We booked as part of a tour following the football, its a large hotel and very tastefully decorated, we booked a suite which was very well equipped and spacious. The staff were fantastic and really could not fault anything. The tram station is 100m away from the rear of the hotel so also convenient to get into the main town. My only part negative comment was parking at 24 euro a night seemed a little high compared to the previous hotels, but that is it!

Es war wie immer klasse. Hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet, toller Pool, Entspannung im Garten. Einziges Manko war die doch recht laute Straßenbahn, die man selbst mit geschlossenem Fenster nicht überhören konnte.

Fantastic hotel! Another great Maritim! The hotel is modern, clean, spacious and organised. The staff have great customer service skills. I got a great upgrade on the room. Breakfast a highlight. Highly recommended! I will return.

Séjour de travail à Bonn. A l'enregistrement la personne venait de débuter le travail le matin même et ne savait pas comment faire. J'ai été obligé d'attendre que l'autre personne soit libre. J'avais pris une suite et il y avait une très forte odeur de cigarette ou de moisi dans l'entrée et le salon. Dans la salle bain il y avait des insectes qui se promenaient au sol. La porte de la douche n'était pas hermétique et le sol de la salle de bain tout mouillé après la douche. La lumière dans le wc ne fonctionnait pas. Bref un mauvais état de la suite qui par ailleurs était bien agencée.

The Maritim Hotel Bonn is exquisitely appointed. The rooms are spotless as are the public meeting spaces. The restaurant and brasserie operate mainly from the same menu and the food is excellent and priced in line with Bonn standards. While mistakes were sometimes made, they were promptly corrected and the staff was professional and courteous. The hotel is 20 minutes walk to the Rhine river and a short ride on public transit to downtown Bonn. You can also ride (public transit is nearby) or walk (30 minutes) to Bad Godesberg too. Staff are multilingual so no need to worry about being misunderstood. We would definitely stay there again.

Das Hotel ist gut an die Straßenbahn angebunden. Die Mitarbeiter*innen sind sehr freundlich. Leider hatte ich ziemliches Pech mit dem Badezimmer: Undichte Duschabtrennung, schlecht funktionierende Dusche, Handtücher mit schlechtem Geruch, lange schwarze Haare in der Badewanne.

Das Maritim ist eine Institution in Bonn. Vor vielen Jahren habe ich in der Stadt gewohnt und da war das Hotel der letzte Schrei. Seitdem ist meiner Meinung nach nicht viel gemacht worden, das sieht man den Zimmern an. Ist schon ein wenig abgerockt. Die Klimaanlage ging nicht und das Fenster war zwar zu öffnen, ging aber direkt auf die 4-spurige Hauptstraße mit der Strassenbahnkurve direkt davor. Sehr laut, auch nachts. An der Hotelbar mussten die Drinks direkt bezahlt werden … auch untypisch für ein Hotel mit diesem Anspruch. Das Frühstück war ok, das Zimmer sauber.

Was für eine Erfahrung in einer Hotelkette, die mal für hervorragende Qualität stand. Heute bekommt man an der Rezeption abgezählte Wasserflaschen gereicht aus einer Wand von Plastikflaschen hinter der Rezeption. Ein Schild informiert direkt beim Check-in, dass jede weitere Flasche 3.50€ kostet. In jedem 3-Sterne Hotel hat man eine nett präsentierte Flasche auf dem Zimmer zusammen mit einer kleinen Grußkarte. In unserem gab es dafür gar nichts. Keine Minibar (der Kühlschrank war sogar ausgeschaltet), keine Gläser, kein Flaschenöffner, nix. Den mitgebrachten Wein haben wir aus den Zahnputzbechern getrunken. Wifi? Funktionierte nicht. Super, wenn man mit Teenagern unterwegs ist. Dafür lief die Heizung auf volle Pulle, da brauchte man keine Sauna mehr. Ließ sich natürlich nicht einstellen. Beim Frühstücksbüffet wurden Schinken, Wurst und Käse als Zentimeter hohe Stapel gereicht. Aus der Packung direkt auf den Teller. Warum die Scheiben voneinander trennen und nett präsentieren, landen doch eh im Magen. Sehr traurig zu sehen, wie diese frühere Qualitätsmarke heute nur noch auf wirtschaftliche Effizienz getrimmt ist.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel und gut gelegen. Zeitig gebucht, daher auch vernünftiger Preis ohne Frühstück. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, Zimmer sehr gut, Bad mit Dusche und genügend Handtüchern - top. Einzig das Wlan im Zimmer war etwas schwach. Alles in Allem - jederzeit wieder.

Leider war das Zimmer nicht das sauberste. Dies haben wir an der Rezeption vermerkt und hätten uns über ein kleines entgegen kommen sehr gefreut. Wir saßen im Restaurant 40 Minuten, man sah uns aber bediente uns nicht. Es war an dem Tag viel los, dennoch darf dies nicht passieren.

The hotel is 20 minutes walk to the Rhine river and a short ride on public transit to downtown Bonn. You can also ride (public transit is nearby) or walk (30 minutes) to Bad Godesberg too. Staff are multilingual so no need to worry about being misunderstood. We would definitely stay there again.

Was die Organisation angeht absolute Katastrophe zu lasten. Ich wollte am Abend vor der Abreise in der bar joch ein Pina Colada trinken. Der barkeeper habe ich mitgeteilt, dass ich nach den dinner in die bar komme. Ich bin lurz nach den dinner auf mein Zimmer. Als ich runter kam, war der barkeeper weg und stand vor verschlossener Tür. Ich war richtig verärgert darüber. Am Anreisetag hatte ich den Wunsch das 3 Gänge Menu vom 31.12.22 auf mein Zimmer zu bekommen. Man teilte mir mit, dass das nicht geht. Dann wurde mir von jemanden mitgeteilt, dass es möglich ist. Mir wurde die Mrnükarte bezüglich 4/5 Gangmenu auf mein Zimmer zum ausfüllen gebracht. Am 30.12.22 teilte msn mir mit, dass mir die falsche Menükarte gegebrn wurde. Am 31.12.22 wurde mir an der Rezeption mitgeteilt, dass das mit der Roomservice abgesprochen ist. Daraufhin erklärte ich dass mir am Vortag mitgeteilt wurde dass das nicht geht mit Roomservice. Nun musste ich über 20 Minuten an der Rezeption warten, weil keiner kam. Nach 25 Minuten reichte es mir und bin auf mein Zommer. An der Rezeption teilte mam mir mit, dass man sich telefonisch bei mir melden wird. Es hat keiner angerufen. Ich musste dann selbst reagieren und erst dann hat jemsnd mit mir gesprochen. Ich war richtig verärgert. Das Zimmeg war unerträglich warm. Darauf wurde angesprochen. Man meinte, die Heizung wäre angeschlossen. Obwohl die Heizung aus war war es warm.

The hotel is very large and taking that into consideration it is immaculate. Plenty of seating areas, 3 restaurants for eating and a bar. We visit Maritim hotels for their signature breakfast and this experience was the best yet. Food laid out neatly and crockery cleared efficiently. Staff lovely and welcoming in all departments. Didn't visit the pool or gym. Transport stations nearby for getting into the city.

Das Maritim ist eine Institution in Bonn. Vor vielen Jahren habe ich in der Stadt gewohnt und da war das Hotel der letzte Schrei. Seitdem ist meiner Meinung nach nicht viel gemacht worden, das sieht man den Zimmern an. Ist schon ein wenig abgerockt. Die Klimaanlage ging nicht und das Fenster war zwar zu öffnen, ging aber direkt auf die 4-spurige Hauptstraße mit der Strassenbahnkurve direkt davor. Sehr laut, auch nachts. An der Hotelbar mussten die Drinks direkt bezahlt werden … auch untypisch für ein Hotel mit diesem Anspruch. Das Frühstück war ok, das Zimmer sauber.

The hotel is near the river and park though which is very pleasant.

Fantastic hotel! Another great Maritim! The hotel is modern, clean, spacious and organised. The staff have great customer service skills. I got a great upgrade on the room. Breakfast a highlight. Highly recommended! I will return.

Running paths close by were very nice and it was easy to get around the city with the nearby public transit. The dining was a little one note, because each of the on site restaurants seemed to offer the same options. There is no point in having three restaurants if they share the same kitchen.

Es war wie immer klasse. Hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet, toller Pool, Entspannung im Garten. Einziges Manko war die doch recht laute Straßenbahn, die man selbst mit geschlossenem Fenster nicht überhören konnte.

Location is convenient for official government meetings but far from the town center Staff is friendly and effective Rooms are clean and functional Pool is not very big but nice and good sauna. Towels need to be brought from the room as there are none in the pool area. All in all a satisfactory stay.
