We were very warmly welcomed by all staff. we enjoy the dinner buffet and also breakfast. However, as a foreign visitor it was unclear how to access parking and the elevator to the parking. We had to park temporarily in front and check in to get directions. Result from lack of information, we unloaded at street then parked underground hauling some cases upstairs (later found there was a separate elevator to the parking.). I don’t remember that information being shared with the online reservation although I sent several messages. Don’t get me wrong, this is a lovely hotel and staff we’re fantastic but management should provide more detailed information for travelers.

The main issue was that the air conditioning in the room was not working, despite the fact that the air conditioning was clearly functioning in the hotel lobby. When we contacted the hotel reception about this issue, we were informed that this was part of an “eco-saving strategy.” Instead of resolving the issue, they only provided us with a fan. Unfortunately, sleeping with the fan caused me severe neck pain (“fan neck”), which made me physically uncomfortable and seriously affected my day in Toulouse. This was not an acceptable solution, especially considering the weather conditions at the time. There was a heat wave in France during our stay, and our room was south-facing and exposed to direct sunlight throughout the day. As a result, the room temperature remained between approximately 23–25°C, making the room extremely uncomfortable. The heat in the room was so significant that even chocolate I had with me melted. In addition, the room conditions were unacceptable in several other respects: * The pillows were extremely dirty, yellow-stained, and had a bad smell. I have photographs documenting this condition. * The bathroom shampoo and shower gel bottles were completely empty upon arrival. * The overall room conditions did not meet reasonable cleanliness and comfort standards expected from a hotel stay.
