We were beyond impressed with our stay at the Clarion Pointe Jasper! Formerly a Days Inn, the interior has recently been remodeled and was clean, comfortable and quiet. Wendy greeted us at the front desk every time we walked by and truly cared about our stay - we were visiting Holiday World and she even reminded us of the time zone change. The free breakfast from 6-9AM was great- on both mornings of our stay they had omelets, sausage, waffles, yogurt, cereals and assorted baked goods which staff regularly replenished. Our room was very basic but clean and the beds were comfy. Our room had a large mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker (the single-cup soft pods). There was also coffee and tea available in the lobby. For on-site restaurants, there wasn't one- the Latin Cuban restaurant attached to the hotel appears to be permanently closed. However, Los Bravos, an excellent Mexican restaurant is literally only steps away (there is even a staircase from the hotel to the restaurant parking lot). The hotel is also immediately next to an 8-screen movie theater. Other amenities included guest laundry ($3 in quarters per load) charcoal grill, various picnic tables and a dedicated smoking section out back. One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor pool. We stayed over Labor Day weekend and it was perfect! The water was warm and clean and there were lots of loungers to choose from and even a few floats and pool noodles. We will definitely stay here again if in the area!

Upon pulling in you can see almost every seal around the windows coming out. When going in they were friendly and got us checked in quick. We got to our room and it was fairly clean (nothing crazy but definitely stains and loose hairs. Upon trying to sleep the blinds would not close all the way so light is constantly coming in, even with a sound machine I could hear complete conversations in the room above ours, and our AC unit could not be adjusted and when it did kick on it sounded like an animal crawling and scratching around in it. It was insanely hard to sleep due to all of that. I didn’t personally experience it but k did hear multiple people at breakfast mention the bathroom lights randomly turning on in the middle of the night due to the sensor.
