern. We were 1st offered a room with window onto an air shaft, but they happily changed us to another room with a view over the hills. Would recommend :)

Room was too warm - difficulty sleeping. Had fan but should provide lighter bed coverings.

Hotel is fine. Staff are nice. Pillows are hard as rocks. Location is convenient.

Benners was a wonderful hotel. Great check in. Given room upgrade. Stunning recently renovated bedroom with gorgeous bathroom and shower. Attentive staff. Lovely breakfast with a good choice. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be in central Dingle.

Very nice large room , very walkable to restaurants and shops

Close to everything. Dinner at the hotel restaurant exceeded our expectations! We are there the first night to avoid walking in the rain. We ate there the 2nd night because the 1st night was so good! The only problem was the hotel room was too warm for us, even with the window open and the fan on. It was hard to fall asleep.

Wonderful hotel. No extra power outlets for my CPAP (you’ll have to unplug lamps and deal with overhead lighting connected to the same circuit as the bedside lamp to get a power source anywhere near the bed, but the hotel is otherwise amazing).

We were staying at Benners for three nights - Sat, Sun & Mon. We found the reception staff incredibly helpful and always willing to go the extra mile for us. The restaurant staff were also very professional and extremely personable. However, the quality of food on Sun morning was really poor. There were four of us and we each had to return our food as the poached eggs were like tennis balls, the sausages were burnt and hard and the bacon was barely cooked at all. It was as though some things had been cooked hours before and kept warm in an oven - so very disappointing. Breakfast is such an important part of the day and having travelled extensively in Ireland, this fell really below our expectations. Things were much improved on Mon and Tues so we put it down to a weekend team in the kitchen. But why no grilled tomato or baked beans as part of a full Irish breakfast? They have been included in every other hotel we have stayed in - approx 7 hotels! This experience put us off eating any other meal at Benners. The rooms were clean and well sound proofed. The beds were comfortable but the bathrooms need upgrading to include a walk in shower rather than an over the bath shower head which was fixed and an awful plastic shower curtain that wrapped itself around ones legs. The public spaces had beautiful chandeliers and fresh flowers but the rest of the furnishings all looked a little tired. We drank in the bar on two nights but the canned music was inappropriate and needs a rethink.

The young lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, if I remember correctly, her name was Nife (sp?) She made our stay great with great suggestions for things to see and do. The restaurant staff was equally spectacular and the food was super good! Sara in the restaurant was a delight to talk with and so very helpful!

We lost power during the night and had no service capability in room or hotel and everything was dark, when we left at 9:00am. Breakfast was part of our room price and we got nothing. We never were ever alerted in room by staff or offered to help.

The location was perfect. Within walking distance of everything. The staff was beyond accommodating

This property is lovely but let down by the extremely rude manager who checked us in and argued that we only had one room booked and took great pleasure in worrying us, this is not what you need when you have been travelling all day! She was also rude to a gentleman asking for help before us! This worked out to be a mistake from an another employee, which is was fine and mistakes happen but the the way it was felt with was not acceptable.I feel that this individual ( Breda) lets her team and hotel down as everyone else, food and location were amazing.

Lovely hotel, full of history. Very helpful staff. Nice restaurant for dinner and included hot breakfast. There is no lift for some parts of the building but we were fine carrying our luggage up several flights. We had a rental car, and they have their own lot behind the building. Dingle is a wonderful small town with great live Irish music and good shopping for authentic items. It’s a perfect base for exploring the Dingle Peninsula. We’d stay longer next time, and book Dingle Benner’s Hotel again.

What a lovely hotel. Great location, staff and breakfast. Mike the night manager went above and beyond to take care of us in the evening lounge. Laundry service was fast. We stayed in the remodeled section which was great. We were a group with two rooms and the only thing was room 206 had a lighting issue with the light in the parking lot coming over the curtain in the window at night. We addressed it with the manager and they were aware and very receptive to the feedback. Can’t wait to stay again!!

Perfect location for exploring Dingle. Historic property with a lovely & charming lobby & bar. Convenient parking provided out back. More modern wing extends in the back. Delightful breakfast included. Easy walk to any of the places that feature trad music. Would absolutely stay there again.
