This hotel is a masterpiece in whimsical decoration! The owner has amassed an enormous collection of sailboats and prow statuary that festoons every where the eye lands. It is a visual feast for the eyes! The breakfast buffet is excellent. Parking is not easy. Our room was quite small. Being located in Old Town is great.

Quite a quaint hotel. Rooms and hotel had a lot of vintage character which is unique. I liked the nautical style theme. Breakfast was quite decent as well. Room upkeep was quite good from the staff. Free access to Nordic wellness gym was a nice touch. Being a vintage style hotel, expect that the rooms will be on the smaller side and that is okay. Condition of the property could have been a little better, however it’s to be expected in a vintage style hotel.

The hotel was very well located, close to the metro station, restaurants, the palace, and great shopping. The hotel provided coffee and tea in the hallway outside the room. While I would've liked to have had a kettle in the room, this was also very nice and I enjoyed fresh coffee every morning. The breakfast downstairs was quite good! Lots of vegan and other healthy options. Also enjoyed the fresh juices and fresh fruit. The hotel has a lift which was very much appreciated! Everyone working there was exceptionally kind and helpful. The room was clean and super comfortable with ample pillows and warm comforter. The shower was very hot!

Victory is a boutique hotel with tons of charm and an outstanding staff that provide a more personalized service than you get at the bigger hotel chains. The breakfast buffet was in the top 5 of all of our travel experience as there was thought behind what was offered. The hotel has two gastronomic restaurants (separate entrances) and a cool bar inside the hotel. The location is right in the heart of Gamla Stan close to many coffee shops, cafes and sites. A memorable stay.

VIP Access is a JOKE Its a cute little hotel in prime location but we had Few problems: Hotel floors/Elevator had a very pungent/unbearable smell of food/meat for whatever reason They charge 100kr for sauna use which is bizarre since paying guests should have access to something as basic as sauna given there is no other amenities in the hotel. They don’t mention this on Expedia. Neither did they mention to me until after I used it. At that point any legit person would simply apologize and make it complimentary instead of back charging. The staff was very friendly except for the gentleman/owner David at the front desk who was pretty unfriendly and outright RUDE. We checked in with 2 kids under 12 and they did not mention about any extra charges. Next day owner asks us to pay for the kids in a very rude tone and says you cannot sneak them in. Really??? Your staff checked us in with all 4 of our passports what part of that means sneak in??? The opposite of hospitality. Don’t recommend.

It was like staying in a museum, loads of wonderful artifacts to admire. Very convenient for the old town, loads of restaurants. Only downside was the bar was small and usually full of diners so virtually impossible to just go for a drink.

We stayed 3 nights at the Victory Hotel. It's like spending the night in a museum with all the nautical antiques and considering its location. The locations is absolutely perfect for enjoying all that the "Old Town" has to offer (e.g., history, architecture, shopping, dining, etc.) Our room was very quiet and safe. What stood out to us was the exceptional staff (shout out to David) and fantastic breakfast buffet! Oh, and they have a great sauna that we used as well!

Excellent stay in Stockholm, right in Old Town ( Gamla Stan). We had a large room , very comfortable king size bed, spacious bathroom, all the toiletries were great quality, organic and eco friendly. There is an Nespresso coffee machine with provided coffee pods. Excellent service, friendly and professional, a lot of excellent suggestions on what to do and places to see. Breakfast was abundant with a large variety of very tasty local items , the restaurant and bar on site has excellent local cuisine ( highly recommended). Truly an awesome stay in beautiful Stockholm. Highly recommend this boutique hotel not only for the quality of their amenities and superb service offered but for the location of it, walking distance to a lot of stores, restaurants and interesting places to see.

The hotel is designed to evoque a ship, and ir is a bit run down. The staff are kind and effective. It does have an EXTRAORDINARY restaurant and a passable breakfast. However, the room was small and not well equipped. More importantly, the room and especially the bathroom were not very clean when we arrived (this got better on latter dates.

I stayed at the Victory Hotel for 5 nights and had a most enjoyable experience. The room was exceptionally clean and housekeeping was wonderful. I especially enjoyed the towel warmers in the bathroom ...Breakfast items were diverse and plentiful and the scrambled eggs and orange juice were delicious. The location was in the heart of Gamla Stan - walkable to many cafes, shopping and the train station. Staff were polite and helpful. Highly recommend Victory Hotel and would stay here again.

The room is incredibly cosy, bed mattress and pillows are very comfortable and everything is very clean. We always stay here when we visit Stockholm every year and it is always a very pleasant experience. Great location in the Old Town and the antiques marine decor feels very fitting.

I selected this hotel based on reviews by other travelers. The hotel was satisfactory and the location was excellent, close to many restaurants and sites. The breakfast was very good. The hotel needs major refurbishment. The carpets were stained, paint was peeling, etc. The room was small as expected in a European hotel, but the shower was VERY poor, extremely small, poor water pressure, and difficult to control temp. Also there was minimum storage; we were unable to actually unpack suitcases because there were no drawers at all, only a free-standing closet with little space. The staff were excellent, always helpful and pleasant. Personally, I would not stay there again because of the condition of the facilities.

Great location in Stockholms old town. The hotel rooms were small and quite poorly lit but very quiet, no noise from the street as the hotel is on a quiet street in an otherwise bustling region of town. The room was beautiful! The hotel is located close the metro so it was an easy walk to and from metro. Convenient location in Old Town- very walkable. The only downside was there was early morning noise from delivery trucks in the street in front of the hotel( we were on street side on first floor) The breakfast was awesome!

Wonderful hotel, we stayed in the small double which was compact but felt plenty big enough. Good supply of tea and coffee, nice comfortable bed, good shower and excellent breakfast. Only downside I can think of is the road noise could be quite loud if you wanted the window open. Overall a great hotel with excellent friendly staff!

From the lobby to the thoughtfully decorated halls and rooms - the Victory was fantastic! The staff is lovely and knowledgeable about the area. I would stay there again 1000 times over.

I liked the atmosphere of this hotel that makes you feel part of the story. Each room has its own characteristics, and the breakfast is very good. The room was small, comfortable and interesting, but without too many amenities (fridge, solid soap, slippers, etc.). As gold members, we were eligible for a room upgrade, early check in, but we did not receive these benefits. The reception staff was not cooperative.

Victory is a boutique hotel with tons of charm and an outstanding staff that provide a more personalized service than you get at the bigger hotel chains. The breakfast buffet was in the top 5 of all of our travel experience as there was thought behind what was offered. The hotel has two gastronomic restaurants (separate entrances) and a cool bar inside the hotel. The location is right in the heart of Gamla Stan close to many coffee shops, cafes and sites. A memorable stay.

VIP Access is a JOKE Its a cute little hotel in prime location but we had Few problems: Hotel floors/Elevator had a very pungent/unbearable smell of food/meat for whatever reason They charge 100kr for sauna use which is bizarre since paying guests should have access to something as basic as sauna given there is no other amenities in the hotel. They don’t mention this on Expedia. Neither did they mention to me until after I used it. At that point any legit person would simply apologize and make it complimentary instead of back charging. The staff was very friendly except for the gentleman/owner David at the front desk who was pretty unfriendly and outright RUDE. We checked in with 2 kids under 12 and they did not mention about any extra charges. Next day owner asks us to pay for the kids in a very rude tone and says you cannot sneak them in. Really??? Your staff checked us in with all 4 of our passports what part of that means sneak in??? The opposite of hospitality. Don’t recommend.

When I arrived at the hotel in the morning, I got sick because I couldn't sleep in the airplane for 15 hours due to an infant keeping crying all the time. However, thanks to the kindness of the staff at the front desk, I could take a rest at the bar. Soon, they prepared the room. I really appreciate their job. Otherwise, I would have fallen ill seriously. Thank you very much for the consideration.

This hotel is a masterpiece in whimsical decoration! The owner has amassed an enormous collection of sailboats and prow statuary that festoons every where the eye lands. It is a visual feast for the eyes! The breakfast buffet is excellent. Parking is not easy. Our room was quite small. Being located in Old Town is great.

Victory Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel located in Gamla Stan, the old area of Stockholm that is filled with shops and restaurants and is well located for exploring the rest of the city. Our room was lovely, with a good size bathroom and very comfortable beds. The included breakfast was nice, with hot and cold choices available. Staff was very helpful in making our stay pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfectly located in Old Town (Gamla Stan) which allows to easily walk to everything. The breakfast was fresh and delicious everyday. This beautiful historic hotel is in the heart of the old town. It is also a sort of maritime museum where each room includes artifacts from a specific ship captain. The staff are very helpful. I highly recommend eating in their restaurant, one of the best meals I’ve had in Europe (after dozens of trips)

The hotel was very well located, close to the metro station, restaurants, the palace, and great shopping. The hotel provided coffee and tea in the hallway outside the room. While I would've liked to have had a kettle in the room, this was also very nice and I enjoyed fresh coffee every morning. The breakfast downstairs was quite good! Lots of vegan and other healthy options. Also enjoyed the fresh juices and fresh fruit. The hotel has a lift which was very much appreciated! Everyone working there was exceptionally kind and helpful. The room was clean and super comfortable with ample pillows and warm comforter. The shower was very hot!

This hotel looks like a museum! Beautiful collection! Our room was very romantic, and hotel located in the best area of Gamla Stan. The breakfast had a good variety and healthy juices made irg muscat, cardamom and ginger, very delicious. The breakfast room is located downstairs with no windows. It was a bit too cold in the morning when having breakfast. But this was the only complain we had.

Excellent property to stay at in Stockholm's Old Town. Just 2 blocks from the Metro, within a few minutes of many restaurants, tourist areas, souvenir shopping. Also had an excellent breakfast with hot and cold items like pancakes, delicious bacon, eggs, coffee and juice, pastries, bread, sliced meats/cheese, yogurts... one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had over the years.

There is an Nespresso coffee machine with provided coffee pods. Excellent service, friendly and professional, a lot of excellent suggestions on what to do and places to see. Breakfast was abundant with a large variety of very tasty local items , the restaurant and bar on site has excellent local cuisine ( highly recommended). Truly an awesome stay in beautiful Stockholm. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was very dim, maybe because the building is centuries old. Very obliging staff and the hotel conveniently located, easy walking distance to most places. The breakfast was tasty and there was a good selection to choose from.
