Room was clean but definitely showed some wear and tear. We stayed on a Sunday night in a corner room so didn’t have any issues with noise. When we asked about any dinner recommendations, the reply from the gentleman at the front desk was that he isn’t from the area and didn’t know - so thank goodness for Google :) We expected a stay that would be just okay based on the reviews but the location was right where we needed so went with Hotel Nyack. Wasn’t anything particularly bad, plus would prioritize clean and it was clean. We visited in October but the pool did look nice for summer months. Would still recommend if you also need something in the area. (We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Flights & Pints as well as fantastic quiche and pastries from Patisserie Didier Dumas the next morning, both walkable or a very short drive from the hotel.)

Check in staff were very nice and warm. The 3 females working the shift when I checked in were all amazing and helpful. Very knowledgeable and willing to help. Room was clean and tidy. Bartender was a delight to interact with and friendly demeanor.

At first arrival everything is nice enough, but by the end of the trip the multitude of minor inconveniences outweighs the price you’re paying. Everything the other reviews mention about thin walls/noise level, lack of storage/dresser, lack of all small amenities like an alarm clock in your room, are accurate. And just basically annoying. The staff was very nice when they waived the hotel fee on checkout when we mentioned our entire 4th floor was woken up at 6:30am on Saturday morning by another hotel guest’s barking a dogs. All in all the location of the hotel was convenient for our trips needs and the staff was friendly. But it’s overpriced based off what you expect vs what you actually get.
