Coco Hotel

The lobby & courtyard are adorable. The rooms are simple but nicely decorated and the toiletries are great. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and would happily return for another stay.

What a wonderfully special hotel! The location was great, the decor and vibe was chic and friendly, and you have the convenience of one of the best cafes/bars downstairs with a lovely courtyard. Our room and window looked over the courtyard. I would definitely stay here again.

We would describe the Coco as "chic" and "boutique" in nature. Small and artsy, the Coco would probably more than hold its own in Los Angeles or Paris. Here are some things we particularly liked about Coco: warm, welcoming, and informative staff... location (particularly to the train station, meatpacking district, Tivoli, and Stroget Street)... some perfect hang out areas for doing some work or talking to other guests in the lobby and atrium...and bright and architecturally "cool" rooms. Here are some dislikes: we would skip adding breakfast to your reservation (very limited offerings and little to no variety from day to day)... you will have some pretty long and challenging walks to some of Copenhagen's attractions to the north and northeastern parts of the city... and no safe or closet in the rooms. All in all, a fun stay. We'd book it again...

Absolutely great hotel and the staff are all welcoming and friendly. The room was decorated in a quirky manor and it was very clean. The courtyard is pretty and lovely to sit in an evening. There is a DJ on till 10pm and every room has a window facing the courtyard so if you go to bed earlier than that, bring ear plugs. The one negative is the bed. Is so soft and every movement vibrates through the whole bed so something as simple as my husband scratching his leg wobbles the full mattress. Dont expect a good sleep. The hotel is really close to the train station so its idea to get from the airport.

Super sweet staff, good service, good wine and snacks and really good breakfast. Comfortable beds, nice and clean rooms, good water pressure, nice atmosphere, loveley backyard. Going back!

Supermysigt hotel på trevlig plats i Köpenhamn. Enda nackdelen var att de renoverar på innergården och det var inget som framgick när vi bokade. Annars en mysig plats att sitta.

The aesthetics and design of this hotel are so well thought out. I loved the attention to detail, and courtyard with live music nightly till 10pm. The buzz was wonderful and I loved the affiliations with other great businesses. I also loved the bike rentals - perfect for blitzing around town!

Lovely Danish design hotel close to a wide range of restaurants and central station. Lovely staff. Beautiful central courtyard to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. Rooms are simply designed with very comfortable beds.

The hotel itself is good and the staff are all friendly. The facilities in the room are not amazing (no tea or coffee making) and there was some noise during the night from the courtyard. The rooms was also really stuffy and does not have AC. We did complain to the front desk and they allowed us to switch to a quieter room which was really nice of them so no complaints overall. Would recommend booking a suite. The transport is so convenient and the bar and cafe are lovely.

Had a really good time there. The hotel is very well located, very stylish and super comfy. The staff is the friendliest. We loved that we could rent a bike and cycle around. Would 100% come back!

Big disappointment. I should have listened to the negative reviews . The only thing going for this hotel was its location and close proximity to the train station. Bathroom had mold, staff was not friendly at all especially the male receptionist, elevator didn’t feel safe , carpets were old and dirty. It really didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel . Will not recommend .

This is a cute boutique hotel in a convenient location but the service was pretty terrible. My husband literally cut his foot on a piece of broken glass in our room. Then the shower flooded the bathroom so we were unable to use it for the night. The shower was fixed the next day and bandaids were offered but beyond that, we were not offered any sort of compensation. A clean room and functioning bathroom should be baseline, esp at a nice boutique hotel??

Afløbet i badet var stoppet, så hele badeværelset var stoppet og flød med vand bagefter. Ellers var opholdet super dejligt. Savner dog at kunne lave en kop kaffe på værelset.

The rooms were clean and had plenty of space. staff were super friendly and were able to help me with any requests! Especially keeping my luggage before checkin and checkout so I could still explore the city whilst waiting.

Friendly staff and nice location. Unfortunately housekeeping did not check the room after the first night. Bathroom had almost no tissue. Had to get it myself from the hall the second day. Room keys are from the 1950s and need to be modernized. It was ok. Not worth $350 a night.

Dejligt hotel. Mangler basis service på værelset fx el-kedel så man ikke skal i baren for at hente en kop te. Rengøring efterlod en bananskræl i mit toilet. Havde åbenbart satset på den kunne skylles ud

Supersköna sängar, fin utsikt mot innergården, man kunde ansluta telefonen till tv:n och spela vad man ville vilket var bra. Lugnt och skönt. Badrummet var inte så bra städat när vi kom, det fanns hårstrån och smuts på golvet. En annan jobbig sak var att vid 07 började det borras och bankas på innergården, och höll på till klockan 10. Det störde verkligen vår sömn och vår vistelse på förmiddagen. Hade uppskattat info om det i förväg, alternativt att de kunde väntat med byggandet ett par timmar. Vi kunde inte riktigt slappna av på morgonen och njuta av vår vistelse.

Clean room, kind staff, and quick assistance when needed.

Lovely building and room, pleasant staff, good central area close to amenities. The breakfast options were pretty basic with very little choices- I don’t know if it was the case because it was Christmas or it’s their standard breakfast options throughout the year. The TV was losing signal often but that was ok. The enjoyment of my room was a bit marred by another neighbouring room whose occupants smoked inside, and the corridor and my room smelled of cigarette smoke for a few hours the first night and the next morning. Two members of staff came up after I informed them, they said they’d tell the cleaners so that they can trace the offending room but, when I saw the cleaner later the second afternoon, she knew nothing about this so the whiff of smoke continued until the next day when (I guess) the smoking occupants left. Overall a lovely boutique hotel but with a few snags I wasn’t expecting.

Charming old building with comfortable room & bath. Breakfast was really good (buffet style), and the courtyard was a fun area for eating or a drink. Staff were helpful & friendly. Be aware there’s no air conditioning in the rooms, but they were able to get us a fan to pull in the cooler night air.

Amazing hotel but impossible to sleep cause it’s so noisy. 3 time here in 2 months and each time placed in a very noisy room even with emails in advance. Leads me to believe that most of the rooms are very noisy.

I stayed in a standard double and didn't have breakfast at the venue. The positives include friendly staff, a beautifully designed cafe/bar area, and a wonderful location. However, I don't think the hotel lives up to the hype. The amenities in the room didn't justify the price tag. The standard double wasn't just small; it felt poorly designed. For example, why are there no coat hooks? A massive oversight, given the enormous winter coats most visitors need to wear. The clothing rail only had space for five coat hangers. There was a cupboard with shelves, but that isn't great if you have clothes that you don't want to crease. There was no fridge in the room, under the guise of being eco-friendly, but this is likely more about the small square footage and poor use of space. The bathroom was a decent size, but the shower felt relatively compact and had a 3/4 length fabric curtain instead of a screen, so the water got everywhere. The lack of underfloor heating and a single small bath mat meant standing water for a long time afterwards. There was no safe, which made me uncomfortable leaving valuables while out for the day. The mattress is very soft, which wasn't to my personal preference; however, the duvet was very comfortable. The bar was nice; however, people using it as a place to work at all times of the day and night definitely changed the vibe - seeing laptops everywhere definitely affected the ambience. In conclusion, I expected more.

Stayed at Coco Hotel for 5 nights during a solo trip. Always felt safe and comfortable in my room. I had a 3rd floor room facing the street which had pretty views and was only loud on Saturday night (lots of foot traffic and fireworks at nearby Tivoli) aside from the occasional scream from passersby. Got a little warm at times but the windows open so no problem! Bed was very cozy. Shower was a little challenging as water splashed all over the room but evaporated quickly. Shower curtain was a little orange at the bottom? One thing to note about the keys - you do leave them with the front desk every time you leave and ask for them every time you return. On one hand this is annoying for introverts but you do feel safe because nobody can just walk in and go upstairs without checking in first. Overall a great stay and very walkable to Tivoli, the train station, and nearby shopping.

Great location, unique boutique hotel with lots of character. Amazing, friendly and helpful staff. We had an issue with the drain in the shower, which they rectified within the hour. They helped us rent bicycles and gave useful tips on restaurants and transport. Fantastic stay, kudos to the team.

We adored staying in this hotel. The rooms were lovely and it has a fab court yard in the middle for drinks. The only bad part was we felt it was a little understaffed so you need to queue at reception or wait a little while for drinks. This didn’t bother us too much though, and we highly recommend to others! The area is perfect too!

Very cool and trendy hotel in a great location for restaurants, bars and more. Super easy to get to from the central train station and convenient if cycling everywhere. Loved the decor and staff were also very helpful and friendly. Only small minus was the room key system (handing in your room key every time you leave the hotel) which sometimes meant waiting at reception for someone to come along.

I travel frequently for work and stay at many hotels around the world, but the front desk team at Coco Hotel truly stands out. They were among the kindest, most attentive, and most professional I have encountered in a long time. It was clear that they genuinely wanted to make my stay enjoyable and that I felt welcome from the moment I arrived. A special mention goes to the woman at reception and the man at the bar, who both took the time to chat about two of my favorite topics—running and wine. Those personal touches made my stay all the more memorable. I very much look forward to returning.

We made a booking for a Junior Suite through Expedia months ago to ensure sufficient space and comfort for our trip here to Copenhagen. Upon check in on June 11th, we were informed that there had been a mistake and that we would need to move to a different room for the last night of our booking. Although annoyed, we were understanding of the issues that sometimes come up with busy weeks and online bookings. We were assured by your desk agent that the room we were to spend the beginning of our stay in was bigger than what we had booked, and that the last night would be spent in a junior suite, as we had paid for. When we arrived in our room, it was obvious that this was in fact not bigger than the junior suite. When we emailed the desk to ask about this, we were informed that we were currently in a family suite. This was not true, as we discovered on your website. The room that we were in was in fact one of your larger double rooms. On our last day, we had to pack up all of our belongings to move to the Junior Suite, which, upon seeing it, is definitely a major step up from the room we have spent the last few nights in. Understandably, we are disappointed to have been shuffled around and to have stayed in a smaller, less luxurious room for our stay.

Excellent. Yes the rooms are small but if you accept that you ll appreciate the attention to detail in so many other ways. Like, heated bathroom floors. The staff was excellent and the location is good. It’s on a very busy straight but only a short walk to the center. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel right in the centre of Copenhagen so great for all that stuff. The reception area and staff are nice and very helpful and friendly. I felt the room was a little basic but it’s modern enough and this appears to be quite an old hotel. Bed was comfy though and clean so all good.

Beautiful hotel. Wish there was a refrigerator in the room. The room was cold when I arrived. It would be great to get some notes about that we can turn on the bathroom floor heat and the heating in general. Bathroom lighting could have an ambient option. Also a dimmable bedside light would’ve been better. The breakfast is amazing and very healthy. They didn’t have decaf espresso, though they offered instant decaf. Overall, amazing hotel in a great location.

Under forventning både med renhold. service og standard. Reagerte også på en sterk ubehagelig lukt fra gulvteppet som dekker store deler av hotellet. Anbefales ikke. Bedtilte frojost her, drt er den enkleste frokosten jeg har fått på noe hotell.

Klen frukost med väldigt dåligt urval, som dessutom serveras i en helt annan byggnad och dessutom till ett oerhört osedvanligt högt pris !
