The hotel is long overdue a make over as it is extremely tired with marks, stains and holes in certain parts of the room. Plugs missing from sink. Some dangerous sharp parts exposed. Photos and write up on website need to be updated- to say there is a restaurants near by it’s a McDonald’s and it on an industrial site. Definitely not worth the money we paid for our family room. Really disappointed

We received a very warm and friendly welcome on our arrival. As it was late, the restaurant was closed but we were advised of the 'Buffalo Grill' right next door to the hotel. The receptionist also advised that if we showed them our hotel key we could get a 10% discount. We went and enjoyed a very tasty supper and got discount. There are a couple of other restaurants within walking distance (including the dreaded McD's) Our room was very clean but a bit on the small size, this didn't really matter as it was a one night stop over for us. Air conditioning worked perfectly and was very quiet. Our only issue was the breakfast. A fairly basic 'Continental' set up but the remaining scrambled eggs looked disgusting, sausages not very appealing. The toaster didn't work, I considered moving it to another wall socket but the socket it was plugged into was hanging off the wall, I noticed the next one I was going to use was in a worse state!!!! I will say that the food we did take was satisfactory. I would definitely use this hotel again if we needed to do the same journey again. It was convenient for our needs, friendly a very good price. Thank you.
