FairBridge Inn Express Nyack

First, The Hotel is Two (2) Stories High and is NOT a Large Hotel. There is NO ELEVATOR in The Hotel. If You have difficulty Walking Up and Down Stairs then Definitely Request a room on the First Floor!! The Building itself is Older - as many of the Smaller Hotels/ Motels throughout America are - especially those which were at One Time Ma and Pa Owned. HOWEVER, The Individual Rooms are Clean and so are the Common Areas of Fairbridge Inn. Additionally, The Bathrooms are Clean and the Plumbing all worked. All the Employees I personally Encountered were Very Gracious and eager to assist in any way they could. This included The Front Desk Personnel, the Maids, and even the woman working the Breakfast Dining Area. Everyone of them was Polite, Professional, and acted as though they wanted me and My wife to Enjoy our stay at Fairbridge Inn. I guess I should mention the bedding as both my Wife and I AGREED(which is Pretty Phenomenal itself) that the King Size Bed was both very Clean and COMFORTABLE - Quite a Feat Fairbridge - We also AGREED we Would Gladly stay there again!!!!

Room was clean but worn. Beds "clunked" when you sat down on them. The smells in the hallway and common areas were terrible. Ample parking, close to amenities.

No elevator had to carry my suitcases upstairs

Rooms seemed to be well kept up, everything worked well. We had a problem with the TV and staff was very responsive, even moved our room. Breakfast was a little limited but more than adequate. Plenty of parking. The surrounding area isn't beautiful, but it is safe and has great access, we were coming from the Hudson Valley and wanted quick access to Newark airport. Overall, we were pleased with our choice.

This property was clean and had your basic needs. It did not have any amenities, but was a good value.

Overall we had a good stay. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast area though small, had a good variety of options to choose from. Our room had painters tape on broken pieces of the floor and we had issues with cable for half a day. Once the front staff was notified about it they came right away to try and fix it and was ultimately fixed. Bed was comfortable but could’ve used a heavier comforter as there was thin sheets and a large blanket on bed. Drink machine was down in vending area, seems like the hotel has some updating they are in or need to do. A/C was great and worked very well.

The location is good. There is no elevator to the second floor.

The rooms are always clean, the staff if friendly, the room is comfortable. We have stayed here many times, and it is a good value for the price. We never had the breakfast, so I can't give an opinion on that.

Fairbridge Inn Express is a clean, safe, convenient, reasonably priced place to stay for travelers. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for easy access to dining, shopping and access to the NYS Thruway. They provide a variety of breakfast foods and coffee in the morning and daily room cleaning. We enjoyed our stay.

I was disappointed to find out this facility is a super 8 or once was and was alarmed that the attendant was barricaded behind an acrylic glass. Ran into a number of issues that I did not expect. My reservation was for a room with accessibility accommodation and yet the attendant tried to give me a room on the second floor that didn’t have an elevator. After informing him of his error he gave me a room on the first floor but all the way in the back of the facility. I reserved a non smoking room and upon entry it smelled like smoke. The facility was pretty much empty with no cars but the attendant decided to put someone right above that stomped all night. Aside from the rusted shower rod and the microwave buttons full of grease and fingerprints and the room smelling like cigarettes, the room was fairly clean. The breakfast was very simple.

It was a brief overnight stay on our way home. The room was clean and spacious. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful on our check-in. At first it looked like the sheets were dirty, but when we called the desk clerk he came and showed us that the sheets were thin in the dark areas, and we were seeing the blanket through the thin places in the sheets. It took him a few minutes to arrive. He apologized for being late, but he was the only one there and had to attend to other things first. Breakfast was basic: cereal, bread/toast, yogurt, and a waffle machine. Those were good enough for us.

Convenient to NYS thruway and close to shopping and restaurants. Property and room were clean & tidy. A nice small breakfast was served enough to start you on your day. Only downside was that I could hear constant footsteps from the 2nd floor room above ours on first floor. Also, the fleece blankets in bed look a little worn & could be replaced. There are only a few half pillows on bed instead of full size. But overall a good price for a budget room in the NY area.

Comfy king bed, nice laminate floors. Bathroom faucet left a LOT to be desired. Shower fixture was tricky.

If any person sensitive to the noise the heat system make a huge noise like a truck turned on in the morning and turn off and turn on again and turn off. And the fridge make a very bad voice.

This was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on in a hotel! It’s very clean and the staff is always available and eager to help. I would stay here every time I’m in town and look forward to most amazing big bed and TV with 100 channels! Loved it here!!

The room was nice and spacious! Everything was clean. No foul odors. The hallways of the hotel are very dry and sweaty. The room was too before I turned the AC on. The bed was MASSIVE and very soft, I slept very well. You can fit at least 3 smaller size people in the bed. Some chips and wear on the furniture but it’s a $100 hotel, I mean? Hotel was very quiet, no banging noises. Just the fridge turning on every 30 mins. Very busy intersection but there’s food nearby in walking distance- very close to downtown. Check in was quick and easy no complaints. One night stay to pick up my birth certificate at city hall (which was a 5 min drive) I’m from PA

Not sure if a bar was nearby but basically heard a bass beat until 2 am. Was in 102, No one else who stayed in other rooms seemed affected so maybe it was room placement.

Customer service was good, it's very clean and they do complimentary breakfast although I didn't do breakfast cause I checked out early didn't have time.

The room was worn down with paint chips on the door and stains throughout the room. There was a large stain in the tub so I was unable to take a shower in the morning. When I brought this to the front desk’s attention the man in the lobby said it was just a rust stain like it was normal and he clearly was aware of the issue but did nothing to address. He said I needed to go through Travelocity. Travelocity called three times and the manager was “not in. When they were finally able to get ahold of the manager/owner he denied any compensation because I didn’t bring this to their attention sooner which I did. Clearly an issue of passing the buck between the two organizations and no one was able to resolve in the end so I will be going through my credit card now. I provided a picture of this rust stain and will post on social media to ensure no one else makes the mistake of trusting this hotel to provide a clean room. I will never stay at a Super 8 again and will certainly not use Travelocity as they were incapable of resolving this issue in any way.

One of the first things that happened was that the front of the house person that checked me in was quite inpersonable, The entire building was locked. There was only one way in one way out and it had an atmosphere like you can’t even walk or make any noise. It was very unpleasant.

We arrived in the evening and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. Thank you!

Every staff member was professional, friendly, helpful and smiling; the customer service I received was very good and very satisfactory.

Very quiet...clean...good service...

Smoke alarm was beeping all night. Front desk staff could not/would not fix it and could not switch my room. They noted that if it was disconnected that the fire department would come. They had an “oh well” attitude. It was too late to find another hotel to check in. I even have a noise machine to help me sleep and ear plugs but that screeching beep all night was awful. Zero sleep all night.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great for breaking up a long ride with easy access off the highway. Several convenience stores right next door.

I've stayed at this property a half dozen times over the past five years. It's very clean, modern, quiet, with great service--during a recent four-night stay, my room was tidied up every day--and a notably friendly staff. An excellent value! AND it's got super-easy access to the NY State Thruway, and local routes 9W, 303, and 59. This is my go-to hotel in Rockland County.

The location is a bit tucked right off the highway. Only worry is during the week the side exit via car gets backed up a lot

Within walking distance to downtown. We stayed over after a show at Olive's and it was less than a 20 min walk. Breakfast ends at 9 am and we overslept, but the diner next door is fantastic. Bed was very comfy. 24 hour convenient store/gas station within walking distance for late night snacking.

Great value for the price. Bare bones, but clean and comfortable. Excellent coffee. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nice, clean hotel close to the town of Nyack. There were some homeless people around the parking lot, but they were no trouble.

When you fist pull in to parking lot you may second guess yourself. Don’t it’s Clean, quiet, the fridge works well, AC was cold & the bed was good.

Hotel is great--clean, well maintained, modern. Location is in a suburban wasteland, concrete parking lots, rundown strip malls. Not pedestrian friendly;; no place to walk anyway. Wonderful organic food market across the highway with fresh produce, deli, prepared foods, salad bar, gourmet treats.

Centrally located on hwy59. Rooms not new but nice and clean. Breakfast is great.

Nothing fancy but was just what we needed for a good night’s sleep. Staff very friendly. Room was very clean and neat. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner worked well. Breakfast was ok. My husband enjoyed the Belgian waffles and breakfast sandwiches. Not much for me with a gluten intolerance.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was modest but met expectations for a hotel in this price range.

My room was so cold it was like they didn’t have heat for the rooms. I had to end up asking for an extra blanket. But other than that it was a clean and quiet stay and they had a good simple breakfast of cereal, yogurt, pastries and make your own waffles. Overall it was just an average stay.

Overall a good hotel. The room was very clean from the floor to the linens. Was quiet except for the person across the hall slamming their door every 5 minutes. The bathroom was clean. The fridge and microwave were clean. The continental breakfast was surprisingly good. Wide selection of stuff and a waffle maker. The only thing was a few of the lamps in my room were inoperable. 1 didn’t work completely and 1 the USB outlet didn’t work. All of the staff was very polite. Overall a good hotel for the price in the area.
