The pool was not cleaned. There was scum on the bottom of the pool you could see where people walked. There were leaves on the bottom not just floating. The leaves were in the pool long enough they were not floating but on the bottom of the pool. But there were a lot floating too. We mentioned it at the desk and we were told it had been cleaned the day before. Not true or you need to hire someone else to clean your pool. The rooms were nice. But very disappointed about the pool.

I felt safe. I had used another hotel and stayed 1 night. I did not feel safe at that hotel. I remembered that we had stayed at Spark before and decided to change hotels. I'm so thankful for the staff at Spark. This was our second time staying and we felt secure in our choice. Also, my father passed during my visit and the staff were very caring and compassionate. Thank you to them all. I would highly recommend this hotel. They offer breakfast which is a plus as well as the rooms are very clean and the parking is awesome!

First room smelled so bad of old smoke that you couldn’t breathe. They changed us to a better room but someone was running up and down the hallway for hours. Pool was out of order also. That’s why we were staying there was for the pool.

When we first arrived, after a five hour drive, we were greeted by a parking lot full of police. The building is severely outdated. The walls have holes that need to be repaired, the bathroom door was literally peeling at the bottom and the bathroom fan did not work, the window units in the rooms could not keep up with the heat outdoors and it is grossly understaffed. Breakfast was subpar with a very limited selection. There were two pieces of equipment in the fitness room; an eliptical and a treadmill. The treadmill was broken and there were no towels or sanitary wipes. The sign in the laundry room stated that laundry detergent was available at the front desk, however, when I asked I was told they didn't have any. The photos on Expedia made the place look better than it was. While the people at the front desk were nice, I'll be booking at another location with more modern amenities on my next trip.

The hotel is rather run down. Stains on carpets and bedding. Tv is covered in sticky finger prints and bathtub is stained. The room smells like stale cigarette smoke. It does look like some renovations are currently underway, so hopefully it will be better in the future.

This was absolutely the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The floors in the lobby common areas and elevator looked like no one mops or vacuums. The same was true for the room we stayed in. Floors were filthy…tub was filthy…sink was very slow to drain. Volume on TV did not work. Ironing board was broken. Iron had crusty material on it. Gel filth on the wall and in bureau drawer. Street noise and people outside our window made sleeping difficult. Reported to housekeeping and front desk and NOTHING was remedied. The staff seemed to barely understand English!! 2 nights of pure hell!! Do not use this hotel!! Also the continental breakfast was subpar also

Room 319, carpets filthy, multiply stains. Stains on duvet cover, looked like streaks of possibly blood. Sink with 2major cracks and drain are nasty. Bathroom and room not clean. There were dry blood stains in the front and back of bathroom door, on the floor and wall underneath toilet paper dispenser. Pubic hair on toilet and bath tub was dirty. My family and I had to clean and disinfect and layer the floor with bah towels. Was not compensated and was forced to stay at the property over the holiday weekend because no other places had openings. And we were not offered a different room. Would never recommend to anyone due to the unsafe environment and bodily hazardous fluid. Also, reported to DHEC and OSHA.

Jignesh was very helpful and friendly. He provided us with information about the area and things to do and places to eat. He made sure the coffee was always fresh and hot. Very kind and respectful. The only issue we had was the cleanliness of the room. There were wrappers, dust bunnies, dirt under the bed, under the tables and nightstands. It was just cleaned superficially like the surfaces. The plastic cups for water in the room had been touched with soapy hands or had some cleaner on them. They foamed up as soon as I filled water in them. There were tiny little bugs around the sink. The bed was a dream to sleep on, and the bathroom was stocked with quality toiletries and towels. I also appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and a quiet atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The location was perfect to commute to my Graduation!

Just overall okay. It was loud in the rooms. There were not many people staying there, but yet the person they checked in before me at 10pm, assigned them to the room right next door to us with an adjoing door. I'm sure for sound we could have been put next to noone on either side of us die to low bookings that night.

AC did not work properly. I spoke to person at desk the following morning prior to leaving for the day. No better when returned, but the gentleman at front desk that evening checked it out and ended up we had to move. Also when the cleaned room, never made or straightened out the bed. Also noisy from road traffic. Doubt would go back.

Was given a dirty room on arrival. Lady at the desk was very apologetic and gave us a new room. The shower was very hard to turn on. It took me and my husband to pull the handle to turn on shower. The staff in the office was rude and disrespectful towards my wife, nephew and I. The hotel we were staying at caught fire and we had to find another hotel and it was crazy night. Did not appreciate the staff and their attitude.

Was told my Debit card was a prepaid card, they wouldn't take the payment and conformation number of proof of payment and ran my card, again at the hotel which made a double charge on my account. Called the hotel manager 3 times never returned my call once. Very trouble service. Don't go there.

The key card coder didn't work when we arrived and we had to be let in to our room by staff. They brought us one key about 30 minutes later. The door to our room would not close due to sagging. We had to lift it to shut it. The smoke detector was on the counter when we got there. When told, management said they would install it the next day but never did.

The door to our room would not lock. Upon showing this to the management, we were told that this was “not a security concern because the hotel is secure.” After we insisted that this is in fact a security concern, the member of management concluded that there was no issue with the door and it was just a case of us “pushing too hard on the door.” The staff member than grew increasingly hostile, refused to move us to a secure room and then left. Later, he came back to our room, yelled at me and my husband that we were “making” him fix the door. He then replaced part of the door jam and again left without saying anything. We then packed our things and immediately left the hotel. Some advice for anyone interested in staying at this property: don’t.

Upon showing this to the management, we were told that this was “not a security concern because the hotel is secure.” After we insisted that this is in fact a security concern, the member of management concluded that there was no issue with the door and it was just a case of us “pushing too hard on the door.” The staff member than grew increasingly hostile, refused to move us to a secure room and then left. Later, he came back to our room, yelled at me and my husband that we were “making” him fix the door. He then replaced part of the door jam and again left without saying anything. We then packed our things and immediately left the hotel. Some advice for anyone interested in staying at this property: don’t.

I have never written a bad review, but this place was very dirty. the staff just aloof. Went down at 0640 am on Sunday and the front desk staff was conversing with someone possibly another staff member didn't acknowledge me I was standing there I the lobby looking for coffee and finally I asked going back to the elevator and the lady stated the girl was trying it's not ready yet. Understand breakfast was to be ready at 0700 but coffee should be available any time after 5 am. Then my husband and I came down for breakfast and it comprised of Jimmy Dean sandwiches etc.... very disappointing. Coming out of elevator on 2nd floor the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a year.

Jignesh was very helpful and friendly. He provided us with information about the area and things to do and places to eat. He made sure the coffee was always fresh and hot. Very kind and respectful. The only issue we had was the cleanliness of the room. There were wrappers, dust bunnies, dirt under the bed, under the tables and nightstands. It was just cleaned superficially like the surfaces. The plastic cups for water in the room had been touched with soapy hands or had some cleaner on them. They foamed up as soon as I filled water in them. There were tiny little bugs around the sink. Everything was very clean and neat.The staff was friendly and nice. Everyone was very attentive. Jessica, the lady who served the breakfast was super nice as well. I really enjoyed my stay there. The only thing I'd would "complain" about is that they serve the same thing for breakfast Everyday. Other than that 10/10.

The location to downtown Savannah was not bad for driving. The first room they gave us the toilet seat fell off. The second room that they gave us the carpet was all stained the doors had all wood chips off of it. The breakfast was included only most of everything was almost empty and the associate That was supposed to be working there was in her room on her phone. The front desk could hardly understand what they were saying there was three Associates there non-professionally dressed definitely would not go back to that La Quinta Inn

Room was recently renovated and staff were also very quick and welcoming. Breakfast, on the other hand, was terrible: choices were extremely limited and were lacking proteins (they only had cold boiled eggs). Everything else was just bagels, bananas, dried oatmeal and yogurt.

A lot of reviews maybe predated Hilton taking over this property that was previously a LaQuinta. My room was comfortable, the lobby was cute, there were vinyl floors and not gross carpets, nice television, a fridge, good amounts of storage and a desk. The bed was comfortable though I used every pillow by myself, so a couple may appreciate an extra one or two. They served breakfast in the lobby though I only grabbed coffee which was good!
