One of our rooms had people talking outside the door after 10. Saturday. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was clean. Overall, an excellent stay.

My room was comfortable enough, including the bed. The rest of the hotel is pretty grim. It was snowy and icy outside and the parking lot had not been cleared, making it hazardous to walk into the hotel The only elevator appears to be a freight elevator, and was freezing cold (cold air blows in there for some reason) and loud. The included breakfast was inedible. Really bad food. Didn't end up eating it. The front desk staff were polite and efficiently checked me in.

Second time staying here. Rooms are clean, beds are soft, pool is refreshing but their breakfast brought us back again. Biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, cereal, bagels, danishes, bread, yogurt ... Yes, I know, sounds like most places but seriously those eggs are done perfectly and the rest are just fine quality.

Easy access from the highway; walking distance to several restaurants, both fast food and sit-down locations; ample parking. With only 1 elevator, being on the 3rd floor wasn't the most convenient, but we made it work. All in all, a great place to stop for the night while traveling.

There was a bad smell in our room. We had to kill a beetle in the bathroom. There was a lot oh someone’s hair on the bathroom floor. Skip the breakfast, not worth it, even though it’s included.

When looking for an outlet for my charger, i noticed a pile of random trash and a used washcloth behind the chair. At breakfast the following morning, most of the hot choices were already gone at 8AM. When we complained about the room, we were moved to another room, where I found a used soap bar in the shower. The 2nd and 3rd mornings, breakfast was better supplied. Although the hotel is in a very convenient area, we'll lokely choose a different property next time. The best thing about our stay was that the desk staff were all very polite and helpful.

This was our second to last stay after hitting 17 states and many thousands of miles since March. And we can honestly say that this was the cleanest hotel we had visited. Met Yasmin, in charge of housekeeping, after we checked in and saw the room, and told her how clean and well- tended our room was. The breakfast and front desk staff we personable and helpful. To the hotel owners/managers, you have a great staff, and I hope you are appreciative of them and show that appreciation in their bank accounts. Ken & Sherry

The room had not been cleaned. There were stains on the bathroom floor, cut fingernails in the carpet, and when I turned down the bed, the sheets had obviously not been changed. There were a lot of hairs and stains on the sheets. While we were dealing with the front desk, trying to get another room, part of the conversation we overheard was whether or not they were going to sell that room to another person and it’s current state. If you choose to stay here, definitely check your bedding before getting settled in.

Property is pretty run down. Parking lot is lit up like a football stadium. Room is very dirty. The show had dirt footprints. Finger/Toe nails on carpet, clearly has not been swept. Location is close to restaurants.

All was clean and fine for an overnight stay. But, for any longer, it didn't feel very comfortable. Everything is small. The room was small, the furniture minimal, the bathroom is small (certainly all that is necessary, but...) the sink counter barely had space for a cup. "easy chair" stuffed into a corner wasn't very easy. So....not a place to hang until the next event.

Very new and clean, but very thin walls and so very noisy at night. Recommend that you get a room on the second floor. Nice breakfast service. Will stay again but will request a room on the second floor away from the elevators if you want to sleep peacefully.

Bring your earplugs—the walls are paper thin. I could hear every truck entering the highway and every word my drunken neighbors said when they came home at midnight and decided to keep the party going. And their 6:30 am alarm woke me up, but did not rouse them for an HOUR.

Very average. Do not stay if you are looking for quiet. You will hear every door open and close. You will hear every conversation happening in the hallway and the rooms next door. Luckily we only needed one night to pass through. It is close to a lot of fast food restaurants.

Overall a comfortable stay. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Only complaint I have was the size of the bathroom. Absolutely no counter space. This made it challenging to do hair and makeup with no place to put things.

It was a fairly typical hotel room with two queen beds. The bathrooms are very small and don’t leave a lot of counter space for three people to use, there really wasn’t enough storage space for luggage a very small closet and no real storage drawers. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was very quiet.

Without a doubt, the best rooms we had on our 10-day tour of West Virginia! The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, the room temperature was easily controlled, and the entire area was quiet.

The sound insulation of the room is not particularly good, and footsteps from the third floor can be heard while staying on the second floor. The mattress is very suitable for guests with back pain, as it is relatively firm.

It's a good place to stop if you need to rest for the night. One suggestion: ask for a room on the 3rd floor. We were on the 2nd floor and we heard every step the guests above us took with the creaky floors. Staff is very friendly, breakfast was your typical breakfast included fare, biscuits were very tasty. Easy walking to a few restaurants, and very short drive to tons more.

I got in at around 2 pm, I know that check in is at 3pm, I was going to ask if they would let us check in early but the desk clerk doesn’t even say hello, just started saying “check in is at 3, we don’t have any rooms ready “, and made us wait, when I came back close to 3, she said that they were short staffed. While I’m understanding that it’s hard when that happens I don’t expect people to be rude as it’s not my fault that it happens

Staff is absolutely outstanding and properly is very very clean! Ginny and Patricia were very friendly, made us feel welcome and very valued as guests. We met Shashi, the owner and he also took the time to talk to us and make us feel welcome! This Beckley Comfort Inn is the best we have stayed in all our years! We’ll definitely be back!!

The renovated property was nicely appointed with comfortable beds, nice bathroom and decor. The receptionist when we arrived in the evening was surly and cold as ice. Never experienced someone on reception like this before in all our travels, and as Expedia knows, we travel a LOT. Definitely not a person who should be greeting your customers. The breakfast was subpar with few healthy options. The rate was much less than the surrounding hotels and had great reviews. This is why we chose to stay here. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

This property was very nice. It was clean and well maintained. From checking in with Susan who was so helpful and brought a smile to everyone she greeted, to check out our experience was great! Patricia, who worked in the dining area, kept this area very neat, well stocked, and was quick to help you whenever needed! These two women are real assets to this property. The only thing we felt could use improving are the room lights. We definitely will stay here again whenever we are in the area.

We had called ahead to make sure latr check in was ok and we were told absolutely just come in when you get there. We sid just that and there was no employee anywhere for almost 30 minutes and then someone magically appears. Thus being after calling many times with no answer and physically walking every floor of the hotel with no employee to be found

Desk clerk couldn’t find our reservation even after we showed her our receipt. It took well over an hour to finally get a room. She argued over the phone with Hotels.com about the room rate stating it was wrong and should be Xxx.xx. We were like that’s between Comfort Inn and Hotels.com,don’t drag us into it, just provide a room for us as we just drove 10 hours. Terrible experience.

We were traveling north on I-77 and found this Comfort Inn to be very convenient to the interstate. Restaurants, gas stations and a Kroger grocery store were all close by and easily accessible. Check in was fast and the desk clerk was very personable and efficient. She made us feel at home.,Our room was quite comfortable and the flat screen LG tv was very large and great for watch the NFL playoff games! We’ll definitely stop again!
