Very well located hotel near the beautiful "grande plage". Nice personnel. Tasty and variate breakfast. The basic room is quite small and the view is towards an interior staircase which is a bit boring. The sound isolation is poor as it is an old building so you can hear the water spooling from other rooms, can be annoying by night. Not exactly a four stars hotel, but ok if you count on spending most of your time outside visiting this wonderful city that offers fantastic sunset views and a spectacular sea. Could be practical if there were more hangers in the bathroom.

Balcony was small and not clean. Breakfast was very average. Room really small, but the view was beautiful. Lien for beds and towels need updated. Location great.

The breakfast was excellent!! But there stops the superlatives. One of the bedroom light switch had disappeared (physically missing), meaning that it was not possible to turn of the light during the night. The bedlamps were integrated in the ”headboard” so it was not possible to unplug a cable. We arrived back to the hotel at 2330, and after some reading in bed it was time to sleep. It was not time for asking for a repair so we had to sleep with light on. When telling the receptionist in the morning she said ”thank you for informing us” but she didn’t even apologise! The bed was bad, sitting in the middle it felt like if the bed should fell apart. It was very noisy with a worn out spring system that was singing a metallic sound. In the shower cabinet the silicon sealings were sitting loose. This is rather a 2star hotel than a 4 star hotel. There are much nicer places to stay in Biarritz, but breakfast was excellent!

Overall a relatively nice stay, location is brilliant and a good price for breakfast included. Improvements would be if there were more hooks/places to hang towels, the skirting boards were dirty, and our room was quite dark.
