Fabulous location! Walk straight out of train station for about 15 min & on the main square. Staff were very nice. Room was spotless! Bathroom was Perfect! All was newly renovated(?) I would stay again! Only negative: no lobby if you want to lounge. They DO have a luggage hold room & a breakfast room with terrace off of it. We stayed 1 nt but could be good for 3 nts as well. We have stayed at the mercure right past here next to the popes’ palace for 3 nts a few years ago & this was better!!

Cette hôtel est très bien situé, très propre, personnel sans reproche, seul inconvénient c’est l’escalier menant aux chambres qui est très étroit, mais si vous ne craignez pas les escaliers, cette hôtel est un bon choix

Perfect location. Room is small but the windows from our room overlooked the square. Beds were not the most comfortable. Staff was excellent. Many stairs, there is a small lift but mornings waiting can be a challenge

Location was great, very close to the old town. The only thing is that we thought the property comes with parking as it shown in the picture, but after we spend 5 minutes drive into the town and arrived at the hotel, we were told that only available parking was the underground parking palais des papes which the entrances is another 5 minutes driving outside the town. Good thing is that the hotel offers discount and we left our luggage at the front desk while we went for parking. Other than that I was very satisfied by the room condition, it’s very clean and has everything we needed,nexceed my expectation for a 2 star hotel.

Being inside the palace walls is an incredible experience. Parking is a little rough as the underground parking was far from the hotel. Cobblestone roads are not easy to roll your bags. But we loved our stay there.

Great location walkable to sights and restaurants, friendly and helpful staff at check in. Very clean room with nicely renovated bathroom and complimentary coffee machine. Only negative was the room was quite small, down a narrow passage and only had windows looking out on an interior stairwell and a ventilation shaft. Still a good value for the money considering the generous and tasty breakfast buffet was included in the price.

Ottima comunicazione per spiegare come raggiungere l'hotel in auto. Posizione centralissima. Pulito e buone regole di igiene (gel disinfettante in ogni angolo). Camera di dimensioni ridotte ma ben attrezzata con ottimizzazione degli spazi, dotata anche di macchina per l'espresso e tisane, biscottini. Aspetti negativi: colazione opzionale ma costosa (12,90€ a persona). La camera era calda, non circolava molta aria, i muri erano sottili.

Beim Check-in muss nochmals für einen Betrag von 30 Euro eine Kreditkarte belastet werden, doch mit Amexco, mit welcher man den ganzen Aufenthalt bezahlt hat, geht's nicht! Nur mit grosser Ausnahme konnte das bezahlte Zimmer doch noch bezogen werden. Allerdings strikte erst um 15.30h, da die Dame am Front Desk gerade kein Check-in mehr machen wollte, denn das Zimmer wäre sicher auch bereits um 15h bezugsbereit gewesen. Zimmer war dann eher klein, Ausblick zum ... schrecklich, teils nicht sauber und Bettlacken klebrig, schmutzig. Beim offerierten Kaffee im Zimmer fehlte die Kapsel. Innerhalb des Hotels eine Art Irrgarten bis man zum Zimmer gelangt. Preis/Leistung nicht in Ordnung, wenn man den schlechten Service und das relativ kleine Zimmer, welches zu wenig Abstellflächen bietet, beurteilt. Standort des Hotels wäre super.

Got the top floor rooms that are newly renovated. Clean, spacious, quiet and cool. Rooms included nespresso machine and safe. Great beds and newly renovated bathrooms. Location is perfect and service is friendly. Could not ask more from a hotel really. Avignon is also a great city.

Property is in an excellent location close to restaurants and attractions. Nice and spacious with a full tub. Not a fan of the 1/2 shower door where water inevitably spills onto the floor... although seems to be the way with most hotels. AC was excellent and also appreciated the ability to open the window. Unfortunately even with a request to the hotel to review, Wifi wasn't good for most of the stay. Overall a very nice and pleasant stay.

Hard to find and figure out parking. NO air conditioning! Front desk told us to open the windows, but people talking, smoking etc... made that impossible. If you are not going to turn on the AC, don't advertise it!

Le personnel très accueillant et chaleureux - La chambre petite mais agréable et très fonctionnelle. Le petit déjeuner buffet très correct. Un très bon rapport qualité/prix pour un hôtel qui plus est très bien situé puisqu’au pied du Palais des Papes - zone donc sans circulation automobile - un bonheur !

The front desk clerk who greeted us (Sorry I can't remember her name) was amazing and pleasant. Very helpful. When you return to the hotel, if after 10 p.m. , you must enter a code to gain entry. We did not realize this and rang the bell. The lady who came to let us in seemed quite perturbed that we had bothered her. Great location and great hotel, just don't disturb the night manager!!

I liked that the hotel was right in the center of things, easily walkable to everything. My only complaint is that my room smelled. It was hard to keep the window open, especially at night, because of mosquitos, so I felt as if I were suffocating. The smell was chemical and musky, very disturbing as if I was being asphyxiated. Otherwise, the staff were helpful and friendly and all was well!

Great location, easy to walk to from train station in Avignon Center. I had a lovely room with a view, it was very comfortable. I would have rated it higher but for several reasons: 1) when I went to check out their card reader rejected both my debit and credit card (using 2 different banks); they had NO alternate way to pay except cash, so I was forced to run to the bank to get enough cash to cover the bill just before I was scheduled to leave Avignon. This was very stressful and the ONLY place in the 6 wk I've been traveling throughout Europe where it happened. No problems with the cards themselves, just the reader. 2) there were a couple of cool nights but the heat was not yet turned on at the hotel. 3) there was no ice available at the hotel. No machine, nothing on request despite the hotel having a kitchen. Just things for future travelers to consider.

Cute hotel in a great location. It was lovely to wander the streets in the area. Staff were always friendly and the daily room cleaning superb (especially considering our stuff was spread all over the place. 😀)

Beim Check-in muss nochmals für einen Betrag von 30 Euro eine Kreditkarte belastet werden, doch mit Amexco, mit welcher man den ganzen Aufenthalt bezahlt hat, geht's nicht! Nur mit grosser Ausnahme konnte das bezahlte Zimmer doch noch bezogen werden. Allerdings strikte erst um 15.30h, da die Dame am Front Desk gerade kein Check-in mehr machen wollte, denn das Zimmer wäre sicher auch bereits um 15h bezugsbereit gewesen. Zimmer war dann eher klein, Ausblick zum ... schrecklich, teils nicht sauber und Bettlacken klebrig, schmutzig. Beim offerierten Kaffee im Zimmer fehlte die Kapsel. Innerhalb des Hotels eine Art Irrgarten bis man zum Zimmer gelangt. Preis/Leistung nicht in Ordnung, wenn man den schlechten Service und das relativ kleine Zimmer, welches zu wenig Abstellflächen bietet, beurteilt. Standort des Hotels wäre super.

Great location walkable to sights and restaurants, friendly and helpful staff at check in. Very clean room with nicely renovated bathroom and complimentary coffee machine. Only negative was the room was quite small, down a narrow passage and only had windows looking out on an interior stairwell and a ventilation shaft. Still a good value for the money considering the generous and tasty breakfast buffet was included in the price.

We enjoyed the hotel and being on the main plaza of the old town. The hotel itself was located conveniently to loads of museums and churches and the like. The hotel’s breakfast was a little underwhelming generally speaking - no real protein / meat options except bacon, coffee machine could have used some instructions on how to use it. Tried 3 ways the first morning before figuring it out, mostly because I hadn’t seen coffee pods like that before. Hotel bathroom was nice, bed was comfortable. Clean all the way around. The big issue was that we travelled in January. We only stayed 2 of our 4 scheduled nights, moving to Paris 2 days early. So much of the city and museums and churches was just closed or had limited accessibility, probably because we were traveling out of season. I don’t blame anyone or anything for this, it just made it hard. Also, it was excessively windy in Avignon - none of the research we did beforehand indicated that the Mistral - the north wind - was so rough. We had one day that was 45F / 7C but with 24mph winds. It was NOT fun. The next day was similar temp but 18mph winds and it was better but not by a whole lot.

This hotel was extremely conveniently located for the old town of Avignon, and even though it overlooked the main square, was very quiet at night. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the staff were very helpful. It was lovely to have A/C during this hot weather so the bedroom remained cool and comfortable.
