The hotel had a smoke smell everywhere. The door to our room didn’t lock, so you could open it without a key. The pool area had 1 very worn table and a few equally worn chairs. Despite the property being non smoking people were smoking by the pool and throughout the hotel. Inside the chairs in the room, walls and carpet throughout were all fairly stained. The place really needs redone. There was no way we could stay therefor health and safety reasons. Fortunately the man at fhe front desk was very kind and refunded us.

The pool was crystal clear. All staff were overly nice and accommodating! Everything was easy simple. We had to check in late bc of storms which we called property and there were no problems said to be safe come whenever we could. Great breakfast! So thankful for everything here and our stay made it so much better!

I had an excellent stay. The people that work there were all very nice and friendly. The room was very clean, the whole place was very clean. The hallways, elevators, the room , the pool, everything was nice and clean . The room was big, the beds were very comfortable. If I ever need to stay in Alvarado, Texas again, it will be here. I would recommend to anyone.

The place was nice, the people friendly, but the lobby and halls smelled horrible on Friday and Sunday. On Saturday, the bad smell was not noticeable. It smelled like an oily incense, which made us sick.

My 2nd floor room was comfortable, the bed, sink, closet, refrigerator, tv were all clean and looked like they had been cared for recently. The shower curtain smelled very musty and smelled like it had not been cleaned ever. The chair in the room was very stained and looked like you could stick to it if you sat in it.

Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Upon entering the lobby there was a "clean smell" in the air. Room was just as described on web site. Only problem, but not a game changer, GPS location needs to be updated. I should have turned into the property where I thought I should have and not followed the GPS. I think I turned around three times.

Directions on Google maps were wrong. Led us to a rv sales lot, and we were locked in for almost an hour. Told the check in person and he said yes, it is a mistake.

Everything was great, great room and really comfortable. Great shower as well. I didn’t think the breakfast was as good as the people on here said. I had to eat at 6am because of some appointments that I needed to be at and the eggs were meh and not a lot of selections. I think they need to fix the way they provide their breakfast.
