Parking situation is terrible. Due to concern over losing our already terrible parking spot, we didn’t leave the property.

Construction in the pool area

We didnt know the property had sustained so much damage from Hurricane Milton that it was under construction including the pool! The jack hammerring of the pool was definitely sad; we expected it to be operational. Additional bummer? when the parking lot and town was EMPTY we still paid $10 a day to park. I paid extra to book a "Hilton" and all I could say was what in the Kathy and Paris happened? As a former employee of the brand, what a sad story. The best I can say beyond the exceptional views is: you have an exceptional employee who has been w you 15 years. She is the BEST (western) you inherited when you purchased this property a couple years ago. She works day shift and is often in the breakfast area. I hope you treat her like the gold she is - she is exemplary!

The pool was closed and this was not brought to my attention when booking. Very disappointing. Also our balcony door leaked so badly the carpet was saturated for several feet away from the door. I let the staff know and they didn't really acknowledge the issue. Other than the dismissiveness to this issue, the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was just quick grab and go or cereal. Room was dated but mostly clean. Definitely not the cleanest thought. We will stay elsewhere next time.

Staff very nice and helpful. Place under renovation, new carpets, clean rooms, spacious breakfast included. But needs paint and parking is not enough. Pool has only one light at nights maybe because turtles season but nextdoor hotels are more illuminated.

Hotel is older but nice. One elevator out of two was not working. Not enough parking, had garage but too low for our truck. Carb overload breakfast, not much to choose from. Very large rooms, sturdy balcony, nice pool and staircase down to the beach was great. Overall ok, all our needs were met.

I don’t typically wave a review but I feel compelled to warn others. #1 no available parking for guests

Property was great location but only 1 elevator was working so that made going down from floor 7 quite the ordeal.

The Spark by Hilton and staff is great but the parking is horrendous. Since being named the Spark by Hilton you have to pay for parking whichin of itself is not bad accept there's not enough spaces, people make there own spots, line up along side the building and park and make difficult to get in and out. From the road there is no crear exit or entrances which causes backups. This holiday weekend was the worst ive seen, so maybe its only holidays and people in general are jerks. I know all the parking issues are not the fault of the Hilton maybe take some cues from the Hilton Garden inn but again i don't normally come on holidays or big events because People.

The room and the view great, the only thing was the pool was closed, and we have to paid extra for parking information that was not provided at the time of booking.

Fairly decent motel. They’ve gone through a lot of refurbishments from hurricane Milton. Our room was freshly painted with new carpet. Linens were white and nice and clean. Nice large room. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Nothing super fancy but clean.

Our room had several roaches in it.

Staff was nice. Roaches found upon arrival in the bathroom. Our last night we found one in the bed. Pretty disturbing when checking out and using a flashlight to look for something that fell on the floor and saw a lot of very small roaches. Elevators also not working.

The view from the room was gorgeous, the room was clean except for mildew stains in the bathtub and on the shower curtain and an air conditioner unit that was slowly dripping. The hotel is currently being renovated.

Great location, bad hotel.... it was VERY dirty. Dark black hair evweywhere, toilets didnt want to flush, multiple roaches, water leaking hitting us while we were on the patio. It says "room service" but staff made us go and get towels from front desk, wouldnt bring anything to ojr toom. Water refill station down with expired filter.VERY disappointed especially with it being Hilton, they're normally nice.

Gorgeous views clean room and facilities

Overall, the hotel was a nice place with a great view of the water. My critique is that the floor was filthy. I showered, came out, and was walking around for no more than 15 minutes before putting on socks and shoes; my feet were so black and had debris all over them. I had to rewash my feet. The entrance is also quite steep, so although I went slowly, it scraped the bottom of my car.

Friendly staff, clean room with beautiful view

Construction going on so no parking. Room itself was ok overall. Bathrooms had mold on walls and curtain and need replaced. Staff was short staffed but trying their best.

Overview room on 7th floor (716) is a beautiful view. Room was spacious. Bed was comfortable. Would stay here again. Breakfast is continental, bread, muffins, oatmeal, yogurt… nothing special, but better than nothing.

Got a room with balcony by the ocean. It was great very spacious. It was six of us in a room and we were very comfortable right on the ocean. Staff was great. I was able to check in early and check out is at 12 which was great with kids. Everything was nearby. Great time at the beach.

This is a wonderful affordable hotel right on Ormond Beach. The staff is amazing. The rooms are clean and the beds are very very comfortable. There’s a view of the ocean from every room. We enjoyed our stay and we would definitely return.

This is a midrange hotel. We stayed here because of the location - close to our son - and the price. It's a notch below a Hampton Inn - motel style outdoor entrance to rooms. It has a refrigerator but no microwave or coffee maker. The beachfront room had a perfect view of the beach and ocean. Our room had 2 queen beds and a pullout sofa and was a bit larger than average. The bathroom is basic and the tub stopper was broken. Due to the front window next to the door, the room is not super dark at night. I covered ours with an extra beach towel we brought with some large binder clips - otherwise, I would have slept with a sleep mask. A blackout curtain would be a good improvement to the room. The room was clean and they serviced it lightly every 2 days - fresh towels, made the beds, took out the trash, and did a quick vacuum. The overall cleanliness of the property was fair. If the guests were more considerate, I am sure it would have been better, but too many guests were careless with trash and food in the hallways. The breakfast offered was free but very basic - coffee, bagels and cereal. The only other significant issue is the parking. During the week, it's mostly adequate, but on the weekend, it fills up fast. We always figured out a spot, but I suspect several guests parked somewhere off property. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. If price and an ocean view are your biggest priority, its a good choice.

Room 520 - sink didn't drian / no lights over the sink (makes it hard to take your contacts out.) Door was hard to open and close. They only had 1 elevator working, we waited 15 minutes before we could actually get our stuff in when we left. No breakfast which is one of the reasons we booked. No microwave or coffee maker in the room.

It was very nice. Only overnight stay, so we didn’t get to go out to the beach. Unfortunately, there was not a microwave in the room, no complimentary water.

Staff was very friendly, rooms were bigger then expected and an amazing beach view!

Overall good stay. Walls are thin, we could hear the next door rooms TV.

Nice property right on the beach you cannot beat the price and wonderful location. The maintenance crews keeps the pool area clean and tidy - plenty of chairs and tables to enjoy your lunch ! Clean rooms but they need to improve the bathrooms too small and out of date and needs remodeling. Beds were clean and comfy

The room was a very nice size and I really enjoyed being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view of the ocean. The two issues that we had were parking and the fact the room did not have a microwave. The parking issue was mainly due to work being done after Hurricane Milton so it was understandable but still inconvenient. Although there was a microwave in the lobby for guests to use, a microwave in the room would have been a much better option. All in all the stay wasn't bad considering these things

Great location, right on the beach. We were only there for one night but we enjoyed our stayed. Our room was really nice and had a balcony that opened up to a beach view. Clean rooms. However what stood out the most was the amazing service by the front desk staff when we checked in. JEFF went above and beyond with his excellent customer service. It was late and usually check in at a hotel is tedious. Jeff made it quick and was very friendly. Thank you for your help and conversation over Radiohead during the check in!

My experience I purchased (2) rooms from Expedia and added a note asking could they be close to one another. I booked for two adults and four children under 15, check in is at 3pm… We enjoyed a couple hours on the beach then I walked into the hotel to check in at 4pm. I was only given one room at this time an hour after check in, I was then informed they were still cleaning. Around 6 we returned for the other room. They put one room on the 7th floor and the other on the second floor. We have four kids with us , I asked could they possible help getting us closer? We were supposed to have two rooms each having two queen sized beds. They made some arrangements and placed us on the second floor but each room only had one King bed no pull out couch, definitely not two queen beds. I called the front office explained the situation then they wanted to send us back to the 7th floor where we just came down from. I gave up and just said we’re done moving our belongings back and forth we just want to get settled. We made beds on the floor for the kids. Then at 9pm they checked a random person into the room our kids were sleeping in!!!!!! My daughter came over panicked. I just can’t understand how everything was so disorganized. The person helping us even sent another staff member upstairs to check the rooms before hand , to make sure they had pull out couches. He came back into the lobby assuring they did, ????? Where did the pull out couch go ???

Worst service ever. The room was supposed ti be clean every day whuch stayed in Expedia page. And it was barely other they at our stay. Very rude staff including manager

I was there at 2.45 to check in the gentleman told me here is a parking pass your room will be ready in ten minutes after 20 minutes later he left and then a young woman told me almost ready it will be another 10 minutes after waiting another half hour then she said I will be another few minutes I know it was a busy weekend but to spend 200 dollars and waiting until 4.30 to finally get my key waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes my kids were so upset by that time it was starting to get bad weather and never got a chance to even go to the pool and enjoy also the pull out couch had no sheets on it took to me asking 3 times then still nothing to which I went downstairs at 9 o’clock to get them myself. There was a lot of people also in my same situation and hotel didn’t even give us any kind of discount or anything I paid to check in at 3 to enjoy the day not at 4.30 just very upset and disappointed with my experience

Everything was good, except it felt like when I was speaking to the clerk in the front that I was an inconvenience to her. We booked and checked in on line, picking our room. The clerk changed it without telling me so we had to deal with getting what we picked. It just seems to me that as a Hilton, customer service and satisfaction would be the norm, not the exception. We love the location and the long term staff like Patty and Chico, praise to them, but the others really need a lesson on the importance of treating the guests as guests, instead of an inconvenience.

It was an average stay. The room was nice but our king room had a view of the garbage dumpster which smelled foul, so we didn’t get to use our balcony. Charging for parking is so annoying because they don’t even have enough for all guests to be able to park. The elevator was broken so that was annoying and the room service staff is unprofessional and they do not care about the guests staying there. We had issues with a couple of them. (Ex. Rudely cutting the group of people trying to get on the only working elevator with their dirty towel cart which is huge and proceeding to say “you can get the next one”, they hogged the entire walkways on level 4 with their carts and when we asked them to move the cart just a little so we could get by with the luggage cart the cleaning lady proceeded to roll her eyes and shrug us off.) will probably not be staying here again. *** LOWER CARS BEWARE**** The parking lot entrance is rough and not sedan friendly.

Excellent front desk staff

From the time I walked in to register, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Patty was exceptional at her job. Room was very nice and clean. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Checkin took 2 hours (3:30-5:30) because front desk employee couldn't find a room that was ready. Not just us with problems at the front desk. Breakfast is an overstatement. Just bagels and coffee/orange juice. Only had powdered creamer or hazelnut. No coffee maker in room. Really sparse - should rename as "Stark" hotel.

Mikey and Sean at the front desk went above and beyond. Staff is so pleasant to deal with. Smile on their face the whole time. First room i checked into had an AC leak so i called down and Mikey literally met me at elevator to give me the new keys to the room next door. View was breathtaking.

i like that is further from all the noise of downtown, nice resturants to choose from, easy in and out, snacks u can buy in checkin area if u don't want to run to the store, and a couple of souvenir shops close by, all good

Good location. Kind employees. On beach.

The property was really nice, spacious, and right on the beach. It was beautiful.

It was a perfect spot for a vacation with kids. Steps from the beach, close to restaurants. Only downside is beach in front of hotels is not pet friendly but there’s one .5 mile away.

Like a lot of hotels in this area, this hotel is a little past its prime. Everything is clean, but run down. If you're expecting an up to date room, this is not the place. Still, it's RIGHT on the beach and the room was spacious with a great view of the ocean.

The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The room was comfortable. The bed was comfortable. It was coneniently located

The overall staff experience was amazing. They really help to accommodate me from start to finish. The area was perfect next to all our favorite shops and dining. I enjoyed the pool, balcony view to the ocean and the easy access to the beach.

This hotel has the perfect location if you are looking to stay on the beach!

Hotel was nice. Bottom tier of Hilton. Nice shower, pump bottles of shampoo, bodywash and conditioner. Bagel bar breakfast, good coffee. Bad: huge, huge, huge ocean front patio with too few tables and too few lounges. Parking! When you check in you find out that you need to pay to park and keep a tag on your dash. They have above and garage parking. There was a soccer tourney in town and many of the families stayed at the property which meant overflowing trash cans and bags of trash left outside rooms. Staff was stretched thin trying to keep up.

Hotel is decent. However overpriced for what it offers. The pool area is under renovation so what you see on the pictures are not what you will see when you arrive. The room was okay. Clean . Confy beds . No microwave in room and bathroom needs remodeling. Also the AC was not working properly as it was hot at night. There was drilling noise during the day looks like they are also renovating or repairing other rooms. The hotel areas are small. Breakfast is not good and although they accept dogs there’s only one tiny fake grass area to walk your dog. The hotel needs improvement. Front desk check in lady was very nice.

The staff was extremely friendly, but they ran out of beach towels constantly, and the breakfast included was coffee, orange juice, and water, bagels, muffins, and apples. There was cereal, but there was no milk. There was a yogurt machine, but it was broken and that was it, very disappointing, especially if you can’t have any kind of bread because that’s all that was offered.

Breakfast options were just cereal and bagels. Upon arriving there was a horrible sewer smell near the elevator. In the room we had issues with our TV and it took them a while to try and resolve.

Need more lights at the pool at night time. Also needs better breakfast. Only had bagels and cereal 🙄

Overall we had a great stay, the view is absolutepy perfect and our room was very clean. We had a 5 day stay. The breakfast was ok. The juice machines were down and juice was given out in pitchers. It was prett watered down. Out of our 5 days, they were out of milk for cereal. We made do. Both of the elevators were having issues, one got stuck at the 2nd floor with an alarm for a day. Button 6 went out of the other elevator. We extended our stayvto include the extra day and it was done smoothly with no issues. All of the staff that we encountered were extremely kind and helpful. Pool was cleaned out everyday. Overall, we would stay again. We had a wonderful time and were right across the street from a dinner and a souvenir shop.

Adding Eggs and Sausage as Hot options would be great.

What staff? Breakfast wasn't good at all. It was just little snacks not breakfast, We wanted the regular breakfast as it said in the ad.

Prepare for breakfast off-site not much in that dept

The hotel is clean and safe. Great location. The breakfast leaves much to be desired. Only bagels available. A great variety of bagels, but only bagels. Not helpful if you eat gluten free.
