Front desk host was very helpful with recommendations (bars & restaurants). Very nice compound in a great location. My room wasn’t exactly as pictured but it still worked out fine. Worth staying here for a few days!

We chose the hotel on the basis of the photos of the old monastery and its cloisters, and it didn’t disappoint. An initial problem with our allocated accommodation was quickly and efficiently dealt with, and we were given a very pleasant two bedroomed apartment on the first floor (easily accessible by lift for anyone with limited mobility) with seating area, dining table and kitchenette. There was a large bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate loo, which was handy for four people sharing. Everything was immaculately clean. Our only quibble was a lack of anywhere to hang clothes, particularly as the rooms were big enough to accommodate at least a rail with hangers. The location of the hotel is excellent - just a stone’s throw from the Place des Cordeliers and within easy walking distance of the fantastic Place de la Libération and the palace of the Dukes of Burgundy. The breakfast, served in one of the vaulted rooms of the monastery, was really excellent. A generous, comprehensive selection of high quality food which set us up for the day.

Nice looking Aparthotel in a great location. We had a standard studio which is a good size and basic kitchen facilities were fine for us. Breakfast was good quality and plenty to choose from. Only downside was the room was quite stuffy even with low 20”s outside so could not imagine what it would be like in a heatwave. The fan was good but quite noisy.

The premises were spotless and remained so through discreet cleaning of common areas throughout our weeklong stay. We were responsible for keeping our apartment clean during our stay which is normal for an apartment. The staff were always courteous and helpful. We did not have breakfast there but we bought the readymade boeuf bourguignon, salade niçoise and gnocchi bourguignon, available in large glass preserving jars from a fridge in reception, and they were all good locally made meals that we consumed in our apartment. The location of this hotel could not be better - quiet, around a medieval courtyard, just steps from the old centre of Dijon.

Staff friendly and helpful, however standard of cleaning was very poor. Fans very dusty, limescale in shower. Markings on floor. Hob top was damaged and taped up. Lack of washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets for in room dishwasher. Unfortunate as the location is great and the property has so much potential.
