Charles Hope Plymouth

Arrived and door access code didn't work - had to phone and then it was messaged to me. The bathroom skirting boards were really dirty. The kitchen was really basically equipped with only wine glasses for cold drinks. Reported on arrival but no action taken. Property however was perfectly serviceable and comfortable with contemporary design. The walk up to the apartment car park was very hard work with endless stairs!!!

The premises was filthy when I turned up with the car park littered with trash and broken glass. The hallways are filthy and the carpets are badly stained. The keypad for my room wasn’t properly secure. Then inside the property.. the handles of the doors were almost hanging off and therefore wouldn’t close properly. The blind in the living room was broken and therefore everyone across the road could see directly in! No privacy. The shower hose leaked and the sofa was stained up. I reported the broken blind upon arrival and was told it would be attended to the next day. 3 days later and nothing had happened, despite me chasing ever day and being promised I would be dealt with. Location is good and WiFi also very good. That’s about it I’m afraid.

A fuss having to pay a deposit and upload id. The lock on my apartment was broken, I called customer support and they just said they would let maintenance know. Did help me feel safe and secure while I stayed. There was items of food left in the fridge from the previous tenants. The walls in the bathroom had some sort of grime all over them and the condition was poorly cleaned, felt a bit grime to be honest. Over all it is a nice apartment if they bothered to look after it. Oh did I mention I had 5 flights of stairs to climb to my apartment.

Received the wrong code to the key box, called them and then she gave me another wrong code. Had to call them 2 times to check in and enter the room

We had a fantastic 3‑night stay at Charles Hope Plymouth. The apartment was modern, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, making it feel fresh and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The amenities were excellent, with all the little details covered, so we never felt like anything was missing. It was the perfect base for our trip, combining convenience with comfort.
