This was my first time staying at Fairfield Inn. I was impressed. I had no issues with this property. The pool was small, but it’s a good size for kids to play and stand in (3-4ft.). I would stay there again!

This is the second time that I have stayed at this location. I liked it better the first time, but it was okay. I think it would be nice to have the breakfast hours till 10:00 am . Also once the food was gone, it wasn't replenished so there wasn't much to pick from. The staff is super friendly. It is very clean and smells fresh. The parking was horrible with limited spaces and having barriers by the train lot was confusing.

The property is newer and clean. Every interaction with staff was superior; they were all friendly and accommodating and you could tell they were committed to delivering a great stay for all their guests. With it being a newer property, we were surprised to find poor quality in the build: the wall paper in the bathroom had several peeling spots and looked like it had been pieced together in several spots; the plug in situation in the room was odd to say the least - there were no plug ins on or near the nightstand (who doesn’t want their phone charging in the living room area!?); the only mirrors were in the bathroom (the female in our party loved trying to do her makeup in the steam covered mirror); the steam in the bathroom didn’t vent out well; and the pool area was too humid and the smell of chlorine was unbearable (the kids didn’t mind, of course).

Very nice hotel overall. Only bad thing is the parking for the hotel is hard to find at night and is quite a walk to the main entrance. The entrance on the side of the building doesn’t work so you must walk to main entrance to go back in after check in

Proximity to a river walk trail was the property’s strength. Front desk and breakfast staff were very courteous and attentive. The hotel is understaffed in housekeeping. Checking in for a 3-night stay, we were asked whether we preferred our room be refreshed every other day or not at all. By the 3rd day of our stay, trash cans were overflowing, towels were on the floor but management refused to refresh our room. When I mentioned politely that we had elected an every other day refresh, the manager told me “ it didn’t matter what we were told.” They didn’t have the staff to clean our room. They were too busy turning the rooms for new guests and neglecting others.

We enjoyed our stay here! The hotel was very nice and very clean. The queen suite was spacious and the beds and pullout couch were comfy! We ended up with a super neat view of the river and mill. Didn’t use the workout room but it looked extremely nice! Breakfast was good with plenty of options for our family. Great place to stay if going to Holiday World — get the best bang (cleanliness, updated and free breakfast) for your buck! Would stay here again and it is in a super cute area of Jasper.

There was a long line to check-in however the employee was friendly. The bathroom looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned-there was a dirty towel & wash rag, the provided body wash was empty & there weren’t any clean towels or washcloths provided. I had to ask for those from the front desk. The shower curtain was ripped in multiple places & needed to be replaced. The carpet by the AC unit was ripped up & just looked trashy. There wasn’t a bag provided for dirty clothes either which is in most hotel rooms. The lobby looked nice & inviting but the rooms need work.

While the room was beautiful, the hotel was booked for multiple events. Saturday night one of the multiple room Bookings threw a large party. They were very loud and disruptive. 3 calls to the front desk with no answer. After the fire alarm sounded, the party finally quieted around 12:45. Then the gathering shifted to our floor with guests running screaming up and down the hallway for an hour. Still no response from the front desk. Guess our 3-day booking deserved less respect than the multiple room Booking. I brought it up Sunday morning to receive a shoulder shrug from the front desk staff. Disappointed that our rest and enjoyment were not as valued as the larger group booking. Frustrated. Great location. Clean facility. Great amenities. Sad we were not as valued.

Hotel was nice and seemed new. Great location in town right along the river and next to the Riverwalk and historic mill. Near brewery and restaurants. Only downside to our room was it felt very humid even though the AC was running. The room felt cool and damp.

We enjoyed our stay and it was convenient to all the events that we were attending. Breakfast options were good. Our only suggestion is to have an outlet easily accessible by the bed. We need CPAPs and we did not have an outlet that was easily found. After contacting the desk they indicated it was behind the headboard that was attached to the wall. Very little space to be able to plug in what we needed without crawling under the cabinet to locate it.

The staff was extremely rude…especially when they saw that I booked through a ‘third party’…it was something they kept saying over & over. Every time we would ask for pillows or a roll away bed…or towels…they would say they didn’t have any & because we ‘booked through a third company’ it would be hard to get those things. The hotel was beautiful & the surroundings were so pretty!

What an amazing find! Easy check in process. Super clean room and hotel. Very safe area for me and my two young daughters. The river walk is located directly behind the hotel. The mill and playground were fun to walk to. The front view had a train and two clock towers that were fun. I would definitely stay here again! Such a charming area!
