The facilities were a bit dated and the beds weren't the comfiest in the world but palatable. They were what I was expecting for the price. The staff was nice and friendly no complaints there at all. The views and beach access were nice. The pool was nice but the latters need stablized. The parking was average for the area. The worst part though was the elevator. It was extremely slow and I mean that in the utmost.

My family stayed here and the room was great clean looks recently renovated and spacious. All our interactions with the staff was great the pool was huge. I wish they had a hot tub though.

Nice views, mostly cool staff and has multiple parking garages. Only major issue is elevator access. On a busy day you could be waiting 30 mins plus just to get down or up if you aren’t able to go up and down stairs. Nice pools, cool bar and convience store across from the hotel.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The facility is older but was as clean as it could be made. Biggest complaint: only 2 elevators to service all 13 floors. At check-in time especially (4pm), you would wait a very,very long time for a ride to your floor. Next biggest complaint: not enough parking on site. But the extra parking always had room, and it wasn't a horrible walk. Just so you know: there are 2 pools: one large pool and another kiddie pool. Views are beautiful and access to the beach was perfect. It is a good, yet older property.

Extremely dirty rooms with mold everywhere. Bathroom, bedroom , balcony. Mold is everywhere. Dust is everywhere. When I asked front desk representative to clean the room everyone just ignored me. For 4 nights there nobody came. Also our beach towel was stolen by housekeeper. I would never recommend this place to stay. Absolutely ridiculous place.

Arriving we entered a below deck parking garage and went in the door to a floor where there tiles falling out of the ceiling and water leaking from the ceiling. the receptionist definetley hates her job. Went to the room the floor was disgusting. The shampoo bottle had a pubic hair and shampoo on the outide of the bottle. The dust was unreal and the " comfortable" beds were so hard my husband and I left at 3am and drove home. The whole place just felt yucky and did not stand up to what the pictures show. homless and addicts walking around everywhere. would not recommend if your looking for anything romatic or have children. elevators smelt like weed and hadnt been inspected in years and was a scary ride. I couldnt tell you about breakfast becuase I wouldnt have dared ate anything cooked in that place. Good luck

Check in person had the friendliness of a DMV employee, but interactions with other staff were friendly and helpful. The room was filthy with dried boogers, blood, dried food and soil in various areas (Beds were very clean and nice though thankfully) We spent the first 2 hours on arrival cleaning and disinfecting areas we would be using. Water took 10-15 min before it would get above low warm levels, but did eventually heat up to levels to take a shower without freezing. View from room was wonderful, pool was clean and well kept. Overall opinion, if the room would have been clean, this would have been an A+ location (especially for the very low price), location and views, but due to the dangerously unsanitary conditions of the unit I would rate C+ (only that high because of the price and views) If cleanliness was improved, I would love to stay here again.

Loved that this place was right on the beach and located near all the places we wanted to go. Pool was nice. Couldn’t find any beach towels. Room looked nice but when I spilled water on the floor and wiped it up, the towel was BLACK. After looking closer, the room was filthy. The lighting also was super dim, couldn’t see to do makeup or see in the full body mirror. I guess that’s why they call it dirty Myrtle.

The room was clean. On the downside: the air conditioner was placed inconveniently — the airflow went directly onto the bed, the coffee machine was broken (it would turn on by itself without pressing the button), the sink drained poorly, and the windows were dirty. But none of this spoiled our stay — the view from the room was absolutely amazing! For a budget-friendly family vacation, this place is just perfect.

Upon arrival the parking was limited but the beautiful lady at the front desk was very polite. Easy speedy check-in without feeling rushed. The outside could definitely use an upgrade but the family suite was nice, the beds were comfortable. I just wished it had a bedroom door for privacy and a private balcony

We reserved the 2 br suite….very disappointing….we assumed it also had 2 baths….it didn’t. AND neither bedroom had a DOOR. Really !! The bathroom very poor. The entire suite was poorly designed. Do Not Rent it !

Really not sure where to begin. There was only one outlet in the bedroom. The two queen beds were so close to the air conditioner that you could hardly get the air out because the bed was in the way. We had to use the coffee maker in the bathroom because they had two outlets in there. The shower does not have a shelf to put your shampoo or soap on so you have to set it on the floor. You have a big open area for a desk and a chair but just a reminder there’s no outlet by the desk nor is there a lamp. There’s only one light in the bedroom and that lights over top both beds and the ceiling. A few changes would make all the difference in the world. I hope only my room look like that and not all the others.

Stove top was cracked. Ac didn't keep room cool, i had it set to 68 f and the room still felt like it was 78. It would start cooling but stopped and go back warm. Had a room that had just a shower instead of a tub and i had kids with me which made it hard to clean them. Beds where very uncomfortable pillows gave no support. Did love that we had multiple tvs so the kids could watch something while the adults watch something else. No silverware in the room. Coffee pot was a pain to use. Staff was nice and helpful the best they could, rooms where very clean. We did find a used tampoon in the pool and the staft jumped to getting pool straight and adding more chlorine to it.

Also, no hooks or accommodations to hang/dry towels. No chairs or tables. It was an efficiency, bathroom, 3 beds and 3 tvs, no tables, lamps, chairs. Staff were great, pool area nice, beach was nice.

Upon check in we were instructed that we had to wear a plastic water proof wrist band and we could not remove them because we would have to pay $10 per band. I was told I needed to pay a higher deposit than my email stated or I could pay $39.95 for a non refundable deposit. They honored the email amount. I asked if we could check out the room. We entered the let out couch had a dirty mattress, sand, food and other things on it. I was informed that housekeeping could clean the mattress. The stove was busted and I was told that it could be handled the next day. The air in the bedroom was not working and I was told it would be handled the next day. The GM Robert immediately said I’m not giving you a discount and you’re not getting your money back. After letting him know I wasn’t satisfied he finally agreed to only charge me for a night. I have yet to get my refund from 7/10/25. I have tried contacting them several times and usually don’t get an answer when i finally did I was told that if they are busy they don’t answer the phone. I will never ever recommend or stay here! I hope that if you’re reading this that you take heed run fast!!!!!! 😞 They tried to ruin my vacation!!! Sarah/Stacy was kind 😊 only good thing about this place!!

It may have been mentioned on the website and if so I missed it but beware of the security deposit. I checked in and the disc receptionist said you can either put a $250 hold on your card which is more than any other place I've ever stayed. Or you can pay a $40 non-refundable deposit. To me this seems like some kind of extortion. This alone will cause me not to go back. The view was excellent. The room was okay. The front desk not handling a loud disturbance situation in the middle of the night until after the third time was a little excessive. Will not stay here. Will not recommend anyone to stay here. Two stars is because of the view.

Clean, large room, easy check in & out but check out is too early at 10am and then to get late check out it was another 45.00 They also give a choice of having a 250 dollar hold on your card or pay 39.99 for some type of insurance and it is not refundable. Would possibly stay again.

I loved having a balcony and the views were amazing. But the staff at the front desk are not friendly or helpful at all. The pool area was very clean and well kept.

First time visit to Myrtle Beach - the hotel is beautiful and had awesome views. We had a large fridge and a microwave and kitchen sink with a separate living room. Hotel bar is poolside and overlooks both the pool and the ocean. Only glitch was check-in. We waited over 2 hours and were sent up to a room that was occupied by others. The occupants were luckily not there. We finally got our room and it was great.

The property was nice and the location was perfect! We had a wonderful stay until check out when we came in contact with the front desk worker Semone who was being very nasty and abrupt with people checking out. Her attitude made a wonderful experience very ugly at the end. If she doesn’t like her job she should work somewhere else!

Amazing ocean view, right on the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the waves and really enjoyed the poolside bar, especially the beach colada. The room was reasonable priced and well worth the money. It was clean and comfortable and better than I expected since the outside walkway, outside of the elevator made me think it would be run down. It is very spacious and like I already mentioned, amazing view! We would definitely stay here again!

What I didn't like was a lot of money to pay and little space, the room was very small, and I didn't have a view of the city, then everything was very clean, good food, quiet, accessible to everything, it is a central place for everyone's tastes

I booked this place with two other adult friends, and we loved it. Grant Resort was clean, affordable, had good beach access, and had a nice bar and fun atmosphere without being overcrowded. It's also very close to the airport and an easy rideshare to other destinations in Myrtle Beach. Would definitely stay here again.

The view from the rooms at this hotel are breathtaking...Super safe to go the beach for a late night walk, super convenient and close to restaurants and things to do...Staff was very friendly and helpful. Price was nice. Pool was nice. Room and view was nice. Advertised they had beach chairs. They did, but you had to purchase in gift shop ( over priced ) and rental was not available for our area of the beach. No food except vending or gift shop. No information given at check in where things were or how to reach front desk. No info in rooms either.

Fun property. Not the cleanest but not filthy. Decent sized pool but I never used it because the beach is right outside the door. Didn’t try the restaurant downstairs because it seemed like an extremely average menu. Would definitely stay again. Especially in the off season when not so crowded.

The parking fills up and it was hard to find a spot, we only get one and we had to pay for the additional spot, although we didn’t have a space to park in . Another thing , the microwave didn’t work, we never notified anyone as it wasn’t a big deal to us. A few items was broken but could be overlooked. Other than that it was great , clean, pool was clean, room was good, I did expect the rooms to be separated by doors but we still made it work. I loved they’re was tvs everywhere there was a bed. The balcony view was amazing, the bar and the food was really good.

Overall, it was a nice hotel. The rooms were modern, although missing some items. They had a refrigerator and a sink in the microwave however no dish soap or cloth. There were no lamps in the room only overhead lights. The bathroom was very tight, but the room was nice overall. This hotel wants to charge $250 for one night for a deposit for damage, which is unheard of even in Miami. I arrived a bit early and they wanted to charge me $55 fee just to check in early even though my room was ready. They had a small bar restaurant on site which said it had a continental breakfast. I received a text that the restaurant was open for the breakfast and when I went downstairs, the restaurant was closed and locked. I thought the pool was very nice and big and they had a small children’s pool. They also had a bar downstairs underneath the awning and a nice sitting area which I thought was very nice. The prices were reasonable. Overall, I do not think I would come here again. I did not like the amount of the damage deposit which is excessive and the fact that they advertise breakfast they didn’t have it and they want to charge you for coming in early.

I was extremely disappointed with our stay. We had **no hot water for two days**, and what made the situation even worse was finding out that the hotel was already aware there was an issue with the room before placing us in it. At no point during check-in were we told there was a problem. When we finally asked to be moved to another room, it took **two hours** for anything to happen. We were told someone would call us back, but no one ever did. We eventually had to physically go down to the front desk just to get someone to move us. Unfortunately, the room we were moved to had another serious issue—the **door would not lock unless we were inside the room with the safety latch on**. That is a major safety concern and completely unacceptable for any hotel. After dealing with two days without hot water, waiting hours to be moved, having to repeatedly follow up ourselves, and then being moved into a room that did not properly lock, I asked for some type of refund or compensation. I was told the only options they could offer were **free breakfast or a late checkout**. Neither of those options comes close to making up for what we experienced. Hot water and a secure, locking door are basic things you expect when paying for a hotel room.

Checked in on Wednesday out on Monday. Ran out of towels. Had to ask twice to get them. Ran out of toilet paper and had to use tissues. Room was not cleaned one time while there. Did ask for room to be cleaned, didn’t happen. When checking out they asked how the stay was, told them not good. The reply we got was, “oh well, have a nice trip”. In my opinion not professional at all. Didn’t even ask if we had any type of problems. Definitely would not recommend this place to anybody.
