I cannot emphasize enough how incredibly adequate this hotel is. We mainly needed a place to shower and sleep while attending nearby event. The room had the clean towels, hot water, and 2 beds that we needed. They DO NOT have an elevator, and the only double rooms were on the 2nd floor. I have difficulties with stairs, so my teen brought all of the luggage up, and instead of going out for dinner, we ordered delivery to the room -- we made it work! The breakfast, like the room, was adequate. Fresh fruit, juice, an assortment of bread products (with a toaster available) and pastries, coffee, cereals, hot water for packets of oatmeal and tea. The staff, though. Wow! The 2 people at the front desk were so pleasant and helpful. It looked like they only have 4, maybe 5 people doing EVERYTHING, but they seem to have a system that works. Oh, and even though I struggled with the stairs, the view from our window was BREATH-TAKING!

Incredibly helpful staff. Ample, well-lit, open parking. Close to town square. Close to other tourist sites. We had a medical emergency while there. The staff, especially Tommy from housekeeping, were there in an instant helping to stabilize the situation, access care, and calm my elderly mother. Her help was absolutely essential to Mom’s comfort and safety.

Free parking was plentiful. There is a heck of a turn at the entry / exit to the parking lot and traffic moves very fast. Use caution. The female clerk upon check in was very polite but failed to state the hours when breakfast would be available. The hotel did appear to have residents living there on a monthly basis. Once in the room, the shower and the shower curtain were very dirty. The light in the bathroom was very dim. The bathroom was stocked with the worst and roughest toilet paper ever. The area around the hotel was fairly quiet. We didn’t swim, but the outdoor pool looked very clean and well cared for. We tried the free hotel breakfast but it included only bread and muffins with some beverage options. It was not a hot breakfast bar. Luckily, the hotel was conveniently located next to McDonalds. Upon checkout, the male attendant was very rude and seemed annoyed that he had to hang up his cell phone to assist. When I asked for a receipt, he said I’d receive a third-party receipt.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Handicapped parking was very minimal, and the location of the handicapped spots made one of the two spots impossible to use unless you have a very small car.

Great overall stay. Staff was amazing and the location was perfect. Our bed was a little worn but not bad enough to ask for another one. The AC worked amazing and although we didn’t use to pool it looked very clean.

All the chairs at the pool were broken and there was lots of very visible mold in the pool. Most of the outlets in the room did not work. There were bugs in the bathroom and it was poorly lit. The water in the bathtub did not drain well so it would pool at the bottom. We didn’t expect anything amazing but this was pretty gross. We also requested towels and they questioned me about why I needed more towels. Are they on towel rations? We ended up checking out 2 days earlier than planned.

When we made reservations, we took in consideration that our grandson would be able to use the pool, it was included in the description of property. We found out after putting on bathing suits that the gate was locked and we were told the pool was closed. That ruined the stay for the grandson! He had high hopes!

Towels had stains. Lamps were dusty. Spit on faucet. Hairs on toilet. Bathroom run down. Outside smelled. Carpeting looked old. It was cheaper than other hotels. I did not feel unsafe. But I would not stay here again.

I had two rooms and we did not even stay. The Days Inn in Dahlonega should be shut down. It is nasty. When you walk in rooms they smell like mold and cigarette smoke. I was told there is no smoking! The bathroom is so gross with black mold all around tub- coffee maker so gross you can not use. I pulled back the comforter and the sheets looked slept on with hairs on them. Both rooms were so gross we went to our event and drove home at midnight. I would not sleep in those rooms!!! So gross!!

When we arrived the room was dirty, the sheets had stains and hair on them. My wife went and told the front desk and there solution was to hand her sheets for us to remake the bed ourselves. The next morning we had a do not disturb sign on and the front desk guy knocked on the door and said they are coming in because a hot tub in another room needs to be fixed and that has to be done from our room. I informed him of the sign I hug on the door and he proceeded to bring his repairman in and start to work. We packed up and left right then. Still hoping for a refund for the remaining 3 days we paid for.

I wished I would’ve taken pics but I didn’t. There were finger smudge marks on ALL the mirrors, above the jacuzzi, above the sink and above the desk. Window was cracked a good 4 feet and repaired by clear packing tape. The jacuzzi was filthy, between soap scum and only God knows what else. You could tell they just “straightened up” instead of actually cleaning the room. There was hair and dirt from previous occupants on the floor and bathroom counters and this was supposed go be one of their “better” rooms. Dahlonega is such a beautiful place but this hotel needs a MAJOR remodel and upgrades. A hotel room shouldn’t feel gross and disgusting.

Front Desk employee was very nice. there was a plastic bag stuffed in the shower wall to fill a hole. Generally not clean. Spots on comforter, somebody else's leftover razor cover in shower Missing lights and loose wires above sink, Floors were sticky with some kind of wax/cleaning product and the room smelled terrible. I took pictures but not sure how to add them.

Noticeable smell- not pleasant. If it wasn’t so late and we weren’t exhausted, we would have found somewhere else to stay. Then we noticed there was hair in the beds, and in the morning, we noticed hair on and in the bathtub. And a roach crawled across the bed. Definitely will not stay here again.

We stayed on the 2nd floor in room 214. It has a huge picture window that looks out at the mountain range. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. It is an older hotel but neat and clean. In my opinion, a great value for the money we paid.

Dated building in need of TLC. Reception desk staff are very pleasant but language barriers exist. Had an issue with the first room and they were able to switch us to another - second room hot tub leaked when used. Patched walls needing paint and large gaps under doors had us wondering what may slither under in the night. Basic bed to sleep in for the money.

The floor was dirty, would not walk on it barefooted. Toilet was loose from the wall & wobbled. Reserved a smoking room on the website, get there, it’s a non smoking hotel. Need to update web-site! It offers non-smoking rooms, so you assume there are smoking rooms. Person at desk was kinda rude about it!

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! We had booked a room at a different place and it was horrendous, so we booked a room here at the last minute. It was leaps and bounds better! I could actually take a shower here and I wasn't afraid to sleep under the covers. It was very convenient in the location department as well. I would for sure go back.

Incredibly helpful staff. Ample, well-lit, open parking. Close to town square. Close to other tourist sites. We had a medical emergency while there. The staff, especially Tommy from housekeeping, were there in an instant helping to stabilize the situation, access care, and calm my elderly mother. Her help was absolutely essential to Mom’s comfort and safety.

On a road trip heading west, visiting family in the area, choose this cute little town of Dahlonega to stay a few days. The days inn was the perfect location for the price, nothing fancy but quiet and clean, all staff members very nice and friendly. We would stay here again 😊

I cannot emphasize enough how incredibly adequate this hotel is. We mainly needed a place to shower and sleep while attending nearby event. The room had the clean towels, hot water, and 2 beds that we needed. They DO NOT have an elevator, and the only double rooms were on the 2nd floor. I have difficulties with stairs, so my teen brought all of the luggage up, and instead of going out for dinner, we ordered delivery to the room -- we made it work! The breakfast, like the room, was adequate. Fresh fruit, juice, an assortment of bread products (with a toaster available) and pastries, coffee, cereals, hot water for packets of oatmeal and tea. The staff, though. Wow! The 2 people at the front desk were so pleasant and helpful. It looked like they only have 4, maybe 5 people doing EVERYTHING, but they seem to have a system that works. Oh, and even though I struggled with the stairs, the view from our window was BREATH-TAKING!
