Great hotel and atmosphere. I felt safe, and there is a shuttle to get you to Broadway.

Fantastic location with a shuttle to take you into the downtown area. The rooms were clean but are worn. Could use a facelift. Shower pressure was wonderful and water was hot. Staff was friendly and courteous. However we were charge an additional amount for having booked through Hotels.com/Expedia. So what we thought was a good price actually cost us $66 more! What’s up with that?

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was blah, no breakfast meat offered and it became boring on the 3rd morning. Nice service offering a free shuttle to and from downtown. Everything was super clean and the hotel was quiet.

Bad: Cockroaches, was charged the daily extra fee for a breakfast I chose not to have ( I don't eat breakfast!) when I booked the hotel on hotel.com, no way to charge my phone with a USB port in the room, and the shuttle service was horrible. I paid so much for Ubers, I might as well stayed in a more expensive hotel in the downtown area. Good: Some of the desk staff was super helpful! They had ice water in the lobby. The pool was very nice.

Charged 20 something a day extra for shuttle and breakfast fee. Surprised at that. Shuttle wonderful. First breakfast, only hot food was runny eggs. Second day, nothing hot, no milk for cereal even. Went to Mcdonalds after both days. Never paid extra for worst breakfast. Rest of staff and hotel very nice.

Good hotel for an inexpensive stay! Easy to get to downtown and they have a shuttle with good hours. Hotel is noisy and a bit dated, still a very good value.

Good enough for what we needed. Shuttle to Broadway downtown was AWESOME. Hotel staff during the day/early evening was NOT friendly and rather rude. The lady in the night was quite friendly, the others could learn from her!!!

It's a decent older hotel with free parking. They have a shuttle that operates every half hour.

People should have been made aware of cars being broken into. 3 cars in our 3 days make for an unsafe stay. We had to go to the front desk for bath towels no house keeping came to the room.my most upsetting when I checked in I was told they would put a $150 hold on my account I agreed with day 2 it jumped up to $240 hold i went to the front desk they said they would fix it. At day 3 it was up to $404 hold. I was irate when the manager said that she can not help. The hotel needs staff that can fix problems like this at all times.

A cockroach!!!! There was a cockroach in our room - promptly went and got a new room. But it’s a very dirty hotel. I didn’t want to walk around my room without my shoes on. Would never stay here again!!

The carpet smelled and we saw a roach on the sink.

Initial room was dirty. There was chewed up food on the floor and the tub had dirt and hair. Obviously was not clean.

First of all, I requested to be near two other families staying at the hotel and was told it would be no problem. One of the families was at the other end of the floor I was on and the other family was seven floors above us. Second, The carpet was extremely worn and dirty, my room had splattered God only knows what on two different walls, huge cobwebs or dust collections above the curtains, dead bugs in the AC unit vents and to top it all off.....I was greeted one morning by a MOUSE! Lastly, the continental breakfast served hard boiled eggs that were soaked in lemon or vinegar and were AWFUL! We ate at the little pub in the hotel one night because we were short on time and 3 of us were served checken tenders & fish that were so overcooked. Not just a little overcooked, they were HARD! So dissa disappointing!!!

We had rats in our room multiple times. Sheets were stained and dirty. Pillows had blood on them. Front desk staff was nice but that’s it. Cleaning crew said they’d change our sheets out. Just made the bed with the same stained sheets with the same blood stains on the pillows. It was a muggy feeling inside the hotel the whole time.

This property is old and outdated, the bathrooms are small and need many repairs. Our tub would fill up with water while we showered. The carpets in our room were sticky and the carpets in the halls were worn down and stained. No mini fridges. Ice had black specks in it which was probably mold in their ice machines.

Property needs renovations. Black mold in the shower.

This hotel has the potential to be a great hotel the location is good but it needs a lot of updating and upgrades. All the floors I. The hotel look bad the room furniture was very outdated and old the phones would not work. This hotel has been neglected. But the staff was great.

Our stay was good, but the room left a bit to be desired. The sink was right at the entrance - no privacy - with very little counter space. The bathroom was worn with a cracked toilet tank that also had a hole in the front lip. The bathtub tiles were cracked with evidence of mold or dirt in the grout and one rust spot in the tub's ceramic; the underside of the shower curtain rod was rusty.

The property is old so the bathroom was tiny, but it was clean and great location for our needs.

It’s a convenient location to downtown for the price. The shuttle into downtown was very convenient for us. Rest of experience was uneven however - some of the staff were friendly and some were borderline rude. We stayed for 2 nights and they didn’t clean our room which meant us walking down to front desk to get fresh towels (the shower was so powerful we had to use our towels to dry floor every time). The room was clean but felt worn out - carpet was pulling out near door and bed was in need of a new mattress.

My family stayed for one night. Everything in the room is outdated tub looked disgusting it had a yellow/brown tint to it. The tv didn’t work I called the desk she said maintenance would fix it but I wiggled the cord and pinned it so my kids could watch tv. Left and came back my keys didn’t work I told the overnight desk clerk and she was rude.

Buffet breakfast replenishment was slow. One day we waited 20 minutes for bacon. Another day there was no milk! Shuttle is useful and convenient. Housekeeping was hit and miss. Even though we left the hanger on the door for the room to be serviced, it didn’t get done!

The staff was not accommodating and dismissive when I asked for a detailed invoice. I always book 3rd party and it requires 1.5 min to flip thru menu to provide. I always get an invoice. Staff at desk talked about another staffer not doing there job. Sad customer service

I would never recommend this hotel. About a 45 min wait in line to check in. The key didn’t work I had to wait 15min because there were 5 other people with the same problem. The desk agents were rude. The rooms were loud. I ended up not staying the night. Since I booked through a 3rd party (which it seemed mostly everyone did) I couldn’t get a refund. Hopefully I get the $50 deposit back. Also If you call this hotel they will never answer.

When we got to our room the first night we found the toilet leaking and constantly running. The next morning we told the front desk agent, he said someone would be in there to fix it. No one ever came to fix it the entire week we were there. We were never 5old waht the room cleaning policy was. We saw everyone putting trash and towels out on the hallway, so we figured that's what we needed to do. We put towels out and they were never replaced. Went to the front desk one night and asked for a fresh towels. Was told they were in the dryer and would be delivered to the room. They were never delivered. Went down later that night and asked a different front desk agent to have our room put on the list to be cleaned the next day. Our room was never cleaned. Went to the front desk that night to complain and there was a long line of check ins because only one person wad doing check ins. Called the maidservice and customer service lines and n o one answered the phone. Complained to the guy vacuuming the hallways and he brought us towels. He also told us someone would come clean our room. No one ever showed up. This hotel is in a great location to downtown Nashville and other attractions. However be prepared for lack of service and the rooms falling apart.

Although I waited in line for a while upon check-in, room was so clean and the Serta bed was heavenly, one of the best hotel beds I've ever slept in! It does seem that they run on few staff so just prepare yourself for rather long waits for check-in or if you should have room issues. They have a shuttle to downtown Nashville that was just super! And if you have pets, it appears they have a fenced in yard.

Despite making use of the pre-arrival check-in, it took well over an hour to recieve our keys from the front desk causing us to miss our dinner reservation. Our toilet was clogged and unusable, no one answered multiple calls to the front desk, after walking down to address the issue in person, no help ever arrived. Refuse was left in several areas of the lobby from around 4:30pm to 7am the following day. No mention of breakfast being unavailable on mondays at any point in my booking or stay.

I am not telling you what you already know...the hotel is very understaffed! Hard to even work with the front desk when there is only 1 person working on a weekend. This could be a much nicer property if it was refreshed.

This was the WORST experience I have EVER had when travelling. After almost 12 hours of travel to get to Nashville, we arrived that the Millennium Maxwell House. We were "greeted" by a young girl behind the desk who informed us, quite rudely, that she did not have a room for us. Not only that, but there were no rooms in the whole city! She could give us a refund, but that was it. WHAT??! What good was a refund supposed to do, we needed a place to stay! The lobby had several other people also waiting for another hotel. At one point she told us that she was looking for hotels and that, when she found one, the management of Millennium would pay for the new hotel and also give us transportation. The girl was obviously overwhelmed and would often just disappear into the back room. There was no management on the premises and multiple phone calls were ignored. Some of the people had been waiting since about 2 in the afternoon. It was now after 8pm. While we were waiting we heard about luggage being stolen, someone being given a key to a room that was already occupied, and air conditioning that hadn't been repaired after several requests. We ended up finding our own room (paying more), and our own ride. I think we dodged a bullet by not staying there, but the whole situation was horrible. OH! The girl behind the counter initially tried to blame us because we booked through hotels.com. Others arrived who had booked through the hotel's website and they didn't have a room

Good location and the free shuttle downtown did save us a few ride share trips. The toilet and shower area were dated, but otherwise the room was ok. Good value for this area if you are willing to rideshare/shuttle downtown.

Close to downtown

Four day trip with spouse to Nashville for pleasure. Chose hotel as it was reasonably priced and in good location near major highways and about 1 1/2 miles from Broadway. Facility was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Continental breakfast was very good. Pool was nice. Hotel shuttle to Broadway was very handy. This is a real find if you're going to Nashville!

Great place, shuttle to downtown was nice. Good places across the street, dog friendly. Negative was room service and lack of towels. I had to go to the front desk everyday to get towels.

The room was nice, really small pillows on the bed, didn't like that. The breakfast was a joke. No hot food except waffles and there was no low carb options that I seen. They ran out of coffee a lot. Two morning in a row there was no coffee available in lobby or dining room. The bar needs some music options besides the piped in hotel music.

Getting electric shock while using the air dryer. They said sorry and do something about it. New airdry arrived. Nobody else is talked to us about any compensation for the shock that my wife received.

We stayed here from Thursday to Sunday and had a great time. The hotel was clean and the room was nice. The shuttle was very convenient, and the drivers were very nice We had breakfast everyday due to the price, $10 for a full breakfast was a bargain.

Although they claimed breakfast included, it is only available with money.

Neither the Restaurant nor the bar is open on Mondays and Tuesdays. No Restaurant or bar is within walking distance. Breakfast on Wednesday morning was very good. The general manager and the food and beverage manager were both on hand and very friendly.
