Malmaison Hotels in the UK are excellent and it was the name that attracted me to this hotel, however, this is a mid-range hotel which would benefit from some upgrading. The location was good being only a short walk to the promenade in a straight line and the same to the Train station but in the opposite direction. The light railway stops close by. There is no restaurant but the receptionist recommended a bistro close by which was excellent. If your budget can stand it there is a gastronomic restaurant on the ground floor. Breakfast is extra but was very good with a good selection of hot and cold items and a coffee machine where you could choose whatever you wanted. There is a flight of stairs to the reception so not great for disabled people. The room we had was large with a balcony and smart tv with free Netflix and movies. A special mention to the blond lady in reception who was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in organising our transfer to Cannes airport (sorry I can't remember her name).

Sylive, one of your hosts was fantastic! She was charming, welcoming and helpful. She offered use of the lounge, was well-informed about the football matches and was attentive to us at the bar. She should mentor some of your other hosts who were not up to the same standard. As far as an idea for improvement, the carpeting on 2nd floor and in my room (21) was quite tired and below the standard of the rest of the hotel - time for replacement I think.

Staff made it efficient and easy for us to check in earlier than the usual time and leave our bags so we could go for a wander on the beach. For money to value ratio in the central Nice area I thought the room was excellent, we upgraded to a deluxe room and it was spacious, with a large balcony and a jacuzzi bath. All staff, and in particular reception staff were really friendly and helpful making it a joy to stay at La Malmaison. We didn’t try the breakfast but I’m sure that it’s nice too. Only thing that could be upgraded (but wasn’t a huge issue) was the lift, there was only 1 and it was fairly slow. Also our key cards stopped working a few times and we had to get them changed, but the staff were very accommodating with this.

Everything was very good, areas for improvement are the need for disabled entrance, snacks at the bar more wine choice, and more flexibility with providing heating in colder spring weathèr. The staff are all charming . The breakfasts are good.

We stayed at La Malmaison for 4 nights in August. We opted for the premium room with a terrace and the view was lovely. There were a couple of chairs and a small terrace where we could sip wine and enjoy the sunset every evening. I would recommend the hotel removes the carpet in the rooms as they were slightly stained. There was also some black mould in the bathroom shower. Other than that, we were happy! Breakfast was also yummy.

Very clean and beautiful boutique hotel. Recently renovated. We booked 2 executive rooms. They varied a bit in size and layout but were decent in size, and balcony views were amazing. Pleasant and very helpful staff. Breakfast was very good as well. We loved the location. Close walk to all the touristy places but located in a pretty quiet neighborhood. No crazy crowds or loud noises beyond what is expected from a city. Staff speaks multiple languages, so there was no issue communicating.

For the price, this was a very disappointing stay. The bed was uncomfortable, the room was very small, the common areas are dirty and smelly, but what really took the cake is the fact that when we were going to bed, we saw that the linens were stained with blood. So we went to the desk, only to be given the wrong size linens. Suffice to say, at this price, you do not expect to have to do your own bed at midnight, nor to have to return to the desk twice to do so. At checkout, the employee was dismissive and did not seek to understand why we were dissatisfied with our stay. We also reached out to the hotel after our stay and they never acknowledged or responded to our comments.

Absolutely loved our 3-night stay at Hotel Le Soleia by Inwoods in Nice! Gorgeous décor, comfy room, and coffee/tea in-room were such nice touches. Sylvie at the front desk made our trip—she gave us city tips, a map, and top-notch service. Perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood but still central. A true 5-star experience!

Nice hotel, very nice decoration. 15min walk from the central train station and also 15 minutes plus 10 minutes walk on the airport tram so very easy. The breakfast is also pretty good in a nice dining room. Stuff very nice. The only complaint is the room is very very small from American standards. Still love the hotel.

Stayed in Superior Room on 4th Floor with Balcony overlooking Street, sun on Balcony all day. Staff were very helpful and friendly, As Hotel had recently been fully refurbished condition was excellent and well maintained.

Great location. 10 minute walk to the sea and Promenade de Anglais. Large and spacious rooms for Europe standards. Most friendly staff at the front desk I experienced in my entire trip. Everyone was very helpful.

The Hotel was a very cute and lovely 4 star boutique hotel. Very well prepared and presented for their guests and the staff were excellent. I stayed in Very comfortable superior room with a large king comfortable bed for a solo traveller and the bathroom was very good, with an excellent good shower. The staff working over my 3 day stay were Excellent, very hospitable and helpful and I felt very welcome during my trip. One of the receptionists in particular was amazing, giving me very good advice about the area of Nice area and South of France in general. Including some nice places to add to my itinerary. She also gave me some very good tips on where to eat some good French cuisine and seafood. Her name is Stacey and her customer care and service was magnificent from check in to check out! I definitely would return to this hotel .

I loved the staff especially Luis and the ladies at the front desk. They were so professional and friendly. This was our first time in Nice and this hotel was in the most perfect location from everything. My daughter, 21 years old stayed on by herself for 2 more days was well taken cared of by the staff. I will definitely come back to Le Soleia by Inwood in Nice again. Such a memorable vacation. Thank you everyone who took care of us. God bless you.

The service at the hotel was outstanding. Sylvie helped me arrange transfers before my stay via email and it was so helpful. She was also very welcoming when I arrived. The service from all of the staff was great. The location of the hotel is central and walkable. Not directly on the water which was my preference. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood. The common areas such as hallways could use a little sprucing up but otherwise, a very nice place to stay.

Great hotel made even better by fantastic staff . The location is superb turn left 500m you're at the seafront and all it has to offer , turn right out of the hotel door and 500m later your at the railway station and off away for great day trips . The neighbourhood the hotel is located in is super safe with great bistros and coffee shops ....really you could not ask for more a great place to stay and explore .

10 mins walking to the main area, 10 to the train station, 10 to the beach and 3 to the tram, BUT in a safe and quiet neighbourhood that’s much more peaceful than the hustle and bustle of the old town. Would definitely return!

Hotel is in a good location, less than 10 minute walk to the Prom & places to eat...the tram station is only 3 minute walk to connect to Airport. Akim & Sylvie were both very welcoming and helpful... be careful about the complimentary drink though, it is only free if you don't get your room serviced during your stay...breakfast was a bit of a mess as the scrambled eggs & bacon never came out together, so one went cold waiting for the other...I would still recommend this hotel for its location & staff

La Malmaison is a lovely hotel within quick walking distance to the beach promenade and old town. The hotel staff were all lovely. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is well worth it. Highly recommend.

The hotel has a perfect location and close to both the beach, city center and central station. The staff is super friendly and the highlight is the breakfast. Totally fresh and delicious and managed by Madame Sestilia, who takes pride in keeping everything fresh and clean.
