Right by the beach. Great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Property was clean. Parking is right across the street but it’s a shared paid parking that the hotel has a contract with. We had to loop 3 times to find a spot cause we arrived in the afternoon which was a busy time for parking.

Overraskende bra, vi oppgraderte rommet og fikk et meget bra rom. Hadde en drink på takterrassen og nøt utsikten denne høstkvelden. Der ble vi oppvartet med masse snacks på tapasfjøl til behagelig musikk og hyggelige servitører. Resepsjonen var veldig effektiv og bra ved inn -og utsjekking.

Very nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. I can certainly recommend it. There are several private beaches in the area. None of them is owned by the hotel, so there is no private beach available to hotel guests. However, there is a small public beach 3 min walk from the hotel, free of charge. The water quality is OK and it's recommendable to shower after swimming. If you bring your own (rental) car, please note that parking will cost € 16 per day.

Property is across from the water. Restaurants and shopping are very close by. Be forewarned that the hotel does not have parking on site, but there is a parking lot across the street where you can park for 19€. Also, there isn’t much of an unloading area in front of the hotel; maybe two cars at most can park to unload luggage.

Nice hotel close to the beach and marina. Rooms were nice, clean and has an amazing shower. Bed was a bit hard for my liking but everything else was great. Breakfast was only 12 euros a person and had a nice variety.

Our room was immaculate, spacious and of a very high quality. The breakfast was excellent, all the staff were very helpfull and the hotel was in an excellent location. The ferry to Portofino was within walking distance and there were lots of cafes and restaurants in the area

Exceeded expectations. The standard room was fabulous, large, a fantastic shower with multiple jets. The breakfast was excellent where you had a vast selection and could sit inside or on the terrace. The rooftop bar was fantastic in the evening, and associated service and vibe was great!! Reception staff organised parking for my car for 19E overnight and drove it off and returned it with zero fuss. The location can't be beaten.

After 3 weeks of very mediocre accommodations in Italy this room was like heaven. The shower was wonderful! Why did it take someone so long to figure out how to just push a button for the “rain” vs “handheld” option! There was also a coffee/teapot in the room which is not standard here and a couch to sit on. The rooftop Sky Bar is amazing beyond description! Some things that others might complain about: The internet was on and off in my room and the hotel does not look directly over the sea. I had a “partial ocean view” and was very happy. One more thing…as a woman traveling alone I felt very welcome here.

I arrived at the hotel a little early exhausted by the train rides. I was warmly greeted by Rueben, whose customer service was outstanding! He worked very hard for me to be able to check in early, along with offering me an incredible upgrade to a room with a balcony and view. I was overwhelmed with joy seeing the beautiful room and view. This hotel is gorgeous, and has a beautiful rooftop bar, with an incredible view. I have decided to stay another night, because of the staffs outstanding service, and the beautiful hotel it is.

This has to be one of the best hotela in Rapallo. The front desk staff is especially attentive and accommodating, especially Elizabeth, who assisted with our arrival and departure. The breakfast servers are very professional and always served us with a smile on their faces! Breakfast spread is abundant and even luxurious. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in town or nearby.

I would highly recommend a stay at the Best Western Plus Tigullio Royal! As a solo traveler, it was the perfect location - a 5 minute walk from the Rapallo train station, and directly on the main waterfront path. Lots of restaurant options within a few doors, and directly in front of the beach! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful - I was having issues with my train, and the front desk attendant (Anna) helped me get where I needed to be - better yet, she followed up the following morning confirming I had made my train. The room and bathroom were both incredibly clean, big, and comfortable - if I return to Rapallo, I will make a point to stay here again.

This hotel is truly a gem in Rapallo! I meant to only stay 1 night, and I have decided to stay 3! It is mainly due to the outstanding customer service of the staff including Ruben, Elizabeth, Elena, and Fernanda. Elizabeth assisted me with booking an additional night, and I am so grateful to have found this beautiful hotel, in an incredible location. The views from rooms have been amazing, and the view from rooftop bar is incredible! Their agreement w another hotel for beach is also fantastic! I can’t wait to return!

It is in the middle of the town and everything is walking distance it you are visiting Portofino and plan to travel by taxi, despite of it being less than 4 miles away, the taxi fares range between 60-120 Euros depending on the time of the day which can be extremely expensive

Excellent location within Rapallo with convenient parking for a small fee across the road. Easy to walk into the charming older parts of Rapallo and a short drive or boy ride to visit Portofino. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and well decorated. The rooftop bar was lovely but probably crowded on days with better weather.

Il mio soggiorno a Rapallo è stato reso immensamente più confortevole e piacevole dal mio soggiorno al Best Western Plus Tigullio Royal Hotel. Il personale è stato super cordiale, cortese e molto efficiente. All'arrivo, mi è stato offerto un upgrade a una camera con vista mare completa (180 gradi). La prima sera, mentre ero fuori a cena, mi è stata fatta trovare una bottiglia di champagne in camera. La colazione era spettacolare, super varia con frutta fresca, noci, salumi e formaggi, un'ampia varietà di dolci e a un prezzo molto ragionevole. The location was perfect. We didnt access the beach as the weather was not right for it. It was rainy and umbrellas were available to borrow. Breakfast was good. Room was nice and spacious. We have a view of the ocean. Small shower. Nice ans spacious closet. Drinks at the rooftop are more expensive than at the regular bar and they are expensive already but the service is good. The aperitif is delicious. All and all we like the hotel and would stay there again.
