Man glaubt, es gäbe einen Wellnessbereich, aber der besteht aus einem winzigen Pool, die Sauna nur auf Vorbestellung, max. eine Stunde und für vier Personen. Man glaubt, es gäbe eine Terrasse im Restaurant. Man reserviert dort, aber die Terrasse ist nie offen, selbst bei bestem Wetter. Der Service im Restaurant ist völlig insuffizient, begriffsstutzig und unwillig. Eine echte Katastrophe.

Across the road from the William Gate, entry point to Dijon’s pedestrianised historic city centre (granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 2020). Therefore a near perfect location. Station is a short walk. We had room number 115 right on the triangular corner, which was light and spacious: not sure which room category it was but well worth it. Valet parking in their car park (15EUR/day extra) is a big plus point (set satnav for 13 Rue Devosge for car park entrance). Good and substantial buffet breakfast. Highly recommended. Only minor gripe was no shower curtain in our room (not missing, just not designed in).

This hotel is very centrally located. Beautifully appointed. Spa was very hard to find. As a result we were wandering the hotel in bathrobes and were late. Reservations are required to use the pool/spa but the location is not made clear. Better signage/communication would be helpful.

Accueil excellent et personnel au petit soin en général. Petit plus pour l'heure offerte au bassin du SPA par personne (même si j'aurais bien aimé que ce soit par jour réservé mais je comprends les soucis de logistique) : à faire absolument pour l'emplacement dans les caveaux comme le bassin et l'équipement ! Petit-déjeuner express copieux avec ensemble viennoiseries, boisson chaude et jus d'orange, à prix vraiment correct par rapport au lieu. A côté de la gare et du centre-ville de Dijon, très pratique. Lit spacieux et très bonne literie : mon mari qui a souvent du mal à dormir dans les hôtels du fait de sa taille a très bien dormi. Petit bémol pour moi par contre, les moindres mouvements de celui-ci se répercutaient de mon côté et me réveillaient toute la nuit (pas habituée à dormir en lit double, peut-être lié à ça). Dommage qu’il n’y avait plus de place au spa, et que on pouvait pas aller un peu dans la piscine pour 5 étoiles. Dommage manque de personnel au petit déjeuner du dimanche matin.

Very impressed with the hotel overall. Beautiful property. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was courteous and helpful when asked directions to our tours meeting point. We ended each night with a cocktail at the bar next to the lobby. Will definitely definitely stay here again when we visit again.

Slept great, room was spacious but unfortunately really dusty so every time you moved a dust cloud appeared. On arrival there was vomit in the private car parks entrance & lift, I told the hotel. The next morning when we came to leave there was still vomit in the lift. You don’t expect that from an up market establishment, in fact you don’t expect it from any establishment.

Overall a good property. The room has good amenities. But the room was extremely small. There was barely any space to move around, because the bed occupied most of the area. Also, the room we were in, had a black painted wall on one side and it was filthy dirty. Since it was next to the bed (and imagine the small size of the room), it was a gross feeling.

This is a nice hotel but not a 5 star. There is really old carpet in the hallways and the carpeting in the bedroom was aging as well and did not feel clean because it was shag carpeting. Disappointed for the price we paid!

I had a filthy dirty bed to climb into. I got to change the bed at 1 am. They sent a boy up who couldn't make a bed! Then the next day housekeeping didn't even remake it. I spoke with the management and they assured me they would credit me 1 night. They would stay in touch via email. I have heard nothing from them . This is not a 5 star hotel. I have the photo's of the dirty linens. I have never had such a bad experience . I couldn't sleep thinking they had cleaned nothing and that the room occupants might return. Poor service the whole way around.

As the first stop on our honeymoon it was a wonderful stay! The staff was wonderful and very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which can make all the difference no matter what the rest of the property is like. We had a high corner room getting a pretty view of the square. The rooms aren’t “big” but the layout sure makes it feel so, with an entry area, sitting area, coffee bar, beautiful bathroom, and 3 balconies! The small touches are noticed from lighting to soft carpet, robes, and towel heater. We didn’t have time to take advantage of the rest of the property like the restaurant (which is a favorite of the city) or the spa (which is beautiful) but we can only imagine they are lovely also as they were both very busy. Dijon is a beautiful town and we hope to return and will certain be staying here again! Merci!

The hotel is a beautiful building in an amazing location, just a few steps from the shopping street and easy walk to any point within the city. The hotel itself is old. The lobby and the restaurants are renovated and match the Star rating. The rooms, however, leave a lot to be desired and are definitely not 5 star. The first room was odd shape, long and narrow and was awful. The tub/shower was impossible to use since the spout was mounted to the side and splashed water (which barely dribbled) everywhere. Upon complaining, we were moved to a much better room with a decent shower. The bedding was good, which is important. Breakfast was excellent with numerous choices in a very nice room. I would stay here again, but be sure to ask for room where you can take a proper shower.

I booked this hotel for my partner’s birthday trip. It was the great choice! The hotel itself is nice but the staff made it amazing! Everyone was welcoming and nice from the arrival to departure. Also, my partner got a handwritten card and a box of chocolate ❤️ thank them for making our weekend better! When we come back to town, we are definitely coming back to the hotel

The staff was most hospitable! We had trouble with our shower and the hotel manager was most gracious. We had trouble getting a taxi to the train station and one of the staff drove us to the gare. Remarkable customer service!

This is a high quality hotel right on the edge of the beautiful old town area of Dijon. We walked from the train station (about 8 mins) and then were able to walk to all the shops, restaurants and museums. Location was just great. Restaurant and bar options were great. The only drawback was that they were late having our room available. Otherwise perfect.

Across the road from the William Gate, entry point to Dijon’s pedestrianised historic city centre (granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 2020). Therefore a near perfect location. Station is a short walk. We had room number 115 right on the triangular corner, which was light and spacious: not sure which room category it was but well worth it. Valet parking in their car park (15EUR/day extra) is a big plus point (set satnav for 13 Rue Devosge for car park entrance). Good and substantial buffet breakfast. Highly recommended. Only minor gripe was no shower curtain in our room (not missing, just not designed in).

Wonderful hotel in a perfect location. The daily breakfast was outstanding and dinner was perfection. The bed was very comfortable which helped to ensure a good night’s sleep so one could be refreshed and ready to take on another day in this great city.

The hotel is in a good location and the staff were great with the exception of the server on the patio. She was downright rude. It seemed that they were understaffed the night that we dined there. I would not recommend the food however the ambiance is lovely. The hotel itself is fabulous.

The room is very nicely decorated and clean and bed is comfy . I would say , the toiletries like shampoo and conditioner is very good . The breakfast is very good . Food quality is excellent . We’re happy we made a dinner reservation in the hotel. The ambiance is very relaxing and food is fantastic .

O Hotel é bem localizado, proximo ao centro antigo, podendo ir a pé. É um hotel 5 estrelas, de forma que esperamos que o serviço fosse o melhor. Porém tem que melhorar alguns pontos. O quarto era bom, porém o chuveiro péssimo. Dentro de uma banheira, não tinha uma proteção para a água cair dentro da banheira, de forma que inundava o chão do banheiro a cada banho. Além disso, chuveiro com jato de água fraco, sem chuveiro propriamente, somente um pequeno portátil. Precisa melhorar. Outro ponto a melhorar: o café da manhã no pico não comportava todos que queriam tomar café, ficava uma bagunça, faltando pratos, itens do café, etc. Acho que esse problema seria resolvido se fosse reservado horário para tomar café no dia anterior. Outro ponto: para solicitarmos a confecção de uma omelete, ou ovos fritos ficava uma fila gigante, os funcionários atrapalhados, sem saber a quem atendia. Sugestão: os hóspedes poderiam solicitar somente nas mesas aos garçons (deveriam ter mais), que anotaria e traria a solicitação, ao invés do hóspede se dirigir ao balcão para solicitação. A reposição dos alimentos também era muito ruim, faltando itens o tempo todo no pico, os funcionários não davam conta de repor. Mais uma sugestão: Bordeaux é a cidade do vinho, e no quarto não havia uma única garrafa de vinho (cortesia ou não) e também não havia saca-rolhas caso o hóspede desejasse comprar uma garrafa e tomar no quarto. Ao solicitar um saca-rolhas a funcionária não quis entregar se limitou a abrir.

This is the third time that we have stayed at this lovely hotel in the centre of Dijon. It is a beautiful, old building with modern amenities and bedrooms. A nice mix of traditional and modern. The restaurant is excellent for both dinner (good menu choice) and a wonderful breakfast buffet. The staff have always been very helpful and welcoming and this time was no different. We will inevitably stay here again on our travels through France. The hotel is always well presented and, although not cheap, it is in my opinion worth the price.
