We stopped over for the night on our way to the Mediterranean sea and it was a pleasant stay. The pool was great for the kids and the restaurant had good food! Also really close to downtown.

Service was good, location was good, breakfast was good and secure parking in the garage. The rooms could need an upgrade, but it’s okay for one night. The pool is a lot smaller in real life than it looks like in the picture.

Chambre tres propre et bonne literie. Intérieur de l'hôtel tres joli, restaurant de qualité. Petit dejeuner tres varié et bon. Quant a la piscine, elle est bien plus belle en photo qu'en vrai. Elle devrait etre refaite Parking sous l'hôtel mais dommage qu'il soit payant et cher. Trés bon accueil général.

Les chambres sont propres spacieuses calmes. Le resto était fermé mais sommes allés à l’ibis à côté. Bonne restauration simple mais ça va. Petit-déjeuner sympa. Le parking est juste compliqué. Le code à rentrer est au milieu du parking et il faut le voir. Avons galéré 1/4 d’heure

There was a conference on whilst we were there, so lobby area was busy. Pool is very small and bizarrely you have to walk through the dining area to get to it. There's no changing facilities so you have to walk back in your wet costume under your clothes. Seems the Ibis next door has all the same facilities but is cheaper than the Novatel!

Le petit déjeuner n'a pas été livré à temps, le plateau a été laissé dans la chambre lors du ménage, il y avait de la poussière dans la chambre et une baignoire sale. Petite piscine. Sur le plan positif, le personnel sympathique à la réception.

Allereerst was het personeel zeer onvriendelijk. Toen we op de kamer kwamen hing er een etenslucht op de kamer. De ramen stonden open maar de lucht bleef hangen. Normaal ligt er ook iets van een een flesje water of iets van showercaps maar ook dat lag er niet. Ook lagen er nog haren in het bad! Midden in de nacht ging het brandalarm af, achteraf gelukkig vals alarm. Bij beneden komst werden er enkel mededelingen in het Frans gedaan, wij hebben aangegeven geen Frans te verstaan en werden afgewimpeld met een all is good you go back. De volgende ochtend zaten de branddeuren van de vloer nog steeds dicht. Wij komen vaak bij het Novotel, maar dit is absoluut niet de service die wij van hen gewend zijn.

The room was lovely (as expected) and very clean. Air conditioning was OK, though I like the room a little cooler. The pool wasn't very big and was very crowded (mostly young children), so we didn't use it in the end. We ate at the hotel, but the food was not great quality for the price. Reception staff were great as it was very busy.

The hotel is extremely dated and in need of an upgrade. Very in clean in areas. The parking is hard to find and €15 to park in this vault underground. We had an executive room, there was nothing executive about it! Dirty carpets and air conditioning was dreadful. If it’s hot, you’re gonna have an awful night. The area is surrounded by high rise flats and nothing picturesque about it and the pool is shared with another hotel so has extremely cloudy dirty water and far too small. The food is super quick so obviously not cooked fresh and the breakfast was average. Avoid this Flea pit at all costs.!

Terrible service at all levels, particularly in the restaurant. After making a reservation and twlli g the host, I told hom where I would be and then pointed. A 1/2 wait turned into an hour I checked back in with him. No recall of the reservation, I waited agaim for a 1/2 hour and was seated. They brought part of my ordet and forgot the entree. During that wait they messed Up 3 other orders.

Property does not demonstrate the caliber of a 4 star establishment. Staff lacks hospitality skills and compassion. Check-out time was posted at 12 Noon, however, housekeeping keeps badgering guests at 9am, 10am and 11am to ensure we have vacated which was extremely intrusive especially when we were getting ready to check-out. I answered the door once and the housekeeping lady (perhaps Manager) gave me a rude and stern look, questioning why we haven't left the room yet. Additionally, contacted the front desk to extend a courtesy late check-out of 1pm as 3 of us were very ill due to food poisoning, and yet we were denied. As a guest, one would expect a little more accommodation based on each unique circumstance, and the requests in my opinion were more than reasonable. Nonetheless, very likely will not be returning.

Un bel établissement, adapté aux déplacements en famille ; les enfants s’y régalent. La restauration est très bien avec un personnel poli, accueillant et attentionné! Tout ce que nous avons mangé était très bon. Le service des étages par contre est épouvantable : elles font du bruit, vous rentrent dans les chambres sans faire attention.. Samedi, une gouvernante d’étage se dispute avec la femme de chambre en partie dans notre chambre et devant nous… Dimanche la femme de chambre qui entre dans la chambre sans prévenir à 9 heures, ça vous réveille et elle s’excuse en disant ‘vous étiez en départ aujourd’hui….’. Sauf qu’il était 9heures, un dimanche matin.. Bref ça a un peu gâché le séjour… On était supposé avoir 2 lits doubles… Meubles abimés

Un bel établissement, adapté aux déplacements en famille ; les enfants s’y régalent. La restauration est très bien avec un personnel poli, accueillant et attentionné! Tout ce que nous avons mangé était très bon. Le service des étages par contre est épouvantable : elles font du bruit, vous rentrent dans les chambres sans faire attention.. Samedi, une gouvernante d’étage se dispute avec la femme de chambre en partie dans notre chambre et devant nous… Dimanche la femme de chambre qui entre dans la chambre sans prévenir à 9 heures, ça vous réveille et elle s’excuse en disant ‘vous étiez en départ aujourd’hui….’. Sauf qu’il était 9heures, un dimanche matin.. Bref ça a un peu gâché le séjour… On était supposé avoir 2 lits doubles… Meubles abimés

Fint hotel godt placeret ved motorvejen og tæt på den gamle bydel. Det er dog yderst uheldigt når brandalarmen går midt om natten og kaos opstår og eneste synlige medarbejder intet kan forstå eller sige på engelsk. Folk i panik, børn der græder og folk udenfor uden guidning og en medarbejder indenfor der nødtvungen informere på fransk —— kaos Vi endte med og bare kører videre midt om natten til det sydfranske.

Je prends d’autre disposition et finalement le lendemain on me dit que tout est ok. Les deux hommes qui m’ont appelé étaient condescendants. Première fois qu’on me traite de la sorte. J’ai perdu 120€

Terrible service at all levels, particularly in the restaurant. After making a reservation and twlli g the host, I told hom where I would be and then pointed. A 1/2 wait turned into an hour I checked back in with him. No recall of the reservation, I waited agaim for a 1/2 hour and was seated. They brought part of my ordet and forgot the entree. During that wait they messed Up 3 other orders.

Chambre tres propre et bonne literie. Intérieur de l'hôtel tres joli, restaurant de qualité. Petit dejeuner tres varié et bon. Quant a la piscine, elle est bien plus belle en photo qu'en vrai. Elle devrait etre refaite Parking sous l'hôtel mais dommage qu'il soit payant et cher. Trés bon accueil général.

The room was lovely (as expected) and very clean. Air conditioning was OK, though I like the room a little cooler. The pool wasn't very big and was very crowded (mostly young children), so we didn't use it in the end. We ate at the hotel, but the food was not great quality for the price. Reception staff were great as it was very busy.

Good base in the south of Lyon city centre - 5 mins walk to a tram stop to travel into the city centre. The Breakfast buffet had a lot of options for us as a family. The communal pool is small, but good - towels for the pool are 2 euros from reception. Parking is underground at 14 euros. Restaurant on an evening is friendly.
