Disney Sequoia Lodge

The hotel is tired. Staffing issues in bar area meant all of bar was not open. Swimming pool water temperature was stated at 28c. However it did not feel like that , everyone thought that the pool was too cold. Room not cleaned properly, glasses not washed on 2 occasions. Feels as if everything is being cut back eg poor quality toilet paper , water not replaced etc Main dissatisfaction was that although Disney Paris tickets were included in the price we were not made aware how much of the park was closed. Some of the park is closed for refurbishment but some of the shows seem to just have been closed. In the park the water in the toilets is cold and hand dryers do not work. Overall 50% of shows are cancelled and a huge amount of park is closed. We have been coming to the park for over 30 years and will not be coming again. I feel that Hotels . Com should be issuing a warning to clients booking a hotel with Disney booking. A small saving grace were the staff in the hotel bar who were fantastic.

Don't miss the pool. It's awesome! They even have a vending machine for bathing clothes, if you forgot your own.

La piscine était fermée, je n'ai reçu aucune information concernant cette fermeture sachant que j'ai réservé des mois à l'avance. J'ai appelé pour avoir des informations, on a pas pu me renseigner. Je n'aurais pas réservé dans cette hôtel sachant que la piscine serait indisponible

The hotel was a pleasant 10 minute walk to the park. Parking was free in the large car park. The Disney characters that visited the hotel every morning were all the big names eg. Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck & we got to meet & greet. The hotel shop is great. The buffet in the restaurant is the same every day. Could have used some variation but food was plentiful & good quality. You have to queue for breakfast at popular times & book your evening meal (if staying half board) with the concierge in advance. Room was spacious & well appointed. Lots of damp in the bathroom though as extractor didn’t work. Needed a good scrub! Worth paying extra for a lakeside room or you end up overlooking the car park. Staff were very friendly & multilingual. All spoke English. We enjoyed our stay overall.

This hotel is so cozy in the winter with the wilderness feel. Don’t get me wrong it’s due a refurb some of the communal areas are tired and need an update but it has a lovely atmosphere. There is a huge fire in the bar which is lit at nighttime, bar doesn’t open until 4pm which is frustrating as other hotels have options available all day. Limited food available in the bar as well, could be a better choice. Such an easy 10-15 min walk to the parks which is so convenient. Queue at security goes down quickly. Pool area lovely although water temp a little cold. Will absolutely stay here again.

Globalement nous sommes satisfaits de notre sejour. Personnel gentil et accueillant. -Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine après nos journées aux parcs. Techniquement très agreable, dommage que l’eau soit si froide. Heuresement que jaccuzi permet de se rechauffer un temps. La piscine est propre et suffisament grande pour la frequentation. Cependant, dommage que la piscine soit dans un bâtimment exterieur et non dans l’enceinte même de l’hôtel. -Parcs à proximité à pied, 10-15 mins, très facilement faisable à pied sinon il y une navette. Suite aux avis des autres clients et étant avec un bébé, j’ai fait le choix de payer plus cher pour avoir une chambre dans le bâtiment principal, l’hôtel etant assez vaste… je pense que cela à jouer Chambre simple mais avec l’equipement suffisant ( bouilloire, lit bébé si besoin, mini frigo, coffre…) et surtout propre.

This is the only Disney Paris hotel we will stay in. It is Bambi themed, with lots of gorgeous wood and natural materials. Not a Mickey or Minnie Mouse anywhere, I'm happy to say. It reminds me of the historic Craftsman lodges in Yellowstone and Lake Tahoe. So much better than the frenetic overload found at the other hotels around the Paris Disney lake. My children love this hotel because the pool is amazing, with a waterfall and slide. Way better than the sad Newport pool. This hotel is also a much closer walk, about 10 minutes closer. My favourite thing about this hotel is the forest that surrounds it.

Tyvärr flera saker som inte stämde för oss. Kassaskåpet i rummet var låst vid ankomst, anmälde detta till receptionen vid två tillfällen men ingen kom till rummet för att låsa upp kassaskåpet. Badrummet var slitet, nästintill stop i handfatet vilket kändes lite ofräscht. I övrigt var rummet enligt förväntning. En av tre hissar fungerade ej. Vilket medförde att vid rusningstid (när alla vill gå mot parken) så vart det enorma väntetider vid hissen. Slutade med att vi bar barnvagnen ner för trapporna istället. Poolen var stängd under hela vår vistelse vilket är ett stort minus då vi hade tre dagar att spendera på plats (varav två i parken). En halvdag var planerad att spenderas i poolen. Dessutom fick vi reda av receptionen att poolen öppnar 16:00. Av spapersonalen fick vi reda att de har öppet hela dagen. Stort plus för att hotellet kan transportera bagage till tågstationen medan man är i parken. Det underlättade. Dock ett stort minus för själva prissättningen som baseras på antal personer boendes i rummet, inte på antalet bagage som ska flyttas. Vi var en familj på 4 i rummet men bara 1 bagage. Kostnaden blev 40 euro. Hade jag varit själv men haft 4 bagage, så hade kostnaden varit 10 euro. Prissättningen är skev.

Strong Yosemite vibe due to giant trees. Parking can be long distance from reception. Lodge-style property with lots of stone and wood a short distance from Disney Village restaurants. Resort restaurants and staff are outstanding. Majority speak fluent English. Only negative is my room had no electricity outlets anywhere on the wall behind the headboards. Front desk has extension cord available with security deposit. Resort shuttles put you closer to the park entrance than driving a car plus parking fee is €30.

The pool is awesome!

Limpieza regular. Movimos la mesa y debajo había restos de una etiqueta de alguna prenda. En los filos de la encimera del baño habia polvo sobre todo en los rincones. Y una mancha color marrón dentro del mueble bajo el lavabo. Pensamos que era barniz, pero se quitó con agua, por lo cual nos surgieron dudas de qué habría provocado dicha mancha. La habitación en general olía a cerrado (moqueta) y las ventanas no se pueden abrir para ventilar. A un cajón de la cómoda le faltaba un tirador por lo que dificultaba mucho poder abrirlo. Por último, éramos 3 adultos pero sólo había 1 botecito de champú y 1 de acondicionador. Reclamamos que cuando hiciesen la habitación nos pusieran un botecito de cada por persona, y nos dijeron que era sólo 1 champú y 1 acondicionador por estancia. Tras reiterar un par de veces de que eran insuficientes (1 champú y 1 acondicionador para 3 adultos 4 noches) el último dia nos pusieron 1 más de cada. Uno de nosotros de quedó sin los botecitos de recuerdo... ¡Y ni se te ocurra pedir una chapa! Que inventan cualquier excusa para no darla (sólo para niños, no nos quedan, hace años que no se dan, etc) Estos detalles hacen que te pienses si merece la pena pagar por un hotel disney o irte a uno externo. Porque al fin y al cabo, si no te dan los botecitos, ni chapas, ni nada ¿cómo noto que estoy en un hotel disney?

Great stay clean tidy. All staff very friendly and helpful. Good location. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

My room was clean and comfortable. I understand the hotel is due for renovation and I agree it is ready. We would however return even before the renovation.

Room was very dirty. There was an old blood stain on one of the sheets, the surfaces werent clean, were sticky and covered with fingerprints and there i stood on a small puddle of something wet white and guey. If it hadnt been so late we Had checked in and the room so far from reception we would have insisted upon another room but my daughter was fast asleep and we were dead on our feet. Not Exactly a magical start to our stay.

quarto antigo,precisando de renovação mas atende bem. O grande problema é a limpeza. Encontrei copos sujos de cafe na janela quando cheguei e no outro dia,quando deixei o meu,tambem foi deixado. Realmente pessima a lipeza. mas a localização é excelente. Funcionarios muito prestativos.Meu secador de cabelo estava quebrado. Falei no dia seguinte e consertaram.

Leider ist das Hotel schon ziemlich abgewohnt. Teppichboden im Zimmer sehr dreckig. Keine klobürste vorhanden. Toilette war nicht sauber

The hallways smelled like urine. Wallpaper peeling off the walls. Even the entry doors were really scratched and chipped and scuffed up. So worn looking. Dust bunnies in the corners. The lobby is the nicest. The room is lacking-smelled again of mildew and urine. The mattress was bouncy and uncomfortable. The price charged for this hotel is outrageous given the condition. I am not sure anything has been updated since the 90s. It is a shame though because the outside is beautiful. What a bait and switch. Ultimately, we paid more and moved to another hotel which was also subpar for the price. I couldn’t stay here. Disney should really be ashamed of this property’s condition. The pop century in WDW Florida feels like the Grand Floridian in comparison to this hotel. I cannot believe Sequoia Lodge is a Disney property.

The room was too small for 3 person (2 adults+1 child), there were no enough hooks (for towels, for example).

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Yes, it’s dated (being refurbed next year), but the rooms are spacious and the location is fabulous for the price. We’d spent the previous 3 nights at the Cheyenne - our back was cancelled, so needed an extra night and decided to try the sequoia. We much preferred the bigger rooms here.

Hotel convenient for parks but felt a bit tired. Poor re electric points and ability to regulate temperature in room. Beds a little hard.

Room: dated, toilet didn't flush well, no minibar, hairdryer very weak Bar: didn't open until 4, would expect more seating outside bar as it didn't open until later. An area open all day for drinks and light snacks would be expected in a hotel that expensive, an ibis I stayed in recently had a bar and snack area open all day and breakfast was nicer Breakfast: overpriced, quality and variety not as expected for cost.

Room was clean and beds comfy. Sink was very slow to drain, bath tub was nice. Coffee machine and kettle in room were good. View from room was into service area, air con quite noisy but worked. All in all good hotel but rooms need updating (e.g. no sockets or USB ports near bedside table).

Excellent stay but considering this is a Disney Hotel of moderate rating I was disappointed there was no fridge in room. In addition, nowhere to sit comfortably in hotel during day as lounge area is not open until 4pm. WiFi constantly comes and goes Meals excellent

Hotel was in a great location which is reflected in the price. Hotel was slightly dated/room could use a refurb but was a good place to sleep / rest. Beds were comfy. Only downside was only one plug for the room

Tired with no working air conditioner. Stay in Val d’Europe and take the one stop train journey.

The property itself is great, the theming is excellent, the location for the parks is very good. Breakfast was very good and on the one occasion we had an evening meal in the restaurant the food was also very good however in the evening it was quite hectic in the restaurant. The thing you just can’t get away from is how dated the rooms are, and for the amount Disney must be making it’s a joke how long it has clearly been since this hotel had a renovation. The other thing that annoyed me was that we arrived quite late in the evening with a toddler and a few cases, the staff on the entrance offered zero help in getting the cases or toddler into the hotel. So far away from the standard that you see at the American Disney resorts

Common areas very nice. Rooms themselves are 10 years past needing a refresh. Mattresses and bathroom poor, very poor value. One outlet in entire room, none in the bath area nor on the single bedside table.

Nous avons été accueillis par un personnel mal aimable, hautain, pas du tout accueillant. La chambre n’était pas propre : toiles d’araignées au plafond, miroir rempli d’éclaboussures de dentifrice, de traces de doigt, nous avons même trouvé des objets appartenant aux précédents locataires…. Une femme de ménage est entrée dans notre chambre alors que nous avions mis le panneau ne pas déranger et que l’heure du Check out n’était pas passée. Nous sommes arrivés une heure avant la fin du petit déjeuner pour trouver la moitié du buffet vide (à 30 euros par tête c’est quand même dingue…)Bref. Service déplorable et chambre passable. heureusement que les parties communes sont agréables.

I was very disappointed in this hotel. We arrived ar 2:30, and went through tedious check in process. The receptionist was not helpful, she informed us that we would receive a text when our room was ready around 3pm. We decided to go to the parks for the day, we never received a text. I contacted expedia for help, the agent was also not able to help me. We were not able to check into our hotel after 9pm! Almost no one spoke English which isn’t common for a Disney hotel. We are DVC owners and have been to several locations, this if the worst service we’ve experienced in 20 years. Had we known the Disneyland Hotel open we would have stayed there. This hotel is a dump that should be permanently closed.

I recently booked a three-night stay at Disney Sequo through Expedia, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. My dissatisfaction began when I attempted to modify my reservation due to unexpected work obligations. Despite being within the cancellation period, my requests to cancel the last night were met with unfulfilled promises from Expedia customer service. After several days of back-and-forth assurances, I was eventually told to address the matter directly with the hotel upon check-in. Upon arriving at [Hotel Name], I expected a seamless resolution, given that I had booked a Golden Forest room for an elevated experience. However, the disappointment continued. The staff at the Golden Forest club, specifically [Employee's Name], demonstrated an astonishing lack of professionalism and customer service skills. [Employee's Name] not only displayed rudeness but also denied any assistance due to the fact that I had booked through Expedia. Her statement, "Disney is a very large company, and they in the hotel are unable to help me if I book through Expedia," was not only inaccurate but also unacceptable. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was met with further unwillingness to address my concerns. To make matters worse, [Employee's Name] was unable to locate my booking information and even questioned the validity of my room number. This lack of coordination and professionalism within the Golden Forest club left me feeling completely helpless and shoc

Beautiful hotel! Food was excellent. Clean room. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The overhang was blocked off to all traffic leaving nowhere to load/unload children, luggage and a wheelchair. The staff watched as we struggled with our luggage through the front doors and did nothing to help. We were told we could take an electric scooter on the bus but the driver refused. We were then told special transpirtdtion would be provided but it “wasn’t available” at that time. Restaurant had limited food options. Room was standard.

Staff are great. We got half board and the food was incredible. Easy walk to the parks, village, and train station. Highly recommend

Fantastic location for Disneyland Paris

We booked a Golden Forest Room for 2 nights with tickets for 3 days and the Half Board dining from Hotels.com rather than Disneyland because it was significantly cheaper and we got Topcashback of 11%. It is a lovely hotel with a nice atmosphere about 15 minutes walk from the Parks. The walk is pleasant - you go through a less busy security area and through the Disney Village. The room is a standard 2 double-bed room with a nice bathroom - nothing outstanding and the theming is subtle. We got breakfast in the Golden Forest room which was good - lots of hot and cold food to choose from. There was an incident the second morning involving the 'Guardian' of the room and a guest but a bit of drama set us up for the day! We also ate in the buffet in the evening both nights because we thought it was good value. It was - the food was really nice with lots of variety except I thought the offerings would be different each night and they weren't. The parks are open late in the summer - the fireworks don't start until 1040pm so even with a late finish, it was nice to be able just to walk back to the hotel - no bus or car park to deal with. I think this is the real bonus of Sequoia Lodge. Disneyland Paris is expensive no matter which accommodation you choose - if you want something reasonable within walking distance, this is a good pick.

A great base from which to easily walk to the Disneyland parks. Staff were lovely. The decor in the corridors and rooms is a little dated but the rest of the hotel is smart. Would recommend as this has been great for our family of four 😁

Clean and lovely staff. It just desperately needs an update now. Very old looking. 15 min walk to parks. The buffet was okay. Staff again lovely, but so many kids are fussy and there werent any fries or burgers, hot dogs, pizza etc We love Sequoia though and will keep returning

Great stay, staff really friendly and helpful. Buffet food was good, the earlier you go to breakfast the better though as it does get busy and food runs out fast. It is replenished but there is a little wait. No milk in room for tea, used creamer. Took our own teabags so not sure of selection in the room. We enjoyed the pool but the system for getting in and out we found a little strange.

Gutes Hotel Lage war gut bis zum Disney Eingang gute 15 Minuten zu Fuss 30 Euto fürs Frühstück finde ich zu teuer aber ok Der Disneypark war viel viel zu laut. Bei den Paraden war es so extrem dass man sich anschreien musste . Es ist ein Park mit vielen kleinen Kindern Da war es im Hotel wieder schön ruhig

The rooms and property are pretty tired, but the cleanliness and staff are all great. Breakfast buffet was tasty enough too.

The property itself is quite dated. I always think you can tell a lot about a place with the toilet roll. It was cheap. If they're prepared to scrimp on that what are they scrimping on behind the scenes. The food was average at best, ridiculously crowded, not enough room in the dining areas for the amount of guests. You're literally sat with other people at breakfast the tables are so close. 10 minute walk to the parks is the only good thithis place has going for it.

This was a great place to stay. Walk 10 minutes to Disney parks and village. Very clean with friendly staff. Restaurant was limited to buffet style. Ok for the morning, but not for a light snack in the evening. Very nice property!
