Hotel Zwanenburg Amsterdam Airport

Although the stuff were very helpful the hotel had no facilities not even a glass our cup in the room. There was not even a machine to get drinks or coffee. The air cons did not work and there was a sign not to use them. It is sad as this hotel must have been excellent 30 years ago as it has all the makings of a really nice place in the past. The rooms to sleep in for a night would be OK, for longer stays a bit doubtful, as there is no lift and if you have heavy bags, it is not great if you are on the top floor. As far as the area goes the shops were close, with a bakery just across the road but it didn't have coffee. There is a nice bakery just up the road we went to every morning that was small but really nice. Lido supermarket was 200metres up the road that was handy.

Man läuft ca. 20 Minuten bis zum Bahnhof Zwanenburg und ist in 10 Minuten am Amsterdamer Zentralbahnhof. Die Züge fahren im Viertelstunden-Takt und sind immer pünktlich. Einen Föhn sollte man dabei haben - unser im Badezimmer funktionierte leider nicht.

Room clean, fridge, tv, kettle by request. Sheets and towels clean. Hot water in bathroom. Heater works. Supermarkets and restaurants close. NO ELEVATOR. If you need the room to be cleaned you have to pay 15e. It's a one night hotel.

It’s easy to access the train station. You have to pay for air con as extra when you’re there. Which is fine we just didn’t know

Beds were single beds on a double matress that kept falling off we had a hole in our basin hole in the shower curtain toilet flush button was snapped in half its right over the top of airplane flight path and you have to pay 25 euro per nighr for the aircom

No toiletries, no glass in the bathroom, no bar, no restaurant - noisy generator, window and door didn’t shut properly etc. etc. Cheap but not cheerful 😩

The restaurant had apparently shut down a year ago so no food or drinks available. The room had bedding in that had what looked like urine stains on the bedding. The shower was full of mould, there was noise all night long. The place is not manned on reception from 9pm-9am so anything can and did happen. Expensive for what it is. Felt more like a dormitory with a hotel price.

Place is nice and located in a very nice small village-like area. It is quite far away from the nearest train station (1,5 km) and walking the distance after a long day in the city might feel a bit much. Highly suggest renting a bike or using Bolt (not the cheapest option). Lidl is close and there is a fridge in the room as there is no breakfast served. Do note that air conditioning comes with extra charge per day. It was necessary as the room was really hot during hot days.

Unfortunately the advertised bar and dining facilities are no longer available. A kettle for the room is available for a cash deposit.(Returnable )Also a cash deposit €50 or ID is required when checking in for the room key and TV remate (returnable) None of the above was mentioned when booking.

The room had mold and damp in the closet, they advertised a bar with pool table and restaurant, none there. On speaking to the staff to complain about the damp and ask to be moved I was told all rooms are the same . The photos used to advertise the property are nothing like the property itself. All in all it’s the worst hotel I have stayed at and Expedia should be vetting these properties more closely before advertising them.

Es gibt über die Unterkunft nicht wirklich etwas positives zu berichten, außer dass der Parkplatz kostenfrei ist und die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Lidl und Albert Heijn) recht nah sind. Negatives hingegeben gibt es einiges. Sauberkeit: Nicht vorhanden, die Handtücher hatten zum Teil Flecken, die Bettwäsche Brandlöcher, die Fugen waren schmutzig, ein benutztes Taschentuch lag rum, der Fernseher war fleckig, das Bad war die reinste Katastrophe. Lautstärke: Man konnte aus den Nachbarzimmern wirklich alles hören. Schallisolierte Fenster? Vielleicht galt sowas vor 30 Jahren mal als Schallisoliert, aber man hört auch von aus alles. Die Heizungsrohre (die sichtbar durch das Zimmer laufen) geben super laute, knackende Geräusche von sich. Die Fensterelemente bzw. Fassadenelemente sind vermutlich ohne Dehnungsfugen eingebaut, denn bei Temperatursprüngen knacken sie. Die Betten waren unbequem, komplett durchgelegen. Die Türen ließen sich nicht zuziehen, man musste abschließen (ich hoffe einfach es wird nie in dem Raum brennen, denn man müsste erst aufschließen um nach draußen zu kommen. Der "Schrank" war muffig und hatte Stockflecken. Das Badezimmer war fast gesundheitsgefährdend - es lagen zum Teil Kabel frei, die Fugen waren versifft und die Lüftung hatte auch schon bessere Tage erlebt. Wer Privatsphäre mag ist hier auch falsch, es gibt nämlich nur eine Schiebetür die nicht abschließbar ist.

Like price Not like overdue maintenance, Not very clean hairs in shower, floor not or badly vacuüm cleaned, stuf under bed from other people, no food in the morning, not even a cup of coffee was possible. Also personeel was complaining about Expedia which was not fair and even not true! In nodded and end the conversation.

En natt på genomresa. Ett hotell i väldigt dåligt skick och en heltäckningsmatta så smutsig att vi inte ville gå barfota på den. En liten kyl fanns, men om du vill plugga i TV:n så måste du dra ut pluggen för den. Ett värdeskåp utan nyckel och en trasig hårblås fanns också på rummet. Var tredje minut eller så kommer att lågt flygande plan som ska landa på flygplatsen och dundrar över taket (tyst på natten dock). Badrummet var i bra skick, med ett stort badkar. Just det, AC också trasigt och även låset till badrummet.

Clean room, simple check in/out, easygoing staff, great price, great location. Exactly what I needed.

Hotel hat ein eigenen Parkplatz. Das ist postiv zu bewerten. Hotel ist generell etwas schmutzig und runter gekommen. Das Zimmer ist auch schmutzig. Unter eines der Betten lag noch eine Unterhose rum. Um hier 1-2 Nächte zu schlafen OK aber für mehr reicht es hier nicht.

Erg verouderd en de prijs eigenlijk niet waard.

While there was a room for us and most of the things worked, we had to switch rooms after the first night (stayed 3) because there was a leak in the room. The closets smelled like mold, the hair dryers in the room didn\'t work, the window didn\'t close properly, the TV service didn\'t work. The planes flying over constantly during the morning and evening were hard to sleep through. The "patio" was non-existent/shared. The hotel is 20 minutes walking from the closest station which we didn\'t expect to have to walk every time but keep in mind there\'s no local transit options that we could see. And after all this, the hotel still refused to refund our second reservation we had for almost a week later. Don\'t get the "patio" budget rooms.

Not bad but in need of remodeling and maintenance. Sorta close to Amsterdam central if you're willing to walk a fair bit to the train station. One really annoying thing with the rooms is the automatic door closer, it starts out alright but within about five inches it slams the door closed (very loud) now imagine lots of people coming and going all day and night, you guessed it, no peace and quiet. Otherwise it's okay for the money.

For us lads the hotel was sufficient as we just needed a place to sleep. However if we wanted a bit more than this hotel lacks of sophistication and needs a major update. The furniture needs updating and the carpets. Overall we had a decent time there.

After reading past reviews I was very nervous about this hotel I had booked. On arrival check in was super fast and easy. Our room was on the third floor (no elevators) but not a problem. Our room was clean, clean bathroom with full shower/toilet/sink. Had soap and shampoo/conditioner. The AC was an extra cost but we actually didn’t need it with having the window open at night. With the reviews I read - not sure if we just got a cleaner room or a room that just didn’t have broken appliances but we had a pleasant stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed for a week. Short 20 minutes walk to the train station and just two stops away from Amsterdam Central. Very quick and cheap way to get downtown with trains coming every 10 minutes. Would stay here again.

4 nights there - without any service for the room. Asking for having the room rearranged the answer was "I have a lot to do and there are other 22 rooms waiting." (What??) No breakfeast, no info about where to get some (Houskeeper told us "maybe you go to "lidl" and by some things). Rooms are muddy, wallpaper coming from the walls. Beds were small and old. But 50 € Deposit for TV remotecontrol. Never will be booked from us again.

I was placed upstairs and do to my disability I can't climb the stairs I was asked to pay for another full amount before they can placed me downstairs nothing I can say will changed them so I left before I was able to arranged for new hotel it was 9pm going around with my lodges

the communication was really bad. they didnt reply when we messaged them, some essential information wasnt relied to us either. the hotel in on itself was fine. not amazing and could definitely be better. the lady in the reception was very nice and did a lot to help us with our problem, when we had had to sleep in the hallway due to our keycard not working for a night

The property was great, really helpful for out of hours check in. Great staff, clean rooms, quiet location and easy walking distance to public transit!

Staff was welcoming, explained rules clearly and provided information when we needed it! Parking on site was great. Location is nice next to a lot of restaurants and a short drive to Amsterdam city center!

De service was uitstekend! We hebben alles gekregen wat we nodig hadden en de receptionist was heel erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De kamer zelf is ook goed voor de prijs dat je betaalt, de hotel is op mooi afstand tussen Haarlem en Amsterdam, gemakkelijk te reizen met openbaar vervoer. Een aanrader!

We tried to contact the hotel before we arrived, since we knew we wouldn’t be able to check in before 9 pm/ during their working hours. We send mails, tried to call - no replies. The day of arrival we got an email that they will put our key in a box, since we will arrive late. They did not send us a code for the box, so we couldn’t access the key. We tried to call and ring the bell - again nothing. We tried the numbers on the box and were lucky to find the right ones after like 2 hours. The next day a woman from the hotel opened the room while we were sleeping. She said she wrote a message and tried to call us. Her colleague made a mistake. She only checked us in for one night and not as planned for 3. The next thing was that the room door was not able to be locked from the outside, only from the inside. So we had to leave the room open, when we wanted to go out. They fixed the door the night before we left. Our last night we met 2 ladies who said that they are also checking in late. They got the code for the box, but there’s no key in the box. When we told the hotel woman, about our difficulties and that we didn’t get the code for the key box, she said it’s the first time something like that has ever happened.

10 minutt med tog til Amsterdam Centraal. Litt lang spasertur til togstasjon. Ikke frokost på hotell, rolig beliggenhet med bakerbutikk rett over gaten og dagligvarer rett i nærheten. Rimelig hotell, heilt greit til prisen.

Facilement accessible en voiture dans le cadre d'un roadtrip, à 15 minutes à pied de la gare puis à 10 minutes en train d'Amsterdam, un bon point de chute au coeur d'une jolie petite ville.

Hôtel assez moyen dans l'ensemble. Les avions qui passent au dessus de nos têtes n'aident pas au repos, ni les cloisons très fines. la moquette dans la chambre, c'est pas terrible en matière d'hygiène. Durant les 4 nuits nous n'avons vu personne refaire le lit, nettoyer la salle de bain. L'escalier était très raide. Hôtel non adapté aux personnes à mobilité réduites. Les seuls points positifs, le lit confortable, le parking privatif

Hotel bom de uma forma geral, porém muito mais muito longe do centro de Amsterdam, pra quem tem esse interesse em ir sempre ao centro não compensa. Tem um ônibus que passa próximo ao hotel tem que caminhar uns 20 min pra chegar no ponto e acertar o horário do ônibus, se não vai ficar esperando muito tempo.

Det ligger i et relativt rolig boligstrøk, med kort avstand til matbutikker og noen enkle restauranter. Litt langt å gå fra og til toget eller buss, om man skal inn til sentrum. Om man vil oppleve hvordan det er å bo i utkanten av Amsterdam, kan dette absolutt anbefales. For min del burde jeg nok valgt å bo nærmere sentrum, siden man er helt avhengig av tog eller buss for å komme til sentrum. Den tiden man taper på pendling kan fort lønne seg å betale litt mer for i sentrum - men da kan støy bli et annet problem...

This hotel is outside amsterdam 15 min walk to the bus or train station and 10 min to amsterdam with train. Is a nice and quiet area.

Het hotel is in z'n geheel wat verouderd. Geen eet of drink mogelijkheid. Goede lekkere bedden. Vrij stil. Geen waterkoker of iets op kamer. Kamer was netjes. Kamer warm, badkamer frisjes.

10 minutt med tog til Amsterdam Centraal. Litt lang spasertur til togstasjon. Ikke frokost på hotell, rolig beliggenhet med bakerbutikk rett over gaten og dagligvarer rett i nærheten. Rimelig hotell, heilt greit til prisen.

Voor 2 nachtjes prima te doen. Geen ontbijt of koffie gelegenheid helaas maar lidl paar meter verder op en een heerlijk terasje om wat te eten en te drinken op loop afstand. Douche was niet heel schoon... maar kamer wel en bed was goed.

Dusche inakzeptabel, nur ein Strahl aus dem Duschkopf! Getränkeautomat im Flur nicht gefüllt. Keine Getränke auf dem Zimmer. Kühlschrank leer. Keine möglichkeit im Hotel getränke zu erhalten!

Chambre et salle d'eau très propres. Parking gratuit très appréciable. La gare est à 15-20 min à pied. Lieu sécurisé. Dommage qu'on ne puisse pas manger sur place alors qu'il y a une salle de restaurant (peut-être seulement en haute saison ?). Il manquait juste une poubelle dans la chambre/salle d'eau.
