terrazzo panoramico da favola (chissà che meraviglia essere li per le feste di luglio), uniche due pecche la mancanza di parcheggio (i parcheggi davanti son solo per carico e scarico) e l'ascensore che per lavori in corso non funzionava, il resto tutto OKK!

Ett mycket bra hotell som är beläget perfekt i Rapello utmed vattnet. Bra och rymliga rum. Trevlig terrass som går att utnyttja. Boendet erbjuder ett soldäck med solstolar mot en enklare summa. Perfekt för avkoppling med sol och bad. Rapello är en Medelhavspärla och en båttur till Portofino är ett måste vid ett besök.

Location was ideal, the train station was a 5 minute walk, the old town even less, and right on the end of the promenade. Room was clean. Facilities were decent, 2 nice terraces and a good restaurant attached. Plenty of communal spaces. The staff were friendly and informative. Only negative is not on the hotel itself but Hotels.com who showed photos of the Superior Room when selling the Classic Sea View room, which only has a tiny balcony looking awah from the harbour, and is not like the one in the Hotels.com photos

Positives: The location is excellent. An easy walk from the train station. Staff are friendly and provided tea making facilities on request. Great views from the upper floor balcony room. Good water pressure in the shower. Room overall, a little too small - restricted access to wardrobe, fridge and safety deposit box. Cleanliness. Negatives: Building work - not notified. Shower cubicle - the position of the shower head limits the space, shower gel container too high, vanity mirrors in the bathroom and the bedroom are too low/high. Water temperature wasn't steady, ranging from hot to cold when using the shower. Overall Rating: 4/5

Nice hotel with a really good location, excellent views and good breakfast. Dinner was also really tasty and good service. But as usual in mediterranean restaurants the light is cold white and kind of a sterile environment. Probably better when you can sit outside.

L'hotel Italia e Lido si trova in una posizione strategica di Rapallo. La posizione praticamente sul mare ha come prima vista anche il castello della città. Il check-in è cordiale ma di convenienza. Alla richiesta di disponibilità di un parcheggio a causa di un contenuto prezioso all'interno dell'auto e non scaricabile, Il signore alla reception ha risposto che i parcheggi erano solo a disposizione per carico e scarico quando invece per tutta la notte le auto di alcuni clienti dell'hotel sono rimaste parcheggiate senza nessun tipo di problema. Si ha seriamente l'impressione di un doppio trattamento per clienti di serie A e clienti di serie B. Nota molto favorevole sono le camere spaziose e molto pulite anche se la televisione di minute proporzioni non è sicuramente un Plus. Un plauso va all'attenzione per il tema della salvaguardia dell'ambiente. Un enorme nota dolente sono i bagni che risultano estremamente piccoli tanto da non aver spazio per sedersi Sul WC se non si aprono le porte della doccia. Consigliabile?

Rooms ok with a nice view over the the sea. Friendly staff, especially a very sweet cleaning lady. Breakfast is ok but not overwhelming. Hotel needs an update. The ‘private beach’ is very small and costs 15 EUR pr day/person. Water is not clean. Public beach is small and crowded. No parking at the hotel, very difficult/impossible to find a public parking nearby. Overall, hotel is not worth the price (283 eur/night breakfast NOT included).

Hôtel magnifique et idéalement placé au pied d'une plage publique et sur la promenade de Rapallo. Tout est à proximité : gare, commerces, supermarché. Les chambres sont d'une propreté rare, la mienne était neuve. Le + : la demi pension. Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec des produits frais et de qualité. Et que dire des dîners : chaque soir un repas copieux avec une cuisine pleine de saveurs et du poisson frais. Un grand merci également au personnel de l'établissement, de l'accueil en passant par les serveurs ou les agents d'entretien, tous sont d'un professionnalisme rare de nos jours.

Non cambiavano sempre le lenzuola, abbiamo iniziato a lasciare per terra la roba per obbligare a loro a cambiare, l’ultimo giorno c’era una sigaretta che hanno lasciato per terra di fianco al bidè, la colazione non valse la pena. La reception erano tutti gentilissimi la parte migliore.

The hotel itself is pretty old and outdated, beds and pillows are not great- but the view!!! I had a room on the sea (highly recommend the extra $ to get that view) with a little two seat balcony set up and it was beautiful. Noisy in the mornings with people at the beach but what can you do? This was a 7 minute walk to the train station and I took my bags with me no problems. The front desk staff is so kind and helpful for everything and there’s a bunch of places to eat right outside. The ferry takes off about a 5 minute walk from The hotel and is only 20€ to go to and from Portofino. I’m glad I stayed here as it was easy to get in and out of and close to the other two cities by ferry. The view and location is 10/10 but the actual hotel itself is probably 6/10.

The location is brilliant, the staff are lovely and the sea view is definitely worth paying for. The room needs updating, especially the ‘air conditioning’, the room never got below 22 deg, the temp and fan is controlled by reception which was not ideal; they lowered temp but it never got cooler, also pillows need replacing - we found this in many different hotels during our stay. I would recommend this hotel for the lovely staff who can’t do enough for you and a real credit to the hotel, thank you.

Loved the location and for a three star hotel was very nice. The staff were very helpful and rooms were very clean. Just a little remodeling would be nice. Also the bathroom was small but would still go back. The ocean view and sound of the ocean was wonderful.

We stayed at the renewed part of the hotel, fantastic view and a nice room with balcony. Personel was really friendly, overall a good stay only the room was noisy , you hear truly everything from outside and extremely during the weekends with music, that was a shame because I came to sleep during my holiday.

Hotel Italia e Lido Rapallo is a great hotel in a fantastic location. Our room was on the fourth floor with a beautiful view of the Rapallo Harbor there was a nice little bistro set on the balcony to enjoy the view and coffee or a cocktail it is centrally located to walk to all the shops and restaurants in Rapalo. The staff was fantastic from front desk to Housekeeping. We will definitely stay there again we had one of the larger rooms and it was still a little on the small side, but typical Italian style The only real drawback was the size of the shower. Similar to a small motorhome shower.

Dont consinder this destination if you travel by car , parking is a nightmare and the hotel don't give any real options for Parking. As consequence we had to leave the hotel before the end of our stay - no refund given, to the reason they by all right claim that's parking isn't are a part of the Hotel offering. Even the carpark near by (36€ a day) is full and you have to find alternative to this due to market days should you be lucky to get a free space. Dont consinder this destination if you travel by car , parking is a nightmare and the hotel don't give any real options for Parking. As consequence we had to leave the hotel before the end of our stay - no refund given, to the reason they by all right claim that's parking isn't are a part of the Hotel offering. Even the carpark near by (36€ a day) is full and you have to find alternative to this due to market days should you be lucky to get a free space. The front desk staff was so friendly! And the hotel is prime location to ferries, train, night life, shopping, restaurants, hiking and more. Quick ferry to portofino and Santa Margherita. Rapallo is definitely the best location in the area

The location is brilliant, the staff are lovely and the sea view is definitely worth paying for. The room needs updating, especially the ‘air conditioning’, the room never got below 22 deg, the temp and fan is controlled by reception which was not ideal; they lowered temp but it never got cooler, also pillows need replacing - we found this in many different hotels during our stay. I would recommend this hotel for the lovely staff who can’t do enough for you and a real credit to the hotel, thank you.

The hotel itself is pretty old and outdated, beds and pillows are not great- but the view!!! I had a room on the sea (highly recommend the extra $ to get that view) with a little two seat balcony set up and it was beautiful. Noisy in the mornings with people at the beach but what can you do? This was a 7 minute walk to the train station and I took my bags with me no problems. The front desk staff is so kind and helpful for everything and there’s a bunch of places to eat right outside. The ferry takes off about a 5 minute walk from The hotel and is only 20€ to go to and from Portofino. I’m glad I stayed here as it was easy to get in and out of and close to the other two cities by ferry. The view and location is 10/10 but the actual hotel itself is probably 6/10.

Location was ideal, the train station was a 5 minute walk, the old town even less, and right on the end of the promenade. Room was clean. Facilities were decent, 2 nice terraces and a good restaurant attached. Plenty of communal spaces. The staff were friendly and informative. Only negative is not on the hotel itself but Hotels.com who showed photos of the Superior Room when selling the Classic Sea View room, which only has a tiny balcony looking awah from the harbour, and is not like the one in the Hotels.com photos

Nicely old-fashioned, nicely positioned old hotel right on the seafront, just 30 yards from the castello and small public beach. Very comfortable small double room with mini balcony looking onto the sea and promenade. Excellent helpful service.

What a gem of a hotel. A shocker was that the restaurant was the best we had in town as well! It's human nature to assume their must be something more "authentic" elsewhere, but don't go through the stress -- just roll downstairs and go for it.

Väldigt trevligt hotell med ett fantastiskt läge. Personalen mycket hjälpsamma och service minded. Vi hade halvpension vilket var mycket smidigt och maten var vällagad och mycket god. Traditionell italiensk husmanskost. Bra frukost utbud med båda varm och kall mat. Den som gillar sött till morgon kaffet kommer också att bli mycket nöjd. Vi kommer absolut att åka tillbaka.

Deuxième séjour dans cet hôtel. Propreté et services sont de qualité. Un bémol cependant sur la restauration et les dîners du soir, très très limite pour un hôtel qui propose un service de restauration. Les plats étaient de qualité bien inférieure à l'an dernier, sans réel intérêt. Une grosse déception pour ce séjour.

Nice hotel with a really good location, excellent views and good breakfast. Dinner was also really tasty and good service. But as usual in mediterranean restaurants the light is cold white and kind of a sterile environment. Probably better when you can sit outside.

fiquei dois dias no hotel, ambiente é maravilhoso, fiquei em um quarto de frente pro mar. Realmente vale a pena. Apenas ficar atento se pegar o plano com café e janta para não cobrar no final, no mais foi tudo perfeito. Recomendo

I had booked a single room with sea view but was allocated a room with a sea view only when I stepped onto the corner terrace. I made the staff aware of my concern and was then reallocated to a different room where I could see the sea even from my bed. All the staff from reception, cleaning to the restaurant were all very polite and helpful under the close eye of Luca the chef who was also hands on in the restaurant too. A beautifully positioned hotel for all amenities... I will definitely visit again

Private beach is a huge bonus. It’s cheap and cheerful, it’s not aesthetically amazing inside the room- but the views and atmosphere more than make up for that. Also, clean and friendly service so would recommend.
