Manila Marriott Hotel at Newport World Resorts

This place exceeds expectations in every category , friendly staff , great food , convenient location. The Rooftop pool and got tub are amazing also . Two thumbs up .

I stayed for one night before leaving Manila. The room was very clean even though this is an older hotel. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi is fast. The view from the west wing top floor pool is very cool. The staff were helpful and professional. I wish I could have stayed longer.

We only stayed for 1 night after flying back from Boracay, and left early the following morning for our flight back to the US, so our experience was limited. What we DISLIKED: exterior hotel is in declining condition. We noticed lots of flaking paint, cracking in exterior concrete, especially on balconies for certain rooms. Needs serious updating and makeover. Rooms also showing signs of long term usage. Nothing serious, mostly cosmetic but for what you pay, we expected better. The swimming pool on lower floor: I enjoy a cooler temp. pool on occasion, but only on a HOT, muggy day. We swam in the afternoon, on a cooler, cloudy day and all 3 of us turned blue within 5 minutes. There is cool and then there is ICE COLD. Seriously, add a Hot Tub or a pool that is heated. LIKED: Dinner Buffet. Although costing around $70 USD per person, it was an event (although really, just 1 soda per ticket...lol) Food was fantastic and desert selection outrageously good. A must experience. The staff were very friendly, informative and accommodating. Room overall was good: a lot of space for a double; shower/tub was large, nice bathroom and amenities. Zero complaints about room but windows need cleaning on outside. Would we return? Yes, but we typically stay at the local Hilton, where I have points and membership, so will use that hotel in future.

Property looks so nice and clean. Very convenient when travelling because it’s so near to the airport. The massage was excellent♥️ Bakery was so good as well. Bed was comfy.

We live at the West Wing, it’s easy to get to the nearby convenient stores, pharmacies and local malls( just a few minutes walk) I like the swimming pool on the roof top, overlooking a golf field. There is a warm water massage pool, though sometimes if it’s not bubbling,the warm water is really relaxing.

Excellent service and breakfast. The rooftop pool is nice and quiet in the morning. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the golf course and the city.

I wish the hotel manager Mr. Mohamed Ali walk around the hotel property or someone from management check the stinky & unclean restrooms right across the cafe where they serve the breakfast. Ohhhh my God, urine on the floor and so unhealthy, the stench from not being clean is terrible. The worst is that i saw hotel employees step in the restroom and totaly ignore the unhealthy conditions of the restrooms. There was not one garbage can in the parking garage to dispose any trash. Please see the attached pictures of trash stacked high in the garage because there was no trash cans. Where is hotel management, i recommend hotel manager Mr. Mohamed Ali just take 10 minutes of his time to walk around the hotel to see what i am talking about. I arrived with my rental car on the 19th and no one asked if my wife and i needed help uploading our luggage from the car after waiting for 20 minutes i went and asked, please help us. No one smiled or greeted us.The checkin was slow, there was only 2 ladies on the counter helping 10 customers checking in and out. Tried to get an appointment at the Spa with no veil, only one lady available for the entire hotel, 2 days ahead to book any appointment. The room was perfect and clean and breakfasts buffet was super good. Dinner was good too with lots of choices. We had the a lacarte dinner instead of the buffet and asked the server if we ca buy or taste one of Philippino desert lechai but he said no, it is only on the buffet menu not the a la carte.

Very clean hotel. Customer service is excellent. Expensive but worth the stay. Beautiful view of the city from my room. Only comment is the drainage in the shower is not going well. Needs to be checked room 8028

Property with cockroaches in the room, moisture and humidity smell, we changed room due to moisture smell and found cockroaches in our new room. This hotel needs a major renovation! Dirty, smelly and dust everywhere. Careless staff at the front desk took my passport and never gave it back to me. I realized my passport was missing the next day when I had to take the flight.

The hotel is clean, and all the staff are friendly, courteous, helpful, and respectful to everyone. Our room cleaning attendant has been especially trustworthy, consistently keeping the room well-dusted and perfectly arranged. The only suggestion I have is regarding hygiene protocols: it would be helpful if trash cans were provided with liners or trash bags, and if cleaning attendants were supplied with disposable gloves. This would help keep their hands clean and reduce the risk of spreading bacteria, especially when handling towels, bedsheets, blankets, glasses, coffee cups & utensils.

There were cockroaches in the room

Only a 5 dollar 2 minute drive from the airport, so is very convenient. Superbly clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Spotless, one of the finest hotels I've seen. Have metal detectors in all entrances too, and so the security is very good. Can highly recommend. jw

We noticed cockroaches in the Cafe when having dinner and breakfast, around the food area. When notifying the staff they took every measure to make things right. Outside of this incident everything was fine. The staff are excellent.

Improve to sound proof unit doors as you can hear loud noises from people walking around the hallway especially housekeeping staffs when cleaning or servicing other guest rooms.

Room was spacious and clean.

I booked a suite & stated to have a balcony. Checked in on 19 Dec but was told the room allocated does not have a balcony. The hotel eventually changed the room on 21 Dec to a room that has a balcony. In return, the hotel offered late check out for me at 1600hrs on my checkout day. In general it is a very class hotel but the room (with the balcony) allocated to me has an aircon water leakage in the main bedroom and the aircon in the living room will turn off by itself without any timer set.

The rooms are remarkable for the price. It was clean and you have easy access to the mall without going outside. It is a bit of a maze though.

I was upgraded to bigger room because I’m an elite member. Unfortunately the room was further away from the connecting casino and mall the room was bigger. Unfortunately I was not able to sleep neighbors on the floor were being extra loud the bass music was coming though the walls. I don’t want to be a male Karen but from at least 2 am to 6 am loud music. I had to call the front desk. I cannot believe that with the cost of the room partying would be allowed.

Terrible bathroom! Steel like sewer ! Electric pugs was a HOTMESS and the water leaking in the toilet

Welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Check in was a breeze. Beautiful spacious room with plenty of space for relaxing. Wonderful accommodations. Free shuttle to departure area. Good variety at buffet, comforts of home and local food. Would choose to stay here over the Sheraton where we stayed a week prior to our one night at this property. We attended a wedding here and it was fabulous!

The air conditioner was broken. Waited hours to switch to another room. Room service food was the worse I ever had. After 2 days of staying there I got violently ill. Had to go to the ER. Missed my flight back. Had to move to another hotel.

The staff seemed overworked and stressed. I felt like i was inconveniening the staff when checking in. Also the Manila Marriott resort can be tricky to nqvigate to as there are multiple check in spots or wings as they call it. Overall i think its a great spot to relax if youre staying multiple days. I would not recommend for a single night stay.

I found the staff overall provides superior service. They seem to go out of their way to be helpful.

Facilities and amenities are top notch. Service and friendliness of staff is incomparable and beats anyplace in the world. Restaurants and things to do within and around can satisfy any palate.

You have to wait to check in. My check in time says 3pm. They told me to wait and will let me know when the room is ready. It was past 3 pm. I had to tell the front desk this is not acceptable. Only then they speed up cleaning one of the room for me. If the check in time says 3pm, please make the room available on time.

Good location for New Years Eve. Plenty of restaurants etc. Very convenient for Manila Airport Terminal 3 with the skyway.

Hotel was absolutely beautiful.. food and service were excellent. It’s attached to a mall and a casino. You can spend days there and not even realize all the things you are connected to. We had such an amazing experience at this hotel.

This property was close to the airport. In a nice neighborhood. Safe to walk around the streets where lot of restaurants are.

Very helpful staff. Clean facility. Comfortable bed. Wide variety of breakfast, attentive staff in the dining area. When I was looking for the josi Mendez salon, there is this 1 woman staff, told me that she doesn’t know where it was because she only attend to VIPs. What a snob!!! Aside from that, music/ singer in the lobby is a nice touch. The layout of the hotels is functional, waiting areas, the bar are situated properly. Location is close to the airport and mall.

It is not as good as it was before. The breakfast buffet is pricey but the choices were limited compared to Hilton in that area which was the same price but had so much more choices.

Amazing hospitality. Great customer experience. Rooms are large and well maintained. Only one complaint, the dinner last night at the lounge was mediocre to say the least, they served frozen pizza, though in fairness they didn’t charge for it after I complained

Enjoyed our 2 day staycation at Marriott to celebrate my son’s birthday. We got 2 rooms for our family of 5. Didnt get adjoining rooms, but was given 2 rooms close to each other. There are plenty of families staying at the hotel due to the holiday season but check in/out lines were fast moving. A lot of restaurant options available in the nearby mall.
