Nice Centre Hotel

We did not use the restaurant or have breakfast. Check in and out was easy and quick. Room although small was sufficient for a few nights accommodation. Easy walk to all areas of Nice.

Not the best service

Great location. Great hotel and one of the nicest rooms of our 28 night trip through France. Exactly what we expected from a Marriott hotel. But... as nice as the hotel and the room were, the bed was the hardest bed I have had in over 150+ hotel nights in the last few years... like sleeping on a carpeted floor. As an older traveler and side sleeper, I rate the bed as a 1 out of 5. Very odd for a Marriott.

Rooms were very basic and ‘unloved’ I.e cheap fittings etc. rooftop bar wax plastic and cheap in decor. Lobby was stark and uninviting. Breakfast was excellent

Perfect room and location was brilliant. Breakfast was very good, and hotel clean. Only downside was when we arrived we were charged €150 for three people, we was told this was to cover incase anything was charged to the room from the restaurant or the bar. We had no intentions of doing this but still had to put this down as a deposit and it wasn’t listed in the fees when we booked so was an unexpected cost which wasn’t factored in. Yes it was returned upon checkout but took a chunk of budget out of the holiday spending which we didn’t factor in or cover to transfer extra over into euros from sterling.
