The Meroviglia is a hidden gem of a boutique hotel in Santorini. Being in Imerovigli means there are very good bars and restaurants within a two minute walk of the hotel. The pool is visible only to those who know, unlike other hotel pools and lounging areas on the Caldera, allowing us to relax in the sun without being overlooked by passing tourists. The complex is spotlessly clean, with the very comfortable rooms being of good size and finished to a high standard. We were fortunate enough to have a room overlooking the Caldera, waking up to beautiful views of the sea, Fira and the south of the island. The on site restaurant, which I think was converted from a 200 year old traditional Greek house, keeping many tradional features and adds genuine charm to the complex. It serves very good Italian food all day, with the evening menu offering different options to the lunch time/day menu. The breakfast options are excellent too! The last word needs to go to the people that create the relaxed and happy atmosphere at The Meroviglia, the excellent staff. They are welcoming, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly, who in our experience, go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and to help with any questions, whether it be places to visit/eat or advice on car hire etc. It is unfair to name names as everyone was fantastic, though a special mention needs to go hotel manager Joanna, who happily went the extra mile to ensure our holiday was a memorable one, so thank you Joanna!

Wonderful location and beautiful property. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect , nothing we asked for was too much. The breakfast was outstanding , traditional food and lots of it. We had our own private pool plus the main one so we could choose to use it whenever we wanted too. We would totally stay here again, we had a fabulous time .

Loved this hotel! The staff were so friendly, breakfast is delicious, the views are to die for. We really enjoyed the pool each afternoon and the restaurant, the history behind the hotel is super cool too.

Beautiful, relaxing place to stay, walk or bus trip away from the busy areas in a nice part or the coast. Staff are wonderful, friendly and super helpful. Great place to laze by the pool. Would come back any day.

Such a great find. We were greeted warmly by Costas, in spite of our early arrival, and treated to a luscious lemonade while our room was fully prepared. Our room was lovely with windows that could be fully opened or completely closed to take advantage of the temperature and the light. Our balcony allowed us to enjoy both the sunrise and the night lights of Santorini. It would have been nice to have better lighting in the room, itself, but we didn't dwell in the room. Breakfast was good but would have been improved by having fewer options. The croissants were incredible. The broad array of other bread options left one to focus on their lesser quality rather than simply enjoying the incredible croissants. The dinner we had was our best meal on the island. The staff was so helpful and conscientious. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved our room (with a little balcony!) and the location, right off the Fira-Oia path. We appreciated the smart TV in the room too. All the guys working there were wonderful and happy to help. Breakfast was delicious with good portions. There's a small mart down the street which is convenient for picking up sunscreen, beer, etc. The one downside to our stay was a dinner at the hotel restaurant which we found to be too salty and not very good overall.

Amazing staff and lovely pool. Staff let us check in early as our original ferry was cancelled. Would stay again but not pay for caldera view as it’s only a partial view and quite obscured by roofs and power lines. Great breakfast. Would absolutely stay again in a regular room. Kindest staff on our whole holiday.

We had been at an Airbnb during our original dates but due to winds we had to stay another night in Santorini so we decided to find a hotel closer to Fira. Our room was very clean, the bed was wonderful and the staff were great. The breakfast was delicious. The value for our stay was amazing. I’d definitely stay again.

Good accommodation to explore the town of Imerovigli. Is situated near a bus stop which connects to Oia and Fira. Restaurant and pool area is nice to relax. Somehow Greek hotels never use a hoover. The general cleanliness is fine though, as the housekeeper works hard and is friendly

This place was so lovely and the staff were so incredibly kind. The rooms are so clean and I love they way they are designed. The pool area is nice and quiet away from people being able to see you as you swim, unlike many other properties in the area. Also the breakfast options every morning were so good.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The room was very clean, and comfortable, and had enough room for me to bring in a small table and chair that was outside the room, which I needed to use my laptop a bit. The pool area is nice, although it runs out of sunbeds and we sometimes had to lay on the sofas by the pool instead. The personnel was very polite and learned our room number and habits, so it was very convenient. Breakfast was really tasty and filling, they brought a menu from which we could select two items from, plus bread. The food overall was amazing, and we had dinner multiple times at the hotel. The area is calm, which we appreciated, and about a 30 minute walk to Fira center. Overall a fantastic stay!

Das Hotel war einwandfrei. Das Personel war sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, sehr höflich und immer freundlich. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und genau wie auf dem Foto abgebildet, gross und modern. Ich kann keine Mängel aufweisen. Im Restaurant und in den Zimmern steht Hygiene an erster Stelle. Die Unterkunft hat eine perfekte Lage. Man ist in 2 min zu Fuß an der Caldera und den zu den ganzen Restaurants. Parken am Hotel direkt ist sehr schwierig, man muss Glück haben direkt dort was zu finden haben aber einen kostenfreien Parkplatz gefunden wenn man den Berg 5 minuten runter geht. Da gibt es immer freie Plätze.

The property was lovely. We were in the honeymoon suite and it was spacious and had an incredible view. We were so excited to use the jacuzzi and it was just like warm. We couldn’t go in it at all because it was way too cold. That was a huge bummer. It also would’ve been nice to have somewhere to put our clothes. There’s not a dresser or drawers so we lived out of our suitcases the whole stay. Otherwise, we had a great time. The staff was very sweet.

The staff here were unbelievably friendly and helpful. Our room was small but it had everything we needed and we didn’t spend much time there anyways. The view of the caldera was unforgettable. Also, conveniently located to a convenience store and restaurants. Again, the staff were amazing. The included breakfast was also top notch. Lovely spot!

Wonderful hotel!! George and his team are absolute pros! The included breakfast is worth 50% of whatever you end up paying it is that good! The rooms are fairly basic and the extras like storage and ledges in the shower would make this untouchable. But the AC, tv, and showers were great. Slept like a baby!

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the service was impeccable, from reception to waiting and cleaning staff. The room was spacious and very comfortable, it had everything we needed. The balcony was a good size with chairs and a table and spectacular views over the caldera. My only suggestion would be to add a couple of loungers on the balcony, more hanging hooks in the room and maybe a little shower shelf. Apart from this, everything was perfect! Thank you for a very enjoyable few days 😍

Amazing staff and lovely pool. Staff let us check in early as our original ferry was cancelled. Would stay again but not pay for caldera view as it’s only a partial view and quite obscured by roofs and power lines. Great breakfast. Would absolutely stay again in a regular room. Kindest staff on our whole holiday.

Right from the beginning we were met on time at the airport by their driver, graciously welcomed with a drink at the hotel when we arrived, bags secured at their quaint reception, and an overview of the island with recommendations on what to visit (& how to get there). Throughout our stay, the staff were always so kind and attentive. We stayed in a room with an Caldera view and it could not be anymore stunning. The property as a whole is spacious, magical, and the breakfast was always fresh and delicious. It’s a huge bonus to be near everything in Imerovigli but you do not have the noise of any of it. You’re positioned in the middle of beautiful restaurants, little cobbled alleys along the cliffs, walking distance to Fira, the bus station and roaming taxis. Stayed here for my birthday, George the host was phenomenal throughout the entirety of our stay. The breakfast was amazing, we tried all the options, 100% worth it. I would recommend this place, the area is quiet, and everyone is super friendly.

What an amazing place! From the moment we arrived, we felt part of the Meroviglia family. The staff’s kindness and willingness to make your stay as perfect as possible is unbelievable. The manageress, Ioanna, was particularly kind in letting us keep our room as late as they could so we could continue enjoying the perfect oasis that is they pool courtyard. We loved the place so much we had to stay again on our way back from Naxos. Special mention to Jim who made sure we were not wanting for anything at anytime.

The Meroviglia is a hidden gem of a boutique hotel in Santorini. Being in Imerovigli means there are very good bars and restaurants within a two minute walk of the hotel. The pool is visible only to those who know, unlike other hotel pools and lounging areas on the Caldera, allowing us to relax in the sun without being overlooked by passing tourists. The complex is spotlessly clean, with the very comfortable rooms being of good size and finished to a high standard. We were fortunate enough to have a room overlooking the Caldera, waking up to beautiful views of the sea, Fira and the south of the island. The on site restaurant, which I think was converted from a 200 year old traditional Greek house, keeping many tradional features and adds genuine charm to the complex. It serves very good Italian food all day, with the evening menu offering different options to the lunch time/day menu. The breakfast options are excellent too! The last word needs to go to the people that create the relaxed and happy atmosphere at The Meroviglia, the excellent staff. They are welcoming, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly, who in our experience, go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and to help with any questions, whether it be places to visit/eat or advice on car hire etc. It is unfair to name names as everyone was fantastic, though a special mention needs to go hotel manager Joanna, who happily went the extra mile to ensure our holiday was a memorable one, so thank you Joanna!

Such a great find. We were greeted warmly by Costas, in spite of our early arrival, and treated to a luscious lemonade while our room was fully prepared. Our room was lovely with windows that could be fully opened or completely closed to take advantage of the temperature and the light. Our balcony allowed us to enjoy both the sunrise and the night lights of Santorini. It would have been nice to have better lighting in the room, itself, but we didn't dwell in the room. Breakfast was good but would have been improved by having fewer options. The croissants were incredible. The broad array of other bread options left one to focus on their lesser quality rather than simply enjoying the incredible croissants. The dinner we had was our best meal on the island. The staff was so helpful and conscientious. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for 6 days and everything was perfect. The food and drinks were fantastic, and the hospitality was superb! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were beautiful and extremely clean. The pool was also clean, and very nice. The hotel itself is well located. It’s about a 20-30 min walk to the capital Fira. Also, if you want to see the perfect sunset, it’s just a 5 min walk from the hotel. Without a doubt would recommend!

I had such a great vacation stay at this boutique hotel! The staff went above and beyond to ensure you have a great trip, the property is beautiful (the pool area was fantastic), and breakfast was delicious. You can walk or take the bus to Fira so it is close to the hustle and bustle all while having a nice quiet location in Imerovigli. I will be back!

Great place to stay. It’s a little out of the way nestled in a quiet neighborhood separate from Fira and Oia but an uber was easy to get for 40 euros from the Fira port. You are less than a one minute walk from views of the caldera. Lots of restaurants nearby to be able to get a sunset dinner with a view of the caldera. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was also very friendly.

Loved our room (with a little balcony!) and the location, right off the Fira-Oia path. We appreciated the smart TV in the room too. All the guys working there were wonderful and happy to help. Breakfast was delicious with good portions. There's a small mart down the street which is convenient for picking up sunscreen, beer, etc. The one downside to our stay was a dinner at the hotel restaurant which we found to be too salty and not very good overall.

Aris, George and all of the staff were so helpful. They arrange rental car for us and made beach club suggestions. They helped With parking and answering all of our questions (we had a lot!). The food was excellent and we ate dinner here twice. The breakfast was amazing too! I highly recommend staying here and would come back here to stay again!

Excellent stay. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the room was lovely (#202), lots of space and a patio with a view. Breakfast was a daily highlight. Plenty of choice and really tasty food. The location was really handy to Fira and restaurants in Imerovigli. All walkable. One of the best views of the caldera was only two minutes away.

The only reason I didn’t rate it a five was that our shower door was not sealed and every time we showered, the entire bathroom was wet. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was fantastic. Thank you
