Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Summerside

Elevator did not work. 60 year old woman had to climb 4 flights of stairs several times with luggage & no assistance from staff. Internet did not work, no TV without internet. Renovated rooms looked nice & were clean . Room extremely cold & took hours to heat up. Metal beds made horrible banging sounds when you sat on them but beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Not enough parking for the hotel. Main part of hotel was renovated but 2 building on either side of hotel looked like they needed to be condemned. Not enough room to sit in breakfast area. Was not told that a $200 fee would be added to my bill. Hotel listed as a luxury suite. Not by any stretch of my imagination is this true.

The elevator was slow.

The hotel is clean and close to things within walking distance. Great for that, but there’s not enough parking space for all of their clients.

Aluminum bed frames that made a large bang when moving in the bed , elevator broken , lack of seating in the dining area for breakfast, having to climb 3 flights of stairs with your breakfast due to lack of seating and a busted elevator is not very pleasant for people with disabilities. My wife carried our breakfast over 3 flights of stairs and she has a heart condition and i use a walking cane due to mobility issues . I was also totally amazed how a company would put a pedestal in the middle of a walking ramp for people to use with a disability issues. I walked up the ramp to enter your establishment and had to go around a pedistal , back on the steps and then enter the building with a suit case in one hand and a waking cane in the other. My experience staying at your establishment wasn't a pleasant one. I made reservations for 2 night's but checked out the next morning. I was totally disgusted. P.S you should really focus on extending your breakfast dining area , you cannot accommodate 100 people in a seating area for approximately 30 people .

Parking. It was difficult to find a parking spot at the hotel.

Lift not working

Elevator was old and very small. Minimal parking. Had to park in the street. Yelling and screaming outside our window from neighbours all night. Poor internet quality. We wont be back.

Single elevator wasn't working next morning. Breakfast area is downstairs in a hot & cramped space.

I had a great stay here. My husband, kids and I spent the night while on a work trip. Check in was a breeze, and the gentleman at the desk was great. We couldn't find any parking and it was quite late - he walked outside with us to find a spot. I think that's my only negative comment - very limited parking.

Only thing I didn't like was the parking. Definitely not enough when hotel is full

Arrived at the the motel at 1:30 and asked if we could check in. The clerk told us maybe in a hour. Bathtub was a thick yellow stain. It wasn’t washed properly in a long time. Wife opened the curtains of the tub and couldn’t believe her eyes and neither could I. Room was ok

The 2 beds in the room had multiple hairs on the sheets upon arrival.

Pros: Located near Spinnakers Landing. Looks like some renovations have been attempted. Great towels and comfy beds/pillows. Cons: Soap scum around tub, slow draining tub, poor lighting in room, no ramp to parking lot, sticky room floors, elevator in desperate need of update.

The room was nice until you entered the bathroom. The tub and shower needs to be replaced. The vent for the bathroom doesn’t work and the tub was gross.

Bed was ok. Had to ask a housekeeper to cleanse urine off the front of our toilet (which she didn’t do). Floor is LVP, but hadn’t been washed. Pretty sure we were two out of maybe six guests who stayed that night.

Looked clean, it has been renovated but done poorly when you looked around. Bathtub ran all night long, wouldnt turn off and tub/shower looked dirty/moldy. Tiles not attached to the floor, just sitting on top of old floor. Tiles missing from wall in bathroom

The motel was very clean, staff was pleasant and the breakfast was very good and had good selection.

We found the front desk very friendly and helpful. The facility itself was older and somewhat worn and outdated. The bathtub was stained and would drain extremely slow after a shower. The cleaning staff replaced our towels but didn’t clean the sink or shower and the bed was not made.

This property is dirty. The bathrooms are not clean. The tubs are stained and tile has mold. If there was another hotel in the area with availability, we would have left. The only bright spot was the kind and competent young man at the front desk.

Very friendly staff. Room was spotless and comfortable but bathroom is a little outdated and shower faucet doesnt work correctly but we were able to manage anyways. The elevator is very small,hard to fit the family with a hockey bag in hand but we just laughed and made it part of the memory. Breakfast was the usual offering, but they did seem able to keep it stocked for the group size staying at the hotel. We are pretty simple people, so none of this bothered us.

It is a very noisy hotel. Traffic and hallways were loud at all times of our stay. The interior doors between rooms are not sound proof at all the kids in the next room were screaming most of the evening and until we checked out. The rooms were renovated and looked very nice until you sat in the bed and the metal frames started making noise every time you moved. The bathrooms were very clean other then the tub it was moldy and silicone everywhere and the soap dispenser were never cleaned they were full of mold and dirt. The staff was amazing and very friendly and more than willing to help in anyway. The breakfast and area was top notch as well. Clean up the rooms and do some sound proofing and it would be a great spot

I was very impressed with the property. But it was not quiet. You could hear the people in the next room as if they were standing beside you. The beds had a metal / aluminum base they sat on. Everytime you moved it made a large banging noise. Not conducive to sleeping.

Room on 3rd floor was big and clean and quiet; but view blocked by roof. breakfast was same every day; but very good stay.

I was so amazing surprised by the room at this location. In the best possible way. I expected a small room with one queen bed, which is what we booked. We walked in, it was large room. Kichenette, large vanity place, amazing bathroom and two beds. What a great surprise, the only feedback I have is I took a shower at 6AM and there was no hot water. Great location, very limited parking and close to the boardwalks.

The staff were helpful. An employee even came to our room to help find a t.v program on our t.v. The bed was comfortable. However, it was on a metal frame. Each time you sat on the bed or turned over in bed it sounded like someone hitting a metal filing cabinet. Breakfast was mediocre.

Very loud , doors slamming , walls thin , tv's loud , talking , fighting .

Internet was not very good, and not to be able to watch cable TV was very disappointing.

Rooms in our wing were noisy. Location of ice was different building on the 3rd floor. Bathrooms where small room as clean Next time I’m avoiding a stay in summerside and staying someplace else.

This place was very close to the water. Nice & clean but walls paper thin. I heard the guy next to us talk on his phone & the other sides conversation !

I didn’t like the fact that the bed had a metal skirt around the box spring. Every time someone got in or out of bed, and speaking as a senior, 2 or 3 times a night, the bed frame would bang!

The staff were wonderful. We had no concerns with the hotel at all. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home

Excellent desk manager. Allowed early check-in due to unforseen circumstances. Even helped we seniors with the complicated tv streaming system. Nice breakfast and limited parking.

This place was truly awful. They are "renovating" the building beside the main one to have more units. I stayed in one of the outer units despite specifically requesting the main building. The first room was smoky and unclean. Dirty towels etc. I spoke to the desk person and he offered no apology just silently handed me another room key for a different room in the same building. The new room had a disgusting old.shower and tub. I was so tired at this point I just gave up. Do not stay here. Its terrible. Service is bad and they just dont care.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was offered early which was a bonus. Room was clean and reasonable.

We had high hopes for this hotel and were disappointed. The rooms had been renovated but the paint job was very poorly done. Our beds were not made and when we needed new bedsheets they were left in a pile. Rooms were not swept. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. We waited 10 minutes to be checked in with no one at the front desk.

Comfortable beds, everything you could need. But the staff were amazing. Kind, helpful & did everything they could to make us comfortable.

It appeared at check in and check out and the entire stay that there was only one staff working, She herself was very pleasent and was working very hard but the noise level was completely unacceptable and the tv and internet was not working, the staff was apologetic but didnt do anything to fix either issue I believe she was in fact very busy but it made our stay although brief very uncomfortable.

We did get a good night's sleep but a bad start to our day. The room was clean and modern, but that's where it ends. Laundry facilities were out of order, so we had to sit at a local laundromat to do our laundry. Complimentary breakfast was terrible. Poorly stocked with items, and both juices were watered down and were disgusting. Hot food was very cold. If you are looking for an affordable hotel, stay here. If you want to start your day with a good breakfast, go somewhere else. Upon departure the steps were not cleared after a recent storm and extremely icy. No efforts were made to salt or sand the icy steps.
