Nice hotel with friendly staff. When we checked in we got a voucher for parking, we asked how long we could park there, the staff said up to 24 hours after taking the ticket. We went into the car park at about 9pm. We went to leave the car park at 11am and we had to pay to get out. When we asked the car park staff they said you are only allowed to stay there until 10am. Be aware of this.

We had a room facing the inner courtyard. So a nice and quiet stay in the middle of the city. Amenities were nice. Nice bar and restaurant on site. Car park less than a 5 minute walk. You may get a better price if you book direct.

Modern hotel, excellent restaurant and bar. Parking at local car park.. 2.50 Euro overnight with hotel discount. ! minute form hotel. Definitely go back.

Our room was impeccably well-maintained each day. Always felt comfortable due to the cleanliness and everything like coffee, tea, free waters, were refilled without question each day. The restaurant in the hotel was exceptionally good and we ended up eating there most days for at least one meal. It was also not very expensive and such good food. The hotel offered a 27Euro parking pass for 7 days. This was very reasonable considering the fact that the parking ramp’s normal cost was 27 Euros per each 24 hours. We enjoyed this parking pass with unlimited, multi-entry parking just a block and a half away. Great experience at the George.

Room was functional. Hotel entrance on busy street, with only set-down spot, which was clearly being used as a parking spot given same car there an hour after we checked in. No onsite parking. Discounted parking access to public shopping centre carpark nearby. Desk staff were friendly and efficient. Didn’t use the restaurant or other facilities. Probably great as a business visitor (no car) hotel

Very clean and tidy hotel. Staff very helpfull and gave me good tips about parking and city life. The safe batteries ran flat causing me to be locked out, but swiftly sorted out by maintenance. I expect the hotel to be top notch as soon as renovations is sorted out!

Nice hotel, only down fall is my room at the front is beside a bar and the noise went on to 12.30 with the bar then had to deal with everyone outside after so maybe ask for a room to the back

The hotel was in a good location and the staff and room was good. The only problem was that there was no air conditioning and so on the 5th floor it was hot in the room. We had to keep the window open, and being on a very busy street it was very loud all night and even with the window open it was never below 78 degrees all night.

Room was clean and in the process of being updated. I am not sure that the AC actually worked but they had two windows and a fan. The hotel was close enough to walk from the train station and to many pubs and cafes.

The room was huge, clean, and luxurious. The only problem I had, which the hotel couldn't help with was girls laughing and talking outside our room at the end of the hallway. We only had 3/4 roll of toilet paper in our room, and the weird one, is no outlets next to the bed, so we could plug in phones or the CPAP machine.

Wasn’t happy about people walking into my room at 6am in the morning and what made it worse was when I went out for breakfast I was unable to enter my room very strange that others had access but I didn’t. Staff was apologetic and extended my checkout time which I didn’t need. Would have been nice if maybe they had comped my breakfast at least Maybe this is how hotels are run in Ireland but doesn’t seem very safe or comfortable to be woken up by strangers in your room and then you are denied access to a room with your belongings well before normal checkout. I think I will ask about this policy at the next place I stay at in Ireland

Our stay at the hotel was fine aside from an encounter with a highly rude staff member at the breakfast service. Only available from 7 am (which is inconvenient for business travel) we asked if it might be possible to take a coffee to go as soon as the service began. The staff member stated "for what" and then turned and walked away from us. This was highly disappointing as we has pre-paid for this service and were unable to use it in advance of an extremely long travel day.

Great location, really nice hotel, but pretty basic rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best out of all the hotels we stayed at in Ireland over the past month - my avocado toast had at least one whole avocado on it, possibly more. Parking is off-site, but an easy walk just around the corner - however we did not find any place to drop off luggage, so we had to make a couple of trips back and forth.
