The room was very very basic (almost like a hostel), and cost a small fortune for one night. The bathroom was disgusting-smelled like mold with fixtures tarnished. The A/C doesn’t really work. The bed was uncomfortable. The side table next to the bed was sticky 😳. Don’t do it unless you have to!!

Very convenient since we came in on a late flight and needed to be back at Rome airport the next day. Wished they had kept their food lounge open for at least snacks. We did find a food court near enough and some of the vendors were still open.

Stayed here for 1 night prior to a morning flight. Room was comfortable and clean with good amenities. On-site restaurant was not available. A/C was not adjustable in the room—had to call front desk to have it changed. No ice was available anywhere at the hotel, including in the kitchen and lounge, and refrigerator in room had no freezer so it was impossible to safely store my insulin or to refereeze my insulin keeper’s ice. Nice staff, but very busy.

So this is IN the airport, like physically attached to the terminals. Which is wonderful if you have a red eye or early morning flight and need a clean place to sleep and shower for a short period of time. It has a good lounge space to do work as well. It just isn't really a hotel to hang out in and out feels like you're on a space station a bit😆. But very clean and safe

We chose this hotel for convenience. We had an early morning flight and we didn’t want any early morning hassles. It’s even more convenient than imagined. As soon as you walk out of the hotel entrance you can see the walkways and conveyer belts leading you to check-in. We took a train to downtown Rome the day before. This is also basically connected to the Airport. The place is clean, has breakfast (we left too early to try) and unbelievably convenient. It is also fairly basic. So location is its biggest advantage.

Disappointed that hotel did not respond to messages sent. Hotel would not store our suitcases another major disappointment. Costing us time and money to store in airport baggage hold. Room spacious and comfortable but noisy. Would not return unfortunately.

One books this due to anxiety about an early flight. Just don’t buy into this. There are plenty of properties nearby that caters exactly for this with a reliable shuttle or taxi service. And they probably have a bar/ restaurant open, which this one did not at 9:30pm. We were only at the property for less than 7 hours before heading out on a 28 hour door to door travel. As you could imagine a shower would be nice, or at least expected, given the $300+ price. It completely flooded the whole bathroom in seconds. Staff was somewhat helpful, but admitted that at 10pm they could not do much. They offered a complementary breakfast, but we were heading out at 4:30am. Took a 30sec rinse, soap rinse, near flood type of shower. Not worth it. Don’t worry, just book somewhere way nicer instead. You’ll make your flight just fine, like all the other passengers on your 7am Transatlantic flight.

If leave from the Rome airport, this is a perfect one night place. Connected through two walkways to both terminals 1 & 3. Plus all the eateries. The hotel also has a good kitchen in house.

What a disappointment for the price. 343 EUR for the night. Bathroom tile was discolored and molded. The faucet fixture had the chrome worn off. The AC could not be adjusted. There was a big circular stain on the comforter. Disgusting. It has a great location but the room (110) was tired, old and not worth half the price.

The shower did not appear to be clean so we did not use it. There was also a hair in the bed - which my wife found quite troubling. Also, the front desk person told us there was an Eataly in FCO we could go to for dinner. However, it’s after security and we obviously were spending the night and flying out in the morning at which time we would go through security. So not exactly an optimal dinner recommendation.

I was expecting more. Check in was simple but language barrier was apparent. The room was ok but showing signs of wear. Particularly in bathroom. Grout and mold issues as well as No shower door. When showering in early morning before catching flight realized hey there is no door to close. Flooded whole bathroom even on low water flow just to get a quick rinse. No time to run to another room or shower in separate area. Breakfast not included with such high price for room really not acceptable given meager continental breakfast offered for price. Staff were apologetic but offered no solution or options. Not my choice next time even tho convenience of proximity to terminal.

We booked a night because we had an early flight the next morning. The reception area was clean and wide. Our room was in the basement - it was cold and damp. The washroom had black mold on it - so much so, I didn't shower. While the bed was comfortable, the humidity in the room made it feel wet. Would not return.

The hotel was dirty and run down, especially considering the exorbitant price. The toilet was sealed as if it had been clean but it had unflushed urine inside. The safe was not working and the staff wasn't able to help. In general, the whole property had a very bad smell.

Disgusting room. Dirty and tattered. Crazy to be charging over £200 a night even if it's for convenience. Stay in the Hilton Garden airport instead. It's a slightly longer walk and it's not perfect but at least it's clean.

Our room was clean quiet and comfortable. The only thing is that the bathroom sink needed to be cleared out since it didn’t drain properly. But the beds were comfy. We got much needed rest.

Location was perfect for an early morning flight. Check in/out was easy. The room was so hot so everyone had trouble sleeping. The hallway was cooler. You couldn’t really control the air conditioning. It was locked that you couldn’t put it below 25 C and it kept randomly turning off in the middle of the night. We physically had to get up to turn it back on. I don’t mind them locking temp but maybe at 21/22?

Das Zimmer war eiskalt, die Klimaanlage konnte nicht betätigt werden und als Heizung genutzt werden. Da die Außentemperatur nur 10° betrug, hätten wir gerne ein wärmeres Zimmer gehabt. Ebenso war das Badezimmer eiskalt. Und die Lüftung lief die ganze Nacht. Sie war nicht abzustellen. Das ganze Zimmer hatte den Charme eines Altenheims oder eines Krankenhauszimmers. Wir hatten das Zimmer 001, ein so genanntes behindertengerechtes Zimmer. Es war wirklich scheußlich. Hervor zuheben ist dass es schon einigermaßen sauber war. Und auch das Bett war ganz bequem. Wenn es auch nur 1,20 m war, was man allerdings nirgendswo in der Beschreibung gesehen hat. Außerdem hatte ich zwei Einzelbetten bestellt aber weil wir so spät eingecheckt haben, war kein anderes Zimmer mehr frei. Das Hotel war ausgebucht es liegt sehr günstig direkt im Flughafen aber mit 300 € für eine Nacht ohne Frühstück ist es auch nicht gerade billig. Dafür gab es noch Hotelschlappen eine Zahnbürste und Zahnpasta. Das Zimmer hat einen Wasserkocher und es gab in der Früh löslichen Kaffee mit Milch. der Herr an der Rezeption brachte mir dann noch eine zusätzliche Decke, weil ich es nicht leiden kann, wenn ich mir mit jemand die Bettdecke teilen muss.

The place in general is very white and stale. We stayed on the first floor (ground level) and it’s a round white floor with nothing on the walls, gives mental hospital vibes. The windows shades in the room have major gaps, and it faced a lighted walkway outside. If you’re looking for a solid night sleep at the airport prior to a 10 hour flight, it might not be a good option for you. If you’re looking to rest for a few hours, I would recommend. The lobby had a good assortment of food and drinks at a reasonable price. We will try the Hilton, also onsite, next time.

Con:The power outlet by the bed didn't work. The shower hot water went back and forth from hot to cold repeatedly. The reservation did not provide a selection between two twin beds vs one queen. The walls were all plain solid white with no decor at all. Pro: Otherwise, the bed was quiet, the room had a quiet white noise, which was good. I couldn't hear anything outside the room.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is in the airport and close to departures. We had an early flight so it was convenient in that way. Everything else was subpar for the price. Shower didn’t drain, shades didn’t keep out the light and the bed was poor.

The accomodation is located basically inside the airport which makes it easily accessible. A/C was strong, but impossible to manage yourself as it seems it is controlled centrally. It was therefor very cold in the room (17 degrees) and could only be entirely turned off. Not ideal. Food was fine, nothing special. Overall a fairly good accomodating for one night while waiting for the next flight.

The guy at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude. When we arrived it was 2am and he had been smoking as lobby area was full of smoke when I ask him about the smoke he was very rude and defensive. The air didn’t work in the room I called 3 times it was so hot we left after 2 hours.

This hotel offers very basic amenities, considering the price. I paid $280 per day. We booked this hotel by the airport for an early morning flight and very limited and cold breakfast spread for the paid price. I reserved 1 room including breakfast and had a receipt to prove it. I received confirmation from the lady at the reception desk when check-in. Next morning, a man at the reception desk told me to pay for the breakfast again as he could not find the record showing the payment. After 10 minutes of arguing with him, we were only people at the time. This man told me to eat breakfast for free as GIFT. This man treated me as a person trying to get a free breakfast! After I proved the receipt, he ignored me and did not apologize for his mistake. He treated me unprofessionally and rudely as I am an aged Asian woman. This man should not work at the reception desk.

The hotel was very hard to find. The taxi driver had a hard time finding the hotel and when he did he told us to get out and walk behind his car. It would have been helpful to have more/better signage that indicated how to get to the hotel. Once we were inside the airport, we asked security how to get to the hotel and they didn't know. It was very frustrating especially since we were tired from flying all day. The hotel staff could have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful/useful. We were charged 1 euro per page to get our airline boarding documents printed, which we didn't mind paying but the person made us feel that we were a bother to them. Given the price for 1 night's stay, we do not plan on staying at this property again.

They put me in a room that hadn't been cleaned from the prior person. Then they switched me to a room with no safe and the TV and Wifi not connected. Then they switched me back to the first room and left me standing there with my stuff locked in the last room. The constant sound of doors opening then slamming persisted throughout the night. People don't seem to know how to simply close a door.

I was totally amazed by the staff. Traveling alone and I had more luggage than I could carry. The front desk staff took my things to my room. I felt very overwhelmed upon arrival and the staff eased my stress and anxiety. I’m truly grateful for the courtesy.

V basic room for the money. I guess they can charge what they like due to the captive audience. I asked for a wake up call and didn’t get one - not good as people have flights to catch. Lady on reception in the morning was friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay if you have an early flight. My daughter's flight was at 6 am and mine was at 12pm. 5 min walk inside the sky bridge and got her to check in. Went back to bed after. Clean, comfortable beds.

Very convenient and functional hotel for our brief stay to catch an early flight out of FCO. Sky bridges with moving walkways connect the hotel with the car rental garages as well as directly with terminals 1 and 3 (there is no terminal 2). It was a less than 5 minute walk to either terminal. The free push-carts kindly offered by FCO airport, make luggage movement simple. The hotel has a good buffet breakfast included with the room with a small upcharge for extras like eggs. The room was simple, clean, and quiet. No frills but perfectly functional for the purpose of easy and stress-free FCO access.

We had an early morning flight out of Rome and were concerned about getting to the terminal early so that we could take care of checking luggage and getting Customs VAT refund in plenty of time for our flight. Additionally, we were returning a rental car at the airport the evening before leaving Rome. Staying at Hello Sky was PERFECT! The walk from car rental return to the hotel was all indoors and took just 2 minutes. Additionally, it’s just a 3-minute walk from the hotel to the terminal, all indoors and all signage clearly marked. We checked into our clean, quiet and safe hotel room and then did a “trial run” to the terminal to understand what we’d need to do in the morning. Having all this knowledge under our belts, we were able to sleep well in a quiet room with a comfortable bed, take a refreshing hot shower in the morning, and make our way to the terminal early enough to eliminate all stress. I had read a few negative reviews before booking at Hello Sky, and I’m so pleased to say that my experience was STELLAR and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

If you're flying out of the Rome airport and need a place to sleep, this place can't be beat. It's extremely convenient, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The continental breakfast is fine, and you can walk around the airport shopping at all hours. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for 1 night prior to a morning flight. Room was comfortable and clean with good amenities. On-site restaurant was not available. A/C was not adjustable in the room—had to call front desk to have it changed. No ice was available anywhere at the hotel, including in the kitchen and lounge, and refrigerator in room had no freezer so it was impossible to safely store my insulin or to refereeze my insulin keeper’s ice. Nice staff, but very busy.

LOVE this Hello Sky Hotel Room here at Rome Fiumicino Airport! It is an excellent choice for an overnight stay! The agent at reception was so wonderful & kind to us when we checked in. Our double room with a queen bed was super comfortable for a good night’s rest after long haul flights traveling from Hawaii to Italy! And the convenience & location is incredible! All we had to do was walk from baggage claim in terminal 3 to get to this hotel. Took less than 5 minutes. This is a wonderful hotel and well worth the price we paid. We will definitely stay here again when we’re back in Rome! Oh and we had the most delicious marguerita pizza at Rosso Pomodoro in Terminal 1, just a couple minutes walk from the Hello Sky Hotel! For the dining options alone (even the hotel offers food at great prices!), we made the right choice to book this hotel.

One books this due to anxiety about an early flight. Just don’t buy into this. There are plenty of properties nearby that caters exactly for this with a reliable shuttle or taxi service. And they probably have a bar/ restaurant open, which this one did not at 9:30pm. We were only at the property for less than 7 hours before heading out on a 28 hour door to door travel. As you could imagine a shower would be nice, or at least expected, given the $300+ price. It completely flooded the whole bathroom in seconds. Staff was somewhat helpful, but admitted that at 10pm they could not do much. They offered a complementary breakfast, but we were heading out at 4:30am. Took a 30sec rinse, soap rinse, near flood type of shower. Not worth it. Don’t worry, just book somewhere way nicer instead. You’ll make your flight just fine, like all the other passengers on your 7am Transatlantic flight.

The only bad thing was there wasn’t a good place to get dinner. Many of the airport restaurants are located past security. The dinner that we had was not good.

For what it is, an airport layover hotel, it was perfect. Close to the terminal, one minute walk, clean, pleasant, helpful staff. Light continental breakfast. Exactly what one wants, and better than many airport hotels. I will definitely stay here again.
