Limited parking as hotel only has 6 parking spots available and it costs €18 or you pay €25 for nearby park house. The knob to the door in my room was broken had to lift up and push in to make it lock. The room and bathroom was tiny and there was water leaking which the property is aware off but before my arrival they laid a towel over the leaking spot when I woke of to pee I stepped into the pool of water. There was so much lint and dust in the air and the blanket was so tiny I couldn’t share with my friend. Overall if you’re on a tight budget this might work for a 1 night stay. The only positive thing is staff were polite enough and the location is close to the center of the city Bonn

Wir waren hier zum zweiten Mal: zum ersten und zum letzten! Mäßiger Check in mit Verständigungsproblemen, Zimmer um 17 Uhr noch nicht fertig, alles dunkel und irgendwie unangenehm. Zimmer zum Innenhof morgens laut, Sauberkeit insgesamt im Zimmer noch OK. , Parkhaus schließt um 23 Uhr und ist dann nicht zu befahren -suoer, wenn man spätnachts nach Hause kommt und mitten in der Innenstadt einen Parkplatz braucht... Frühstück in überhaupt nicht einladen der Atmosphäre haben wir uns erspart

Ein Hotel im Zustand der Renovierung, Ein Teil der Zimmer ist anscheinend bereits renoviert, während der Rest in einem unglaublichen Zustand ist und eher an ein heruntergewirtschaftetes Etablissement als an ein Hotel erinnert. Bettbezug war sauber und gewaschen, die Kissen und Decken waren aber extrem fleckig und rochen streng. Der Teppich war klebrig und roch, die Vorhänge sahen aus wie aus einer Raucherkneipe in den 1970er Jahren, die Halterung der Fernsehers war aus Dachlatten zusammengenagelt. Die Flure in dezentem Schwarz und schlecht beleuchtet, die Tiefgarage ging nicht auf und der als Ersatz zugewiesene Parkplatz hatte eine Schranke die erst um 9.30 Uhr öffnete, also mussten die ersten Termine mit dem Taxi erledigt werden. Das nette Personal an der Rezeption kann einem echt leid tun, denn die geben sich echt Mühe.

Alles war kaputt in dem Zimmer. Die Heizung war auf Max gestellt und konnte nicht geändert werden unser TV war nur als Dekoration.

Stayed for the Euros as close to Cologne. Very simple hotel but everything works. WiFi was ok. They did forget to clean our room but the staff were good and gave us a free breakfast. Would recommend only staying for a night or 2.

I got the room after one hour from checking in, The room was very noisy as kids plays in the ground area and the Air Conditioner was not working and I asked to change the room , the other room was not clean and also the Conditioner was not working , the hotel did not have a technician to fix the air conditioner problem and they asked me to wait for tomorrow, the reception always empty , no one on the reception disk you have always to ring the bell and wait untill some one cones, the hotel state is not as the photos , It does not deserve the money, also one light source was not working in the room. Terrible experience

Da ich beruflich morgens in einer Telefon-/Internet-Konferenz sein musste, hatte ich am Abend zuvor alles vorbereitet und musste das WLAN des Hotels nutzen! Wurde ja auch mit WLAN ANGEBOTEN! Leider war eine Verbindung weder ins Internet, geschweige danach ein WebEx-Konferenz mit Video möglich! Somit konnte ich meine Arbeitstätigkeit unvollständig nur per Handy nutzen, was sehr eingeschrenkt und mir visuelle Informationen somit fehlten, eine Katastrophe!! Ich werde mein Geld zurück verlangen. Auch TV hatte nur 1 Programm und auf frage zu den o.g. Problemen, wurde nur gesagt, wir haben das Hotel neu übernommen und können aktuelle probleme nicht adhoc beheben!!! Ich soll mich in der Centrale in Düsseldorf beschweren. Ein absolutes Desaster! Das gehört verboten!

I wish I could say our stay at this hotel was a pleasant one, but sadly it was anything but. Upon check-in, we were given a room that was in a shocking state. The lighting was faulty, the door was covered in dirt, the bathroom floor was sopping wet, and there was a thick layer of dust coating the headboard and TV. Naturally, we complained and were moved to another room that we were assured would be better. Unfortunately, the second room wasn't much better. It was in a sorry state of repair, with dust caked on the telly and hairs clinging to the bathroom wall. Various stains adorned the furnishings, and there was a gaping hole in the carpet, rather shoddily covered by a rubber doormat, along with stains on the walls and ripped wallpaper. The net curtains were sporting an array of mysterious stains. The corners of the mattress were harbouring grime, and the whole room had a distinctly musty odour, with the bathroom smelling particularly damp. The tired pillows weren’t fresh and the pillow cases so insufficient that we ended up using towels to properly cover them. The rest of the hotel didn't fare much better. The men’s toilet on the ground floor was in dire need of a good scrub, and the seating in reception was worn and stained. A musty smell permeated the entire building, which was generally in a poor state of repair. Its current state is simply unacceptable for a hire charging these prices.

Unfortunately my time in Bonn was marred by my experiences at this hotel. From the moment I arrived I was met with disdain and a lack of respect from the man on reception who seemed to be more interested in getting rid of me than checking me in. The room was dusty, dirty, the heating did not work and the television was almost hanging off the wall. Stains in the sink and a loose shower rail. The bed and pillows were far too soft and not clean. I complained about the issues raised above and was assured that they would be taken care of. They were not. In fact for the first two days of my stay my room was not cleaned at all. Given that I was doing a fair bit of travelling and socialising I was not able to return to the hotel until the evening, at which point I was told that it was too late for the room to be cleaned. Eventually I was moved room for the final two nights. This room was better but was still not sufficient. This hotel is a disgrace and, bar the helpfulness and kindness of the two young ladies who work on reception, I would rather this as a 0/10 establishment. Sorry to say it but it's a dump. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere and do not even consider visiting this place. Absolutely terrible.

Ich habe kurzfristig ein günstiges Zimmer in bonn gefunden. Das Hotel wirkt allerdings eher wie ein stillgelegtes Rotlichtetablissement. Kabel hängen aus den Wänden. Dreck auf den Fluren. Silbefische (Insekten) im Zimmer. Hatte große wiederstände etwas anzufassen. Immerhin Frische Bettwäsche. Dafür sind dann 90€ pro Nacht schon wirklich viel. Es wird überall geraucht. Menschen die irgendwo zwischen Personal und drogenszene rangieren Bevölkern die Lobby. Mariuhanaduft auf den Fluren und klebriger dreck auf den Türklinken. Nicht empfehlenswert.

In dem erstem Zimmer war die ganze Decke im Bad verschimmelt, wir haben ohne einen Einwand ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, der auf dem ersten Blick renoviert und sauberer war als das erste. Auf dem zweiten Blick leider nicht. Das Bettgestell war mit einem Stoffbezug, total verdreckt, an der Decke der Feuermelder war abgeklebt mit einer Folie, überall haben Ecken und Kanten in den Fliesen gefehlt. Ich könnte noch länger aufzählen, wir haben die eine Nacht überlebt noch ein Mal würden wir dort nicht übernachten. Das ganze Hotel ist eine Baustelle nichts davon steht auf der Website, wo für die vier Sterne bekommen haben ist mir ein Rätsel.

On a eu la chambre 510, spacieuse et correcte. On c'est rendu compte tres tard le soir que le dessus de lit est plein de debris de verre. Ma compagne c'est coupé au niveau du coude, il y avait du sang partout (voir photos). Le veilleur de nuit Vasily nous a expliqué que la veille une table de chevet en verre c'est cassé. La chambre a ete mal nettoyé, y avait des debris tranchants sur le lits et par terre aussi. Dans la panique et à 01h00 on a déménagé à la 503 moins spacieuse, meme pas surclassé. On n'a eu aucun geste de la part de la réception. Notre sejour c'est mal passé à cause de cet incident et des saignements fréquents de la blessure de ma compagne. Je souhaiterais avoir un dédommagement à la hauteur de 30% comme geste commercial. Etant un ancien cadre de l'hôtellerie parisienne, je confirme que le staff etait sympa et accueillant. L'emplacement de l'hotel est top, en plein centre de Bonn. Chambre et propreté moyen, tres moyen. En attente de votre retour. Cordialement, Kaïs

Check in online was easy and booking. Upon arrival I was given a number written on a card to access my room which failed meaning I had to visit reception for the guy to come up with a fob to let me in every time which was frustrating. The pillows were too soft and the bathroom had hair on the floor. The location was good as it was a short walk to lots of things.

Das Hotel entspricht in keiner Form den Angaben welche auf Expedia zu diesem zu finden sind. Wir hatten drei Doppelzimmer unter der Kategorie Belmont Duo in diesem Hotel gebucht. Direkt beim Check-In in das Hotel gab es die ersten Probleme: Als wir unser Zimmer betreten haben, durften wir feststellen, dass dieses noch nicht gereinigt wurde. So lagen die Bettwäsche und die benutzten Handtücher auf dem Boden. Eines der anderen beiden Zimmer entsprach nicht der gebuchten Kategorie. Nachdem wir dies bei der Rezeption reklamiert und die Probleme geschildert haben, haben wir nach einigen Minuten des Wartens und den genervten Blicken des Personals, zwei andere Zimmer bekommen. Auch diese Zimmer entsprachen nicht im Ansatz den Bildern, die online zu sehen waren. So gab es in den Zimmern folgende Probleme: - Silberfischchen / Ungeziefer im Badezimmer - Verstaubte Möbel - Dreckige Badezimmer - Defekter Haartrockner (hohes Verletzungspotential bei Benutzung) - Dreckiger Kühlschrank - Das Seitenteil des Kopfteils hat auf einer Seite des Bettes gefehlt - Verdrecktes Kopfteil des Bettes - Abgeplatzte Farbe an den Wänden - Geklebte Möbel, da sich bei diesen bereits die Verkleidung gelöst hat - Kalkablagerungen auf dem Boden unterhalb des Heizkörpers - Verdreckte Zimmertüren - Nicht verkleidete Steckdose - Verschmierte Fenster Von einer Hotelübernachtung in diesem Hotel kann ich jedem nur abraten.

Comfy bed, nice bathroom and clean. Lots of marks on the walls and chips on the furniture which was not expected. Check in was quick and luggage storaged was good on departure. The smoking area was right next to the entrance door which wasn't nice to walk through. Noise in the corridor could be heard in the room.

The building has convenient access to nearby shopping and dining areas. However, the rooms and corridors are painted black with poor lighting, making it difficult to see and use the electronic door pad. The TV didn’t work during our stay, and there was no telephone in the room to contact the front desk. The dining area furniture was always stacked, so it was never possible to sit and use the space.

La photo de la chambre sur Hotels.com fait rêver. Malheureusement, une fois dans la chambre, on se rend très vite compte que ce décor est très sensible (traces d’impacts blancs sur mur noir, peinture abimée au niveau des portes). L’état global de la chambre et le mobilier de faible qualité gâche l’ambiance que la décoration aurait du apporter. Cependant la literie était correct et le petit-déjeuner très agréable. Le rapport prix/prestations reste correct.

Odd renovation in black theme. Bed comfortable and new i think, towels soft which is a change from the exfoliating towels in most hotels. Fairtrade shampoo was a pleasant surprise. Not the most sevice oriented hotel in the world. My room was large but a little on the expensive side. I booked late when not much was available. Great location in the centre.

Unfortunately my time in Bonn was marred by my experiences at this hotel. From the moment I arrived I was met with disdain and a lack of respect from the man on reception who seemed to be more interested in getting rid of me than checking me in. The room was dusty, dirty, the heating did not work and the television was almost hanging off the wall. Stains in the sink and a loose shower rail. The bed and pillows were far too soft and not clean. I complained about the issues raised above and was assured that they would be taken care of. They were not. In fact for the first two days of my stay my room was not cleaned at all. Given that I was doing a fair bit of travelling and socialising I was not able to return to the hotel until the evening, at which point I was told that it was too late for the room to be cleaned. Eventually I was moved room for the final two nights. This room was better but was still not sufficient. This hotel is a disgrace and, bar the helpfulness and kindness of the two young ladies who work on reception, I would rather this as a 0/10 establishment. Sorry to say it but it's a dump. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere and do not even consider visiting this place. Absolutely terrible.

Wir waren hier zum zweiten Mal: zum ersten und zum letzten! Mäßiger Check in mit Verständigungsproblemen, Zimmer um 17 Uhr noch nicht fertig, alles dunkel und irgendwie unangenehm. Zimmer zum Innenhof morgens laut, Sauberkeit insgesamt im Zimmer noch OK. , Parkhaus schließt um 23 Uhr und ist dann nicht zu befahren -suoer, wenn man spätnachts nach Hause kommt und mitten in der Innenstadt einen Parkplatz braucht... Frühstück in überhaupt nicht einladen der Atmosphäre haben wir uns erspart

Stayed for the Euros as close to Cologne. Very simple hotel but everything works. WiFi was ok. They did forget to clean our room but the staff were good and gave us a free breakfast. Would recommend only staying for a night or 2.

Staff was absolutely fantastic and so accommodating, letting me check in early free of charge even though it was not guarantee. The price for one night was exceptional. Additionally the bedding was immensely comfortable and the location of the hotel allowed for some evening sightseeing after dinner.

I had a short stay at the hotel but it was very comfortable. You can see the new hotel Belmond is located in an old structure (the sign outside says Hotel Consul), but it seems to me they are slowly working to renovate everything. The lobby is really modern. My single room was instead a bit old, but equipped with everything: a nice desk with a led lamp, the single room was spacious and comfy and the bathroom had all the necessary toiletries including a dental kit and the hair dryer. The staff is really nice and the hotel so centrally located.

I got the room after one hour from checking in, The room was very noisy as kids plays in the ground area and the Air Conditioner was not working and I asked to change the room , the other room was not clean and also the Conditioner was not working , the hotel did not have a technician to fix the air conditioner problem and they asked me to wait for tomorrow, the reception always empty , no one on the reception disk you have always to ring the bell and wait untill some one cones, the hotel state is not as the photos , It does not deserve the money, also one light source was not working in the room. Terrible experience

Upon arrival I was given a number written on a card to access my room which failed meaning I had to visit reception for the guy to come up with a fob to let me in every time which was frustrating. The pillows were too soft and the bathroom had hair on the floor. The location was good as it was a short walk to lots of things.

On a eu la chambre 510, spacieuse et correcte. On c'est rendu compte tres tard le soir que le dessus de lit est plein de debris de verre. Ma compagne c'est coupé au niveau du coude, il y avait du sang partout (voir photos). Le veilleur de nuit Vasily nous a expliqué que la veille une table de chevet en verre c'est cassé. La chambre a ete mal nettoyé, y avait des debris tranchants sur le lits et par terre aussi. Dans la panique et à 01h00 on a déménagé à la 503 moins spacieuse, meme pas surclassé. On n'a eu aucun geste de la part de la réception. Notre sejour c'est mal passé à cause de cet incident et des saignements fréquents de la blessure de ma compagne. Je souhaiterais avoir un dédommagement à la hauteur de 30% comme geste commercial. Etant un ancien cadre de l'hôtellerie parisienne, je confirme que le staff etait sympa et accueillant. L'emplacement de l'hotel est top, en plein centre de Bonn. Chambre et propreté moyen, tres moyen. En attente de votre retour. Cordialement, Kaïs

Der bauliche Zustand des Hotels ist katastrophal; nicht abgeschlossene Baugewerke, Schmutz und abgelebte Zimmereinrichtungen. Die Zimmer sind farblich sehr dunkel bis schwarz angestrichen und eingerichtet. Dunkel kann edel wirken; hier war alles verrammelt und billigst zusammengeschustert. Ich habe in meinem Leben schon viele Hotels besucht. Das Belmont Classic war das mit Abstand schlechteste Hotel. Einziger „Lichtblick“ in der Dunkelkammer war das Frühstück. Einfach aber ok.

La photo de la chambre sur Hotels.com fait rêver. Malheureusement, une fois dans la chambre, on se rend très vite compte que ce décor est très sensible (traces d’impacts blancs sur mur noir, peinture abimée au niveau des portes). L’état global de la chambre et le mobilier de faible qualité gâche l’ambiance que la décoration aurait du apporter. Cependant la literie était correct et le petit-déjeuner très agréable. Le rapport prix/prestations reste correct.

Wir waren hier zum zweiten Mal: zum ersten und zum letzten! Mäßiger Check in mit Verständigungsproblemen, Zimmer um 17 Uhr noch nicht fertig, alles dunkel und irgendwie unangenehm. Zimmer zum Innenhof morgens laut, Sauberkeit insgesamt im Zimmer noch OK. , Parkhaus schließt um 23 Uhr und ist dann nicht zu befahren -suoer, wenn man spätnachts nach Hause kommt und mitten in der Innenstadt einen Parkplatz braucht... Frühstück in überhaupt nicht einladen der Atmosphäre haben wir uns erspart

Gute Lage, ruhiges Zimmer, nette Rezeption Frühstück einfach, aber OK. Zimmer groß, aber keine Duschwand...da duscht das ganze Bad mit...und in den Nachttischlampen war keine Birne. Der Herr an der Rezeption verstand uns nicht richtig und brachte dann eine Schreibtischlampe...immerhin schnell.

Stayed for the Euros as close to Cologne. Very simple hotel but everything works. WiFi was ok. They did forget to clean our room but the staff were good and gave us a free breakfast. Would recommend only staying for a night or 2.

Even though the location of the hotel was very good, the building and the rooms are very old and down. This was the second worse hotel l have ever stayed. Every aspect of the hotel’s condition was bad! We also booked two rooms for the family. One of the rooms were smelling cigarette too. I will definetely not stay here again and don’t recommend it.

The building has convenient access to nearby shopping and dining areas. However, the rooms and corridors are painted black with poor lighting, making it difficult to see and use the electronic door pad. The TV didn’t work during our stay, and there was no telephone in the room to contact the front desk. The dining area furniture was always stacked, so it was never possible to sit and use the space.
