As far as airport hotels go, this hotel was very nice. Beautiful grounds, nice pool (although unheated), clean and comfortable room, and a great breakfast. There is an on-site restaurant but we were unable to eat there because we were not informed by the front desk that we needed to make a reservation. In fact, the front desk was not very helpful at all in terms of providing information about the facility (we had to come back to the desk twice to figure out how to turn on the lighting panel for the room and to access parking). We had to eat dinner at a nearby pub with bad food (it was the only place open within walking distance). Other than poor service at the front desk, the hotel was great for a one-night stay prior to catching a flight.

Wedding taking place rendering pool and other amenities unusable. It would have been nice to receive courtesy notice of the event to allow for change in properties for our stay. Lunch service could have been improved, with service efficiency, room was lovely but again, with wedding event, we could not enjoy a stroll through the property or use of pool.

For sure, the nicest hotel. I have experienced close to the airport. Sat around a very nice oasis in the centre of the property, including a small pool. Excellent Jim. Very nice dining facility and great breakfast. Friendly staff. In my mind worth the hundred dollars more per night compared to the best Western. Did not get the nicest room booking through Expedia.

The hotel is clean and very well maintained. It is a bit isolated with few food options, but overall excellent. * Close to the airport (about 10 min by car) with well-organized shuttles to/from Fiumicino (7 EUR per person). * Rooms are clean, with fair air conditioning. Quiet, with very comfortable beds, perfect for resting after a long flight. * Breakfast is rich and varied. From 6 to 10 am. Excellent service from the morning staff. * Internet is weak, often disconnects, and not secure – use a VPN. * The hotel has a large, very clean pool (10 am-7 pm, towels 3 EUR rent ), and beautiful garden, with a bar and tables for relaxation. *The restaurant is clean. The food is good, but service is below expectations. You need a reservation, but the host doesn’t speak English. After being seated, you may wait before a waiter comes. After finishing your meal, the empty plates remain on the table and nobody clears them. Strange, because the waiters were standing in a group almost next to us, chatting happily. Prices are between 18–28 EUR per dish. Water is NOT free. Payment is only at the host’s desk, where they quickly place a small tip jar in front of you to remind you to leave a tip, even though you only saw your waiter twice the whole evening. * Nearby (18 min walk), supermarket Todis offers much cheaper options: small prosecco 2 EUR, chips 1.30–1.80 EUR, cheeses and salami 2–3 EUR, chocolates and sweets under 3 EUR.

C’est la première fois que je séjourne dans cet hôtel, et pourtant je voyage énormément, notamment à Rome, que je connais très bien. Honnêtement, cet établissement m’a vraiment impressionné. Dès l’arrivée, on ressent une atmosphère paisible et apaisante. La propreté est irréprochable, tout est fait dans le moindre détail. La décoration de Noël, spectaculaire et surdimensionnée, apporte une vraie magie et montre le soin apporté à chaque espace. La chambre est ultra fonctionnelle, de dernière génération, avec tout ce qu’il faut pour un séjour confortable et moderne. Rien n’est laissé au hasard. Le personnel est exceptionnel : ultra gentil, souriant, disponible et très professionnel. On se sent réellement bien accueilli. L’hôtel est idéalement situé, à proximité de tout, ce qui le rend extrêmement pratique. Le parking est vaste, un vrai plus, tout comme la navette, très bien organisée. Mention spéciale pour les équipements : • une salle de sport moderne et parfaitement fonctionnelle (ce qui est rare dans les hôtels), • une piscine exceptionnelle, • des espaces communs impeccables. Je mets rarement des avis aussi élogieux, mais là je suis sincèrement émerveillé. C’est sans aucun doute l’une de mes plus belles expériences hôtelières. Reception staff is excellent - friendly, multilingual, professional, attentive, and helpful. Hotel grounds are beautiful & pool is added bonus. Rooms are super clean & pretty spacious. The hotel offers breakfast and onsite parking which is great. Ten minute drive to the airport. This was our second stay here.

Overall the Hotel Isola was a good experience. Hotel was clean, staff polite, food good, outside area was nice. Would definitely recommend one of the rooms with a balcony. Our first night we did a standard room and felt like I was in a motel. When we upgraded to a room with a balcony, it was way better.

The room was very basic. Did not have a coffee maker which for this kind of hotel is an absolute must. Only one tiny elevator which created a jam in the morning when you have to go to the airport. Better plan 15 min more. The outdoor premises were very nice.

Hotel was gorgeous! Obviously the property has gotten a facelift which seems to be continuing. Pool and outside area was absolutely gorgeous with everything very well maintained. Grounds were immaculate! Such a beautiful place. Our room was updated to a modern vibe and was very very clean. We had view of the street. Room was relatively quiet other than hearing people next door and coming off the elevator. The only downside was the terribly uncomfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely with a very large selection of everything you could want! Staff were amazing - so helpful and kind. We would definitely stay again but would probably ask for twin beds in hopes of a a better sleep.

The room was ok, equipped with a small fridge, a bit cramped and there is no chair, only a small stool. Boring with plastic cups in the room, gives a cheap feeling. Bathroom spacious and ok. The breakfast was good with a large assortment of what you would expect, better than normal. Nice garden with pool that I could not use because the season was over.

This is an excellent property for the price if you need to stay close to the Rome airport. The facilities are excellent, the gym was nice (not large but it had the essentials all in good shape), and the breakfast was nice. My only issue is that the rooms are not sound proof so I listened to someone snooze their morning alarm several times early AM. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

Booked this property for airport shuttle only to find out not operating due to holiday. We were stranded at airport and had to wait in taxi line for over 1/2 hour and pay 35 euros to hotel. Was told by hotel expedia notified me which they DIDN'T. Went through old emails to verify. Hotel is in hospitality busuness and I should have been notified when I booked last September!!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

Renato, Angelo and the shuttle driver were incredible! Our daughter lost her phone. The staff were extremely helpful in trying to help us find out where the phone was. They were calling the taxi company to try and locate the driver. We can’t thank them enough.

Convenient to have airport shuttle to an above average property with welcoming staff. Not an interesting location for exploration- but perfect for short stay. Although the hotel provides a You Tube video about location of the shuttle, they failed to say that it's only in Terminal 3, so if you land in Terminal 1, you need to walk to 3 to find it.

This was an island with few options to get to Rome - we spent 70 euro going to and 100 euro returning to the property to see a few sites and dinner. The property also does not provide complimentary shuttle to airport so we spent more to get places than the room! Other than this the property was a pleasant surprise was really well done and breakfast was wonderful. If you are thinking this is a place to stay for anything besides going to the airport - then think again.
