Hotel was located across the street from Wynyard station close transit to/from airport and all attractions. The hotel area was quiet at night. Staff was friendly and the lobby bar had a nice happy hour for drinks and winding down. Cameron who checked us in was very friendly and efficient. He was always around to ask if we needed assistance or just to ask us how our day went. A great experience!

Waited over an hour to access the room due to all three lift outage and a dead room-lock battery. Despite requesting assistance, no one came to fix the issue in an hour. The room was not clean. There was an obvious stain on the bed sheet that appeared to be blood, and the shower floor was dirty. In one of the rooms, the air conditioner was not working. When I asked the front desk to fix it, the control panel was found coming off the wall with the wires not even connected, which explained why it was not functioning. The lift was also in very poor condition; at times it did not stop at the selected floor even though the floor indicator lit up after tapping the room key.

This is in the CBD, so everything was convenient. Wynyard Station is just outside the hotel, and there are plenty of coffee shops and restaurant options nearby. The room was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and well-maintained. I didn’t see any amenities like a gym or pool, which was fine since I wouldn’t have used them anyway. Highly recommend this property to other travelers seeking quality and convenient accommodations.

Room lay out and cleanliness is fantastic as i the hotel location, It can be a tad noisey due to it location. The Lack of Parking is a issue especially for someone who is driving a long way and wanting to use there car on a daily basis and the options for any other parking is ridiculously priced.

Great stay, but house keeping was poor. Walked in on house keeping washing our tea cups using fingers only in the bathroom sink. Would assume dirty cups would just be replaced with clean dishwashed cups? Accidently knocked over a small plant on day 2 of visit and on day 4 dirt still not vacuumed. Rubbish not removed.

Room was kind of old and had lots of stains on the carpet. Room was really noisy with all the sounds form a rear street. Bathroom was tiny and shower was terrible as either you froze or burned with it. Also water went out of the shower too and floor was always wet. Location wise was incredible and had a nice breakfast too.

the room was very large and could accommodate a sofa and and armchair on top of a king size bed. and there was still space to open the suitcases and navigate the room. I also liked the design. For business traveler, it's great that there is a quality iron and iron board, so I have neat looking shirts every day.

Nice, clean and fairly spacious room with comfortable bed. Parking in the basement (albeit with a limited number of rather tight spaces and very tight access ramps) was very convenient. My only complaint (reflected in the ratings) is that wifi was so unstable that is was effectively useless. When I pointed this out to the reception manager at check-out, he suggested using the "members logon" instead. When I said I'm not a member, he simply said it's one of the membership perks. I find that totally unacceptable. Providing higher internet speeds for members or asking non-members to login every time they return to the room would be acceptable, but considering a basic, stable internet connection a membership perk is not. So if wifi is a priority, make sure you're a member or find another hotel.

Beautiful room that was spacious. Lovely and clean and we loved the Super King bed. The balcony was big and I loved being able to see the city from outside. Outside chairs were big and comfy. We had the buffet breakfast which had a great variety of items on offer. My only complaint was the noise from other guests in the hallway at night and that the bed rocked around whenever my hubby rolled over. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay with an excellent location.

We have stayed previously in its past lives as a Travelodge and a Mercure, the room refurb has been done really nice, nice comfy carpets, very comfy bed, the windows seem to have been sealed better inwardly so we found it much quieter, we also got a later checkout which was much appreciated, to sum up a very enjoyable four night stay

Right in the heart of the CBD. Very convenient for various purposes, sightseeing, shopping, dining nightlife etc. Only one thing was feeling annoyed with bad sound insulation of the building is quite bad.

What upset me was the Reservation Officer (Female) who completely ignored me when i checked in whilst scrolling on her phone. The second issue was when I booked on your website for the night saying the 2.4.24, the room rate was $224 approx. plus breakfast $25 plus taxes. When i went to have breakfast they said they had no record of me paying for breakfast. I chatted to you online and confirmed the same thing. I am adamant that that i had Breakfast added on to the room charge despite Novatel or Wofit having no record of it.

Was self check screens which you have to type all the info in on a screen with app type keyboard. Really dislike those as it’s very impersonal and you can’t talk to them about the room you want, eg quiet. You pay all that money and they want you to do all the work for them. Rooms had been refurbed, but aircon was very noisy. Had to turn it off overnight. Probably won’t use this hotel again.

We’re so glad we booked the Novotel for our short stay in Sydney. The automated check-in and.check-out process was easy and quick. The breakfast each morning was wonderful! And every staff member we interacted with went above and beyond to answer questions or provide service. It was also in a great location and within walking distance to the cruise terminal. Well definitely stay again!

The location of the hotel is extremely convenient. It's located approx. 35 mins away from the airport to hotel if you take a train. There is direct train connection with only 5mins walk to hotel. The hotel is relatively near to many of the attractions, approx. 15-20mins walk. The only downside is that there seems to be lack of ventilation in the toilet.

Really great location as only metres from Wynward station which is quick train ride from airport. Also close to lots of great restaurants and cafes. Recently refurbished and very tidy and clean. Only disappointment was the quality of the room service food which was not really up to Novotel standards

Everything is it good, just expensive. The breakfast (buffet) not to many options to eat. The fruit area was almost empty, as well the hot food. The kitchen don’t make omelettes or options to make eggs. The sweets are so yum. It’s not enough staff in the restaurant most of the tables are untidy.
