Great location, clean, great staff, updating their rooms (new rooms look great), no AC (or fan) but don't need it, very poor acoustics- can hear everything in other rooms and walking around on floor above room. Overall, a nice place to stay in Dingle

The room was clean and reasonably quiet, no breakfast which was sad. The food festival was on when we arrived so parking was an absolute nightmare as there is no designated hotel parking. Once the food festival cleared out parking was not an issue

Parking is street only and very very limited. There is no ac and no fans. Street extremely loud so with windows open at night it was impossible to sleep. Very tiny rooms. But it was clean. Towels were thread bare. Close to everything and made walking the town easy.

We are so happy with this hotel. Similar to boutique hotel/backpackers hotel. Rooms modern and super clean. Beds comfy and lots of storage. Lobby had eating area and small sitting area. Breakfast was purchase service- oatmeal, yogurts, fruit, juice etc. Staff pleasant and helpful. Would stay again for price and location. Central. A minute from bus stop. We took train and bus from Dublin so unsure about parking.

This property was great. Convenient location to all the shops & restaurants. The rooms looked like they were recently remodeled. The only negative was the lack of parking but that's the same problem for all hotels.

It’s a modern vibe, hotel girl at the desk was super helpful. My room was good. There’s an elevator, which is nice and it’s a great location. It can be a bit noisy when people are coming back from partying on the town in dingle, but that’s to be expected. I don’t think that’s an every night thing I was only there for the one evening. People just having fun and harmless.

The location is perfect. Walkable to everywhere in town. For the price we paid I would have liked to have a fridge in the room and a safe. Parking is where you can find it -there isn’t any dedicated parking. We needed to request a fan for the room as it was quite warm and not the greatest air flow. Overall a great experience but a few things could be improved.

Base Dingle is the perfect place to stay as it’s centered to everything in town! Staff was super friendly and lovely and our room and view were beautiful. Our only complaint would be our sheets and bedding were stained. Cleaned, but stained.

The room was ok and beds comfortable. The bathroom and tea making facilities were pretty disgustingly dirty. Hadn’t been cleaned in a long time!☹️. It was more like a high end hostel with 5 star prices and not clean!!

The hotel is located in a very nice area and is super convenient for walking around. If you’re staying in larger groups/families, the suite style rooms would be great. We unfortunately had a mix up with our room where we were given one that had not been fully cleaned. Turned out it was accidentally marked to clean as if the same guests were coming back, not a full change over. We understand mistakes happen, but it was a bit of a gross experience to walk into. Luckily we figured it out before we got too settled and they were eventually able to find us a new room. The new room was better, but quite a bit smaller and located right next to the elevator. In addition, the drywall around the shower was extremely water damaged and had visible mould on it. Overall, I think this hotel has great potential and is a nice and convenient option when staying in the area. I just think we had a series of unfortunate experiences with our stay.

2 Night Stay - rooms were not cleaned, towels left as requested & after a long day of sightseeing upon our return wet towels still on the bathroom floor. Checked with front desk and they ended up giving us clean towels, replacement coffee & clean mugs.

We were hiking the Dingle Way and planned a rest day in Dingle. We treated ourselves to two nights at Base Accommodation. The location was fantastic! However, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Our shower was so moldy. We told the front desk before we went to walk around for the day. When we returned five hours later our room had not been touched. At all. We spoke to a different woman at reception and she was so accommodating. She showed us four other rooms before we found one with the right number of beds and a cleaner shower. The rest of the hotel was very clean. It just looked like housekeeping kept skipping the showers.

Room was very nice but very hot. At check-in i was told that there was no air conditioning in the rooms. I made a booking for 2 rooms for my friend and myself, and Im the hotels.com VIP member. Come to find out, my friends room had air conditioning as well as a fridge. Mine had neither.

Overall very good experience and I would recommend. However two things worth mentioning - the hotel has no dedicated parking. I had to circle the block several times before a spot close to the hotel opened up. Also it got a bit loud at night when the pubs closed. Closing the windows wasn’t an option as it got stuffy inside when we did so.

I was pleasantly shocked by the size of our room, with two very comfortable queen beds! I expected "basic" accomodations due to the hotel's name, but the room was on the luxurious side. The location in Dingle is perfect. Also, once the daily crowd subsided, parking across the street was available & very convenient.

This hotel was very modern and clean with spacious rooms. Welcoming and helpful receptionist. Great location, right in the town, so the shops, marina, restaurants, and sites are all walkable. Make sure you put the sign on the door if you want your room made up, but they do leave clean towels at the door if you don't. We appreciate this because we prefer people not enter our room. We were there in winter, and found the nights to be quite chilly in the room, so pack warm pjs if you are visiting in the winter, as my little ones both woke up complaining. I think they drop the temperature at night, which is great because it's eco-friendly. Just a warning if you are a light sleeper that we could also hear the people in the rooms above us walking around and moving luggage quite easily, so were awoken a couple of times. Overall, it was quite pricey relative to other places we've stayed, but was a great experience.

A few issues. First, our toilet worked intermittently. We were offered to use the employee bathroom until the next day which was on a different floor and accessed by a code. It was very inconvenient. Secondly, our TV didn’t work correctly and again staff didn’t seem to know what to do or how to fix it. Night time guy was asleep at the desk and somewhat rude. Clean though. Good location.

Comfortable bed, only one chair, no in-room safe or front desk safe available. Seating area outside the room was helpful. Sharon at the front desk was cheerful and helpful, a wealth of knowledge. A real asset, she had to hoover the room. The night gentleman was not any of that, so crabby!

The room was great and the location was good. I had little interaction with staff until we headed on the road and I realized I left behind a small cloth bag with travel books, adapters, and expensive earbuds - which 2 other members of my family watched me put into the bag before leaving the hotel (so I am certain the earbuds were in the bag). I asked the hotel to ship the forgotten bag to my son's residence in Cork and hoped to get the package before leaving Ireland. . It was not until16 days after requesting that the package be returned (when we were long gone from Ireland) the package was shipped. When my son in Cork opened the package a few days later, the earbuds were missing. So not the hotel's fault that I left my belongings behind... and I do appreciate that they shipped the bag. But at the end of the day, I am certain that someone on their staff took the earbuds which I find very disappointing.

The hotel was clean and very convenient to town. There were many shops and restaurants within walking distance. They had a few breakfast items available for sale in the lobby but no hot food. Parking is on the streets around the hotel. We had a large car that was difficult to find a space for. Dingle is a lovely town and we enjoyed the stay and our adventures around the peninsula.

The room was clean and reasonably quiet, no breakfast which was sad. The food festival was on when we arrived so parking was an absolute nightmare as there is no designated hotel parking. Once the food festival cleared out parking was not an issue

The room was clean and modern, the staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurant recommendations too. The location is also very convenient in the heart of Dingle. Parking wasn’t too difficult to find (there’s free street parking available right in front of the hotel and a parking lot around the corner past the roundabout).

Base was very clean and roomy. Located in central Dingle. Only issue for us was no breakfast available which we knew up front but Dingle restaurants don’t open until 9 for breakfast. Not good if you want an early start

This is a hotel without dining facilities but there is great early morning coffee a few minutes away up Green St, Bean in Dingle. The Chart House, Doyles and Land to Sea restaurants are less than 5 minutes walk too. Parking is not easy if you arrive midday but there are parks on the waterfront by the supermarket behind the hotel. Room facilities are good and the shower works well. If you are looking for a more typical hotel I suggest Brennan’s which does have its own bar, restaurant and car parking.

This is a great choice if you are staying in Dingle. The hotel is located in the heart of the city. That meant a little bit of street noise (we stayed on a weekend), but it wasn't too bad. Great little hotel ideally situated in the quaint town of Dingle near the waterfront and walkable to just about all restaurants, pubs, shops and attractions. Comfortable and large beds, great bathrooms with all amenities, friendly and helpful staff and comfortable lounge with a few fresh items for purchase. Only down side was parking nearby was a little challenging, but we lucked out with the lot across the street. Would stay here again and highly recommend!

What a great hotel. It is right down the road from the main street and around the corner from the port. Very clean and modern. The shower was large and the water hot and powerful. We found parking literally around the corner and it was free. No food in the hotel but all options available close by. Great choice

Kudos to Rebekah (not sure if was Rebecca) who was helpful and kind to our family of four. She gave us great advice on lunch and and music. Property is also perfectly located by the bay, a short walk to Main Street and green street. We had a great time and recommend!
